Hotel Alameda, Highline

Hotels.com didn’t mention that this is a $30 per day charge for amenities, not really upfront about that love the property didn’t like that Hotels.com didn’t mention it though. Room Was under roof bar which was very noisy.

The pictures are so misleading , downright fraudulent . I stayed in the standard room. Very small but that didn’t bother me . It’s a mattress on the floor . There is a plywood 6 inch platform but it’s really a mattress on a concrete floor . There was no rug like the pictures ? There is no mini fridge . They only give you one washcloth ? The lighting is so bad . There one small recessed light on the wall in the bathroom ? You could never do makeup or get ready in the room or bathroom . Not only is there very little lighting but the walls are black so it makes it super dark ? The outlet covers don’t fit etc etc . Maybe they only use this room for 3rd party bookings and other rooms are normal? There is also no key required for the elevator and that’s pretty standard for security ? I got terrible sleep my back hurt. I can’t sleep on a mattress on a floor . This room might be good for a male college kid ? Not a girl who needs to get ready for anything . It’s not a room for anyone over 25! Two good things were the location and the staff . The staff was so nice and very helpful !!!! The building needs major work .

The location sits right by the High Line park. It's within quick walking distance to Madison Square Garden plus the Chelsea and Meat Packing Districts. Some shopping available at

dont stay there on a friday or saturday night they have a nightclub in the basement that is open until 3.30am and i could hear the thumping beat of the music in my room on the 6th floor it was a nightmare!!!
