Quality Inn Weeki Wachee - Spring Hill

The pool was not available. Ice machine is broken. It is quite dated and old, but it seems the staff is trying the best they can with what they’ve got.

I choose this place to stay because of the free breakfast and exercise room. Breakfast was cereal, toast and make your own waffles. The first two day they didn't even have creamer for the coffee and the exercise room had been turn into a storge room. The flooring in the room was sticky and turned our socks black. We used a wet towel from the pool to wipe down the floors, that helped some. Overall it wasn't horrible.

Only problem is there was no ice available. Other than that, perfect

For the money if you expect a five star hotel then you’ll be disappointed. Overall decent stay they have super nice pool my wife and I enjoyed in the evenings, but closed early 8pm. They allowed pets which we have one little dog with plenty of space to walk her. My only complaint was rooms were a little musty. Breakfast was very generic eggs, sausage, cereal, toast and yogurt. It was fine for me. For the money and location it was great place for us, I would stay again. Once again, you have to have realistic expectations when going with lower budget hotels.

Maria was my housekeeper and she was extremely friendly and restocked my room daily. I never had trouble finding parking. I love the 24 hour coffee machine and closeness of the hotel to my aunt and uncle’s house.

On a very busy road. Breakfast was good. No chain on the door. Faucet had a leak. No decorations on the walls. No grab bars in the bathroom.

No elevators and the hot water did not stay hot long enough for a shower

Stayed 3 nights in (regular) King Suite. Loved everything! Excellent & friendly staff, speedy service, very clean rooms, very spacious, great location, felt safe and well lit, Liked the parking too and having a room to the outside. For a 3 star hotel & for the value and the area, property age, etc., they more than deserve 5 Gold Stars. Also liked how close it was to the Crystal River for swimming with Manatees & to the Weeki Washee Springs Park which is where the Mermaids are. Not a whole lot of a night life in Spring Hill, though the Capone’s (pool hall / bar) nearby was a real treat. We also ran into a couple of FEMA refugees staying at the hotel and they, too, were very very nice. Thought it was really cool that the hotel opened their doors to them.

I will suggest if you are a light sleeper you request a room in the back side of the hotel. Up front near the main higway is noisy at night from the traffic.

I stayed here while visiting my Aunt and Uncle who lived 3 minutes away. The staff was extremely pleasant and my room was cleaned and restocked with towels daily. A grocery store was in walking distance and they had coffee available all day. I could not use the gym because it was filled with chairs but the pool was open. Enjoyed my stay and will go back.

We started our stay in room 234 and found a live bed bug and requested to be moved. We then were moved to room 211 but that room was unclean as well with blood on the bedsheets and dead bed bugs in the duvet. Then we checked another room out without moving to ensure cleanliness (221) and when pulling the corner of the bed to strip and see if there was anything a live cockroach flew out of the sheet corner. We were then moved to 226 (a newly renovated room) and were finally able to get some sleep after a short grueling stay.

Ppl were up and outside alll night long!! Its was gross the floors turned my socks blk after only an hr of being there. Bed was extremely uncomfortable wouldn’t recommend.

It’s an older hotel that could use basic upgrades in the rooms. Common area, pool area, and morning breakfast were great. The rooms however, needs some more work and please mop the floors. We walked around with no shoes on in our room and in a matter of minutes, our feet were filthy. The rest of the room was somewhat clean, but the floors were terrible & when we put items in the fridge in our room we had water dripping in it that soaked everything.

Bed was comfortable but very noisy. Chairs were nasty dirty and bathroom needs a deep cleaning bad. Fridge was rusted and looked horrible. There was a bad cologne smell in the room that gave us a headache. Staff were super friendly and helpful which is why I rated my rate. There was some sketchy old man that kept lingering in parking lot which made us feel uneasy. Would’ve preferred to not be on the back side of the building.

The room smelled like an old ash tray and they used pine oil to attempt to cover the smell. It was nauseating. There were little roaches in the vanity area.

Disgusting, when I got to my room the garbage pails had not been emptied, there was a wet towel underneath the sink and the room smelled of smoke. The gentleman at the desk got me another room and did his best and I’m certainly not blaming him but the next room also smelt of smoke. These are non smoking rooms but they smelled terrible. Do not stay here

Room was clean, just smelled old, wet and moldy so I can’t give it a perfect rating. Staff was nice

Worst hotel ever. Bugs all over the room and dirty bed sheets with body fluid stains and peoples lower hair all over them.

We chose for the convenience to Weeki Wachee (which it was) but it was not clean and was in need of some updates as far as things falling apart, rusting, etc. The breakfast options left a lot to be desired.

The stay was disappointing from start to end. Krystal greeted us who refused to accept our service dog. She insisted we pay the pet fee & didn’t know the law about service dogs. Krystal kept repeating that she needed documentation & there wasn’t anything she could do for us. Once we got to our room, we saw ants, a leaking shower and sink, the phone didn’t work, the door frames were tore up, and door handles loose. We asked to change rooms and were accommodated. However, the new room didn’t have some of the same small amenities as the first room. There wasn’t a luggage rack or dirty laundry bag, the tv remote didn’t work, the closet door wasn’t attached, we had to remove it and lean it against the wall, main door tab covering the key hole was falling off. The second room had some of the same issues, loose door handles, phone didn’t work, leaking shower. The breakfast was fair, one of the customer service attendants we dealt with the next day was nice, and the manager refunded the pet fee but said you will find problems wherever you go and if he can fix it he’ll send maintenance to the room. We didn’t want to hang around the room while maintenance repairs work. I could stay home if I want to do chores. After we checked out we saw we were double charged on the credit card. We called to ask about it and Krystal answered the phone. She said she didn’t know how to check the account and couldn’t help, we would have to speak to the manager the next day. Not helpful from start to end.

Not content. Staff checking in was friendly. The room was over all clean but not up to date. The counter in the bathroom was cracked and bathroom tub had stains. The bed was very uncomfortable. My main complaints are that the air/heating unit kept making this random screeching noise that was so loud that I had to turn the whole thing off, resulting in staying in a cold room. Good thing I brought a hoodie. Also, people were outside the room between 12am-2am talking loudly as if there was some get together on a Sunday night. Wasn’t the best stay but it worked for what I needed it for. Wouldn’t stay again if I had a choice.

The hotel is definitely older but it is a well kept facility that appears to have went through fairly recent renovations. The rooms are fairly spacious with tall 10 ft ceilings. Staff was perfectly nice and helpful. A decent place to take a family. The continental breakfast was reasonably good and definitely adds some value. I would not call it a 3 star hotel but would not call it a two star either. I would recommend just don't expect Holiday Inn level accomadations. A bit above average of an experience and for the price it is quite reasonable of a deal.

This is probably one of the worst stays I have had. Rooms completely out dated. Walks so thin you can hear neighbors walking around. Neighbors were up the entire evening playing music. Finally got up and left at 5am due to unreasonable stay. Really truly not a good experience at all.

The room was nice and a good value for the price. The room was very clean and in good condition. The bathroom showed ware (rust stains) on the safety bars in the tub - but was clean. The curtains showed ware and had several holes and need to be replaced, the metal springs on the box spring were squeaky. The AC was on the louder side. A good choice for a night or two.

The picture is deceiving. I do not like motels and thus what it is. The door let in light and a small opening at the bottom which could let in bugs and geckos. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

I had a problem as I mistakenly made a reservation through Expedia for Sunday night stay and I showed up Saturday. The girl at the desk got me a room but could cancel my Expedia reservation. The desk tried unsuccessfully the next morning and advised me to talk with the manager Monday. I did, and by Thursday I was contacted and told I would receive a refund. Thank You….. next time, no Expedia. I’ll contact the hotel directly.

Cleaning staff stole all of our food.

The morning lady was rude

Front desk staff was knowledgeable and efficient. They even escorted me to my room!!!!

They charged me for not only the stay but a large security deposit and a large charge for what they said was “checking to see if my credit card would work”. The lobby and room smelled like death and chlorine. The final straw is when I went down the street to get coffee, returned 10 minutes later only to find my shower fixtures had been removed and the room was scattered with tools. The excuse was work needed to be done and the plumber had let himself into my room without my knowledge or permission, while all my belongings were inside. I immediately left a day early and checked in to another hotel.

Customer service was awesome. Tv had no picture and the coffee maker was missing parts. They tried fixing tv but was not up to par. They replaced the coffee maker. Other than that it was a good stay.

You can LITERALLY walk across the street to Weeki Wachee State Park. There's a market and multiple stores immediately next door to the motel. Rooms are quite large and easily fit two adults and two children. GOOD breakfast including waffles, eggs and bacon.

Property was clean and easy to find. Very close to Weeki Wachee which is why we stayed there. There are restaurants and stores close by so everything you need is within a few minutes drive.

Breakfast was good. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal and juice and coffee. Bed was comfortable.

Friendy staff and great breakfast.

It was clean and comfortable. The lady in the breakfast area was delightfully friendly.

We got a last minute reservation. The price was high, over $200 for one night. The bathtub was stained. There was a high pitched noise cycling on and off all night. Not a quiet night. Breakfast had slim pickings. The staff was very nice, but the place was run down. I’ve stayed at Quality Inns before, but this one is the worst. .

I paid way to much for a room through a third party website and the girl at the front desk told me that I did. That set the tone for the whole visit. After paying in full for the room I had to put a card on file for "incidentals". They held $100 on a holiday weekend so I wont get my money back for almost a week. Incidentals in a drug infested hotel? The girl in the room next to me was clearly on drugs she was smoking outside the room, talking to herself, spinning around like a ballerina and had a child in the room!! The people down at the pool told me they lived there, they were also clearly on drugs. The hotel is dangerous. The stairwell to the second floor has water pouring onto it, the stairs have freestanding water. An accident waiting to happen. The pool was filthy. The only good part was the breakfast options. Breakfast was great. I am a rewards member and I was so disappointed in this hotel. It is not the normal for Quality Inn's. The local police need to hang out in the parking lot!! We left and went somewhere else for the rest of our vacation. If you choose to stay here beware of the local druggies that live and hang out here. Make sure to lock your room door and tightly and your car doors!!
