WoodSpring Suites Columbia - Irmo

Overall, stay was pleasant. Rooms were clean, they had laundry on site (cost $7.25 for one load to wash/dry), and pets were allowed. No one is at from desk from 10 pm to 8 am (have to use kiosk in entry way to check in). There was vomit left in front of entry doors over night so they may want to have at least one person on site to handle things like that.

The Pros: Clean property, clean & spacious room, convenient location, and abundant parking. The Cons: The beds squeak anytime you move. Walls are paper thin so you will hear everything. If you check in or out after office hours, you will have to use a kiosk with a remote reservation assistant. There is no on site staff after hours. There’s no breakfast available, but there are vending machines.

The location is great and there's ample parking. The property is well kept and clean. Rooms are spacious and clean. However, keep in mind that this is more of an extended stay property. The mattress was on the lower side of mid. It's a suite... But the shelves are empty - no silverware, cups, bath towels, etc. Overall it's not bad, just don't expect luxury.

The parking area was very nice and clean,the room was very clean and smelled good ,I will be staying again.

This review is based off of the staff on premise. They have limited staffed hours. I was told you cannot get any extra pillows, or blankets as they do not have them (was even told they were destroyed which raised bug questions..) anymore, so if you have a pullout couch in the room no sheets, blanket or pillow available. My room had one pillow between the three occupants for a king bed and a pullout.. they told me there were two, there was not, and they couldn't give us more. They have security Kiosk in the front to assist with check-in and after hour questions, but they really cannot do anything as its a virtual assistant (Stan was very cordial, but not effective help in anyway) which really was frustrating when they also told me both in person, and through the Kiosk I could not speak to a supervisor or manager. If you need a room for the night with maybe a pillow and a blanket, this might work for you.
