Hotellet har ett bra läge samt en fräsch och inbjudande reception/lobby. Övrig del av fastigheten är dock i behov av renovering. Det inkluderar även rummen. Personalen trevlig.

Great hotel - comfortable, clean with helpful staff. Not a big place, so less facilities than a bog chain hotel, but nevertheless this is a charming hotel in a good hotel...

Het was een fijn hotel met heel aardig personeel. Ben niets te kort gekomen met mijn dochter. Parkeren was wel lastig maar ook daar hebben ze een oplossing voor. Als ik weer naar Brussel ga wil ik weer terug komen in dit hotel.

Staff were lovely, really great hotel if you need parking !! Rooms could be a little cleaner but we were more bothered about having a safer parking area for the car which we got!!

Nice, small hotel in central Brussels just a couple blocks from Grand Place. Very convenient and friendly staff.

Simple room, spacious, clean, no AC, able to open windows, the front desk will provide a fan however i did not need to use it. Out side temperature around 55 f. No coffee or tea in room. I did not use the breakfast therefore i can not provide a reviews on that area. Lobby has a small bar with pricelist.sto

Building is dated, with only a few areas renovated. If you're not spending a lot of time at the hotel, this works as the location is excellent.

We came here for a night. It had what we needed as tourists. The area is great. The elevator worked. How can I complain?

Bed linen not clean when arrived, but was changed after complaint. Poorly maintained sanitary shower without thermostat shower

Booked twin room couple of months in advance. When arrived the room was a double so they moved us to front of hotel. Room very basic. Bathroom no light, only big floor lamp. One socket which lamp was plugged into. Dried hair in the dark. Shower powerful but would not stay in place. Smell of sewage in bathroom. In corridor outside room very dark because of flickering light that was not fixed.

Our recent stay at the Hotel La Légende was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff greeted us with warm smiles and Belgium chocolates and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of Brussels, making it easy to explore the local attractions. The rooms were a testament to cleanliness, with every corner spotless and the linens fresh and crisp. Service chaleureux mais les chambres sont limites, pas propre dans la salle de bain, lumière HS dans la chambre, l’ensemble est loin de ressembler aux photos. Je suis très déçue.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very convenient and walkable to all the places we wanted to see. The staff was very nice and helpful! The room was cleaned. We would come back to this hotel on future visits.

A mixed review. Lovely hotel, fantastic location, friendly staff, excellent bed, good room. 4.5 stars for that. However, the toilet would not flush properly, instead just swirling around its contents. Not pretty. The shower was nearly impossible to get to a useable temperature, either scalding hot or freezing cold. It literally took ten minutes to get to a bearable temperature.

The location is convenient for walking to local events, tourist attractions, and transportation. Room is small but clean and comfortable. Several times the toilet didn’t flush , however, staff was quick to resolve the problem. Breakfast was very good and convenient if you don’t want to leave the hotel in the early morning. It is within walking distance of the Geand place , shops, and restaurants, however, it’s very busy with tourists. You can walk to the central train station and tour pickup locations

The location of the hotel is fantastic - right in the city center of Brussels. Even with this proximity, it manages to be quiet at night. The rooms themselves are definitely old and somewhat unclean. Good if you want to be close or city center - but would be nice if they could clean the rooms and showers a bit more thoroughly. The staff are are awesome tho!

Room was spacious and beautiful. Looked even better than in the pictures. Staff and owners were friendly. Gave lots of towels. We were steps away from chocolate stores and other great shops snd restaurants, and very close walk to Brussels town hall. Room had a very small fridge (could hold a few water bottles) and no microwave. Would stay here again.

Great location, courteous staff, charming smallish rooms. One of the best showers ever. Excellent breakfast on offer for only 12 Euros.

I would suggest providing tea or coffee facilities in the rooms.

This a very nice boutique hotel in a fantastic location. While the rooms are not large, it was all that was needed to enjoy the sights and dining options of Brussels.

Staff were very warm and friendly at all times. Location very good, only minutes to get to the Grand Place. Lots of restaurants and bars and cafes. Only thing that would have been nice would have been to have tea making facilities in the room.

Pleasant stay. Room doesn't have air conditioning and it was unseasonally hot so I made certain to open the windows wide whenever I could let cooler air in and have the curtains closed whenever the sun was on the room. I do wish the housekeeping staff wouldn't remove towels left on hooks - much better for the planet and contributes towards saving for the hotel which they could, of course, pass on to customers. Reception staff greeted every time I passed. I had a challenging time checking in as my flight was delayed (note, the number 12 bus from the airport doesn't take you into the city centre) and I arrived at the hotel after 1:00am. Staff were able to assist as I had already phone ahead from Heathrow to say I would be late. Location is great - just round the corner from Mannekin Pis and a short walk to Grand Place and Brussels Centraal Railway Station. Rooms are a little small but this is to be expected in capital cities in Europe.

Going to be as fair as possible since Sophie the hotel manager feels the need to read & respond to all reviews :). The good: The location of this hotel; Manneken-Pis, Palais de Bruxelles, Bruxelles-Centraal train station, and more, are all a short walk away. There's a plethora of restaurants & shops nearby. Never had a bad dining experience in the ones we visited. The staff are all friendly. Always greeted you, checked to see if you needed anything...one gentleman in particular (might've been the owner, not sure) asked us several times if there was anything he could do on our behalf, if our rooms needed cleaning, etc. Service was great. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable. The bad: The hotel has no A/C. I mean absolutely none, no central or window units. I understand A/C is not common in parts of Europe, or that it might be for ecological reasons, but it was 90°F humid weather during our stay. We would sweat even after taking a shower at night, it was that hot. The only relief was an old-fashioned standing fan (it didn't help). We asked about it before checking in, & were not answered until after our booking was non-refundable. The hotel shuts down during the summer...unfortunately, they forget to open the faucets when they reopen. There was air & dirty water in the pipes the first time we used them, which hit me in the face since I wasn't expecting it. The shower has no divider at the bottom, so water leaks out into the rest of the bathroom floor.

The staff are caring, kind, and considerate and went out of their way to make my stay very enjoyable. This is a family run hotel which makes for a friendly atmosphere. My room was clean, fresh, quiet, and comfortable. The location is perfect too. Blocks from the train station and the Grand Place. Highly recommended. Thank you! I'll be back!

Stayed for one night with my 2 grown up sons, had a triple room, everything was as expected, room was clean, comfortable and warm, check in was easy and polite, we arrived early and we're allowed to check in, would definitely recommend and use again when in Brussels

Nice cozy hotel stay right at the heart of Brussels city center and easy access to all sightseeing joints and food by foot. The hotel staff were helpful, professional and the room was clean and made our stay a memorable one. I recommend this hotel instead of the more expensive ones.

Wonderful location, very accessible from Brussels Central station and walkable to Grand Place and meeting location for day tours. The owner, his wife, and his staff were super nice and amenable. I would certainly recommend if you’re in Brussels for a short trip!

The hotel was clean and very centrally located. We walked there easily from the train station and it was close to key attractions like the Mannekin Pis. The staff were helping, letting us leave our luggage after check out and until we caught our next train.

We had an excellent experience in this well located hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious, everything functioned as it should, and the staff were very helpful. We arrived early, expecting to just drop off our bags for a while, but instead we were upgraded to a larger room that was ready for us and checked in early. The lovely manager also advised regarding our transport to airport the next day and made the arrangements for us. The location and amenities were great. Would certainly stay again!

Very convenient yet quiet location

This hotel is hard to get too, due to more tragic and congestion. The room was fine. Not fancy, but had all we needed. In Belgium it seems they don’t supply bath clothes or bar soap. Different then want we were used to. Very close to the Grand Place and lots of restaurants and shopping. Lots of tourist things to see nearby. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful!

Nous avons passés 2 nuits dans cet hôtel a l'occasion du nouvel an et nous avons ete ravis. L'emplacement est idéal, on peut tout faire à pied. Les petits dejeuner proposés sont copieux. La chambre est confortable.

A wonderfully located boutique hotel. Very courteous staff. Ample, if somewhat expensive, breakfast. Least expensive rooms are quite small but perfectly adequate.

I stayed here before in 2016 and it was as lovely now as it was then. Friendly staff, lovely rooms, warm welcoming lobby. Breakfast was perfect. Would recommend. Central and has a very safe feel.
