Quality Hotel Parklake Shepparton

Very convenient to the art gallery, big room with balcony so we could sleep with the screen insect closed and the door open, rather than use air conditioning. The quality of furniture and bedding was good, some traffic noise which we preferred to using air con. Easy off street parking, for which there was no charge. Would happily base myself here to explore the region.

We are a family of 4 and our stay has been so amazing. The best part is the sauna after a long and tiring day. Kids stayed in the spa as the indoor pool is very cold. We stayed in one of the grand suites and loooovvveeeddddd it. We had everything we needed in that room.

This is a good property to stay, however it had problems with the lift, and my wife has trouble with stairs and we on second floor, otherwise I do recommend this place.

I booked this motel as it had a lift and my daughter has mobility problems. The lift is only available during business hours. On Sunday it closed at 4.30pm was really inconvenient.

We loved the room, very spacious, clean and in great condition. Parking very easy and on site. Restaurant was OK, food was average and wine choice very limited. No bar to relax in.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, staff were friendly. Kids loved having the park and lake right across the road. The only negative, the pool was absolutely freezing!! I know it’s an indoor pool but some heating would be good. It meant that kids and adults were all crowded into the spa. Will definitely stay again though!

The first room I was provided had faeces splattered on a wall so I was given an upgrade and the second room was amazing. Unfortunately the porterhouse steak I ordered was completely dried out and virtually inedible.

Disappointing. We had not been alerted to current renovations going on. Bed was very soft causing back ache. Crockery was not cleaned and replaced overnight. fridge was unusually noisy overnight. Unfortunately there were very noisy guests until after midnight in the adjoining room.

Nice to ve upgraded to a downstairs king bed room, shame it was single glazed when right on the roadway (noise) Otherwise all good

Clean room Great welcome at reception. I wish the shower were more powerful. I would be great too if, when staying multiple days, the dirty mugs were replaced by clean ones. But for those little details, it wss a great quality stay.

Fridge was not cold

Everything is excellent except noise from top of building if stay on ground rooms.

The room itself was relatively clean, however there was no Netflix, no ability to cast to the tv from technology that had Netflix and the spa bath didn’t work. Not an enjoyable stay for nearly $200 a night

We Stayed in a grand suite which was a great size and was nicely furnished and modern. Had two big TVs, a microwave, fridge and kettle as well as a full complement of crockery which was a great touch. Unfortunately the sound proofing even for a back room (off the main road) isn’t great. Our room backed onto a car park and was quite noisy when cars came and there was also an extremely noisy generator that came on and off periodically which was very loud. The foot traffic past the suite door was also really audible and could disturb a light sleeper. Shower and bathroom were huge but very cold (could use it’s own heater) but the towels were soft and the amenities were nice. There were no robes which would be an easy thing to add particularly to the suite rooms. I would’ve also liked to book a room and breakfast rate but there wasn’t one which I thought was very odd for a decent hotel.

Staff were fabulous! My husband left his wallet in the draw when we checked out! I rang reception, they went and found it then expressed post it to our house! We are very thankful for their efforts!

We have stayed here before and it was great. It’s our first choice when we come to Shepparton. Check in staff were fabulous!

The check in and out staff was rude. She should Not be there becaues she did not customer care but simply applying the tules of the $200 fixed deposit rather how and why it is necessary to apply and when and how the deposit to be refunded. I think the hotel staff should inspect the room at check out whilst the guest is checking out.

Without any doubt the most impressive feature of our stay at the Park lake was the attitude of ALL the staff we met. Bar, Restaurant, Reception and Security staff we were lucky enough to deal with were AMAZING; friendliness 12/10, buoyant and happy 12/10, helpful 12/10. HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE !!

A comfortable and conveniently located place to stay whilst in Shepparton. The restaurant serves great food and the breakfast buffet was delicious! I chose Parklake for its proximity to the lake and it didn't disappoint.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that offered a mix of positives and a few drawbacks. Everything was conveniently located just around the corner, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. #Room Quality I found the room to be spacious, which was a delight. It provided enough comfort for a relaxing stay. #Staff The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, contributing significantly to our overall experience. Their warmth and willingness to assist made us feel welcome throughout our stay. #Dining We had lunch at the hotel, and it was both fresh and delicious. The quality of the food was impressive. However, breakfast was served as a buffet with limited options compared to other hotels in Victoria, especially considering the price we paid. This was a bit disappointing but not a deal-breaker. #Noise Issues One significant downside was our room's location. We were assigned a room facing the lake and the main road, which meant we could hear people playing and screaming in the park. The noise carried on until about 2 AM, which disrupted our sleep. It would have been great if the rooms were more soundproof to provide a better night’s rest. Overall, despite the noise issue and limited breakfast options, my stay was quite good. The combination of location, spacious rooms, friendly staff and tasty meals made it enjoyable.

Ideally situated and well appointed. Only downside was the outside bar area was noisy but this was because of the road not anything the hotel could have done. Definitely would stay again.

The place is in central location.

I have stayed at Hotel Park lake on a number of occasions and it has always been a very pleasant and easy to manage stay. It is well situated close to everything, easy for car access and has wonderful views over the lake.

The place is closed to shop and the lake across the road which is big bonus. Happy to recommend and definitely will be back.

Great place to stay, however, i don't recommend the restaurant as my steak with a seafood sauce was nowhere worth the money $58. It was a scotch belted out to a centermeter and dried out, the sauce had only two prawns. My wife's dinner was cold.

Good location, the restaurant was closed by 8pm on a Friday night tho, room was near the staircase and was noisy.

The 'happy hour' prices and the waiting staff attention to detail.

My grandson was excited for a swim in the pool but when we got there it was not heated (the middle of winter). The rooms were clean but dated and the bed was hard. Room service was not available after 8.15pm even though it was a Friday night and meals were still being ordered and served in the restaurant. The hotel demanded a $200 deposit or you could not stay so on top of paying $210 for the room it meant $410 had come out of my account before I even entered the room, unlike other accommodation where they just have a copy of your cc details. There are nearly 100 rooms at this hotel so if it is full that is $20,000 that the hotel is holding overnight - what do they do with this money? Overall a disappointing experience and I would not stay there again. Look elsewhere.

It is a pleasure to find a motel with a decent restaurant. It was hard to fault - good menu, friendly wait staff and pleasant ambience.
