Stayed at Movenpick for 5 nights whilst in Istanbul. Hotel was beautiful and clean and had a pleasant spa like smell as soon as you enter. Check in was easy and simple. Staff take a deposit of €100 which is refunded on check out if nothing is ordered/brought from hotel. We ordered a large bottle of water from the hotel as you get x2 small bottles for free every morning when room is made up. The large bottle we ordered cost us approx £5.70!! Definately buy your water bottles from convenience stores/ corner shops for around 50p-£1. We had a king bed which was lovely and comfortable. We had 2 pillows each one soft and one firm. The room had a AC/heater which worked perfectly and we could cool/warm the room up as and when we wanted. Bathroom was clean and nice. Towels, wet floor mat and slippers were given everyday when the room was cleaned and you can re-use your towels if you wanted as an eco-friendly option. We visited the spa/pool. You are required to wear swimming caps which we was not aware of so had to buy these when we arrived at the spa reception. The caps costed approx £8. The pool's temperature was noted to be 28 degrees but felt very very cold! I raised this with the spa reception staff who said the pool is kept between 27-28 degrees due to preventing bacteria to grow. The room was big and modern. We had a table, wardrobe, safe and sofa chair. Room was modern in design. The hotel is in a good location with a bus stop just 7-10 minute walk away.

There is no parking for this hotel. They do have someone who will take your car and park it for you in a private parking place away from the hotel. Its expensive. The process of giving them the car is not friendly. Too many security people in the lobby، kind of awkward. From the outside the hotel looks beautiful . The view from 17th floor was amazing but, the two windows in the room are too small. The breakfast is ok but you have to pay for it. The rooms are clean.

Great stay – very central and spotless! I stayed for 4 nights and was completely satisfied. The location is very central, perfect for exploring the city. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and cleaned daily. The spa and fitness area was also excellent – modern, well-equipped, and spotless, with attentive staff. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent stay, the hotel is well appointed and exceptionally clean. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and took care of our every request. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant on the lobby level and our server/bartender was exceptionally nice. The steam and sauna are great and perfect for a long day of site seeing. Overall we really enjoyed our time here.

Mixed feelings about this place. Positive is that the foyer area is really nice and there a many facilities. Negatives: I booked a twin room with city view and the room we had was good but bathroom small. We had to change rooms as during the night till morning we smelt cigarettes which was bad. After changing rooms we was given a room with no view , a TINIER bathroom with no space to move in the shower. After expressing my concerns to the guest relations Meltem? she called the room and said ‘so you want to move room again’ which made me feel like an inconvenience although moving the first time was not my choice. We did not move as it was too much hassle to pack again. Her attitude was unpleasant and not professional. The cleanliness was not the best , hair and dust on the floor and on our bed sheets. On the morning of checkout we went down at 7am for breakfast and I informed the waiter we will pay for it as we booked without. Middle of eating the waiter comes and leaves the check which I found so rude. He stood over us for fifteen minutes until he came back with the machine whilst we was still eating. I turned around and said ‘we will pay after we are done we will not run away’ to which he just laughed and did not apologise. This is extremely unprofessional. The location is OK not much around the building and at times it can be very hard to get a taxi. Even when you ask the doorman he tells you to use Uber which is not nice. A lot can be improved from their staffs attitude.

Fantastischer Aufenthalt im Mövenpick Hotel Bosphorus Istanbul! Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im Mövenpick Hotel Bosphorus in Istanbul in vollen Zügen genossen! Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets professionell – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Der Service ist durchgehend auf hohem Niveau – alle Anliegen wurden prompt und mit großer Sorgfalt behandelt. Die Zimmer sind erstklassig: sehr komfortabel, modern eingerichtet und vor allem makellos sauber. Die Betten bieten höchsten Schlafkomfort und werden täglich frisch gemacht – hier wird Hygiene wirklich großgeschrieben. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt absolut angenehm und entspannend. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

I am writing to share my experience during my stay from January 16th to 19th. My room was impeccably clean, spacious, and provided a highly comfortable environment. I particularly appreciated the excellent guest service; when I mentioned that the hairdryer in the room was underpowered, the staff promptly provided a high-performance one at no extra charge. It said it had aircondition and the rooms was very hot. Couldn’t sleep at night because of the heat for the sun and a lot of noice (the traffic outside). So I didn’t sleep for a week even though we changed rooms. I think you should be able to expect that a 5 star hotel has is aircondition on all year around even though it’s “only” spring. The area wasn’t good. It had a building in front of the hotel, which looked like it was a very poor neighborhood. The good restaurant on the top was very pretty, but people were allowed to smoke so you couldn’t enjoy the food properly, and when you left the restaurant you smelled of smoke. Not a nice experience and looking forward to come home and sleep in my own bed. Most say the staff were sweet though.

Room flooring needs an upgrade as they were stained and discolored. An iron should be added to room amenities which was not available.All TV features are disabled such as English subtitles and most options are not avaliable to turn on and cannot be changed to English. All TV options and features are in Turkish language. All TV channels are also in Turkish language. For Non Turkish speaking guests the tv is pretty much useless.

They charged me € 5,00 for something I have not consumed, I recognized when I checked my bank account. When I sent an email and asked what the € 5,00 are for, the guest relation employee said that I checked out pretty quick and they could not tell me that it is for a Coca Cola I have had. But I did not! I sent another email and told her that I did not take it and if they can do a refund. Since then I have not heard anything anymore. Seems to me that some employees are making some extra money with this. Maybe I am not the only one to whom it happened. Will be back in Istanbul soon but definitely not in this hotel.

Wir haben fünf Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht und waren besonders von der hervorragenden Lage begeistert: Die Anbindung an Metro, Metrobus, Havabus, Fähre sowie zahlreiche Buslinien ist ideal. So erreicht man in kürzester Zeit viele zentrale Stadtteile wie Eminönü, Beşiktaş, Ortaköy, Beyoğlu und sogar Bakırköy – bequemer geht’s kaum! Das Hotel selbst ist sehr sauber, ruhig und bietet eine angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre – perfekt zum Abschalten nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der lebendigen Stadt. Das Personal war stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der tägliche Service mit kostenlosem stillen Wasser in Glasflaschen – ein schönes Detail, das zeigt, wie sehr hier auf Qualität geachtet wird. Unser Zimmer im 7. Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The place was incredibly clean, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming — even though we arrived at midnight, someone was there to assist us and help us settle in. The room came well-equipped with essentials like a toothbrush and toothpaste, and it was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back in the future. The only downside is the location — it’s quite far from the city center and major attractions. We often had to take two buses to get where we wanted to go, and it’s not close to a metro station. However, there is a bus stop about an 8-minute walk away, so with a bit of planning, it’s still manageable. Overall, an excellent stay — clean, spacious, and top-notch service!

Great stay at this hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. Location was good with nearby Metro station and a possible longer walk down to Bosphorus. Breakfast was good with wide variety of options.

Very clean, safe, in a good area of town, the staff was very polite and friendly. The property has a beautiful restaurant on top of the building with magnificent views of the city and the Bosphorus. The lobby area restaurants are convenient, however a la cart menu a bit expensive compared to eating on local neighbourhoods. Even though there is a dedicated smoking section on one side of the ground floor restaurant, the smoke and smell of cigarettes permiates through out the lobby and reception area. It is almost impossible to avoid the smoke, unfortunatelly this applies to the room I was given, the smoke came to my room thru the AC vents. My room upgrade was not as good as I expected; a small room on the 3rd floor without significant views.
