Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport

was a airport shuttle to and from the airport. and wonderfull breakfast, room was wonderful had a tub, king size bed, lots of space in the room, has a gym. staff was very friendly and helpfull.

Gym was good. Access to airport was excellent. Staff was great. Restaurant food and service was very good.

The hotel was really nice, the room was very comfortable and the bar and restaurant was really good.

O ônibus gratuito sai do terminal 3, porta 3, mas no subsolo, onde tem a placa azul com o nome do hotel, de 15 em 15 minutos por 24 horas !!! Cama excelente, banheiro amplo, ótimo café da manhã e boas opções para o jantar. Não tem piscina, mas banheiro com banheira. Máquina de gelo nos andares. Local silencioso e tranquilo.

Convenient location to the airport. Quick and east check in. Restaurants and bar were good and lively. Room was clean and adequate for a one night stay before heading home. Shuttle service every 15 minutes and no charge. We took the 4am to FCO.

Gym needs updating.

The Hilton Garden Inn Rome airport is a clean, quiet hotel to hang out at before or after your flight. We stayed here for our last night in Italy before flying home the next day. The rooms are clean and quiet and the WiFi is good. The restaurant is surprisingly good. We had our last meal in Italy here before returning home and it was quite good. Standard breakfast in the morning. Plentiful parking in the front of the hotel for your rental car. If you are looking for a good start to your travel day, this is the place to stay.

The staff were all wonderful. Check-in was easy. But the lobby, bar and restaurant have all the charm on the hospital cafeteria. When we went through the doors to the area where the elevator is for the room, everything seemed tired and old. There was a few scraps of paper on the floor in the elevator. Not very welcoming.

When we arrived we asked about validating parking, we were told when we checked out to bring them the ticket and they would validate it, that was a lie I will explain more soon. We go up to our room and key cards will not work, my husband goes back down and the lady says you put the key cards too close to your phone and he explains no I didn’t. She comes back up with two new cards, plus the ones we had finally on 4th card it opens. We change clothes and leave and something just told me to check the card again on the card reader, it did not work. We were locked out of the room. We go down stairs and new lady is at the counter we tell her about situation when we arrived she then again tells us we had cards to close to phone and we explain no we didn’t. She says it has to be it that there is nothing wrong with the lock. My husband goes back up to the room alone and leaves his cell phone with me and the cards don’t work. The lady then makes two more cards and this time I go with her and the door will not open and she doesn’t once apologize. She then call’s maintenance and tells us to go back to room and maintenance. Will meet us up there. Maintenance showed up he tried couldn’t get it unlocked. Finally replaced the batteries and then the card start working, no appologizes. At check out they charge us $21 for parking and I say we should be comped for the inconvenience at check in. The girl the mumbles something to coworker and they both laugh. So rude and disrespectful.

No pool, sofa bed was in bad conditions i had to put my luggage under the sofabad to make the bed more firm. Cheap mattress and pillows.

The hotel is old and moldy, water was leaking from the ceiling on the 4th floor. There is a sliding door near the reception that requires the room key, and I was never able to make it work. When I told one of the hotel staff that they should replace it with something more modern and functional, they shrugged with an attitude. Our room was claustrophobic and smelled like urine. The only good thing about it is convenience

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Great breakfast assortment. Restaurant was top notch. Highly recommended.

Our bathtub had lint, black stuff and hairs in it when we got to our room. I tried to call the desk but no answer. I went to the front desk and complained. They didn't apologize but said they would send someone to clean it. I asked if they were going to give me an adjustment on my bill. They said "no". It was pre-paid. A guy did come and clean the bath tub but also did not offer an apology. It was gross!

Convenient location close to airport with airport shuttle however our king sized bedroom had a terrible strong urine smell. Recommend that Bathrooms need better cleaning using food smelling disinfecting cleaners. It made our stay unpleasant as the smell came from the bathroom into our sleeping area.

Everything was spotless and they had our breakfast ready to go since we left before @ 5am

Airport shuttle was handy. Rooms were very noisy and can hear people above you. Rooms felt like dorm rooms and I found the bathroom was dated and mould in the shower.

Das Zimmer war dreckig. Nicht richtig geputzt und überall Staub Ausserdem lag im Schrank eine verschimmelt Tüte mit einem verschimmelten Sandwich da.

Fabulous stay! Exceptionally clean room, great staff, and good location. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Rome that needs a spot by the airport.

Everything was fine except for a high pitched sound throughout the night.

Clean and efficient. Good restaurant and breakfast. Good bed. Convenient to the airport with a free shuttle. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is a problem common with many hotels. Poor pillow quality and using small pillows on a king bed vs king pillows on a king bed.

Staff is wonderful. For the rate and amenities - hotel experience was over priced. Hilton of this caliber price rate should not feel like staying in a clean but outdated hotel. Pro though is the easy access and frequency of the shuttle bus to and from terminal 3.

The food and service was excellent and breakfast was also very good. They have a shuttle that runs every 15 minute to the airport which was very convenient. Overall good airport hotel.

Very basic hotel. Only stayed due to flight. Room was clean and had basic necessities. Shuttle to airport was a commuter / parking lot bus. Not bad, but not expected level of service.

The room was clean and of decent size. The problem was they did not do a good job of soundproofing the room which is right off a runway. The other issue is the shower - nice and powerful, but only a half glass wall to keep the water in. I wound up using every towel in the bathroom to mop up water that came out. The bus ride from the airport is actually a bit long despite being so close, there are actually multiple stops along the way. It worked for what I needed, an early flight the next morning and some sleep. OK, but nothing special.

Very dated hotel with hard mattresses, flat pillows and no working AC. Felt like a economy hotel not one worth almost $400 USD

Staff was rude at check in. We were lost at the airport, trying to find the shuttle and how to get to hotel for 2hrs Front desk hung up on me times

Very courteous, helpful staff, but it took 3+ trips to the front desk - and running through a total of 7 different electronic keys - to get into our room for the first time. Later, after completing an errand outside the hotel, we found our room keys again inoperative and had a mini-repeat of the check-in fiasco. It should have been obvious that our assigned room’s lockset was defective and we should have been assigned a different room from the get-go! Otherwise, the rest of our overnight was fine.

Most everything was fine. The airport shuttle system could be a bit more user friendly -- this is the first hotel shuttle that I have taken (and there are quite a few) that the driver offered no help with luggage nor with information about which way to proceed once at the airport. He did not even greet us - not a word.

Check in at the hotel was slow, 20 minutes. At first, there was only one person at the front desk.

We went to the restaurant in the hotel. At first we were greeted with a smile. After being seated a lot of time went by. The waitress with short brown hair finally came up to us didn't say hi or anything. Basically threw bread at us and kept going, no eye contact, didn't stop to see if we were ready order or wanted drinks. About 30 mins later came back for our order and never checkef on us again. Someone else brought out the food. Blonde hair and was nice. We had to go to the counter to pay. The same waitress with brown hair, acted like we didn't exist and again ignored us. Another person came, so we could pay. By the way, paying for bread we didn't ask for and crappy service is not right, but it was on the bill. If we had other options we would have gotten up and left.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating

The staff at the front desk were amazing! Even the restaurant staff were so pleasant and helpful. The free airport shuttle was so convenient. They are available 24/7 every 10 to 15 minutes. The rooms were clean and service was great. If I ever go to Rome again I would definitely stay here.

We had a comfortable night's rest. The bedding was excellent. The powder's scrambled eggs were not very good. An omelet station would be better. Better instructions on the website and reservation confirmation would be helpful. We walked to the wrong Hilton due to signage at the airport.

The entire experience was wonderful except using the airport shuttle to get to the hotel. Information provided by the hotel should have specified what the pick-up schedule was and let us know whether we needed to contact the hotel or just wait for a shuttle to appear (in the appropriate area). We wasted ½ hour looking for information and finally went to the on-site Hilton (different) for help. They kindly drove to the Hilton Garden Inn and the person that drove us laughed when I asked if we were the only person who had difficulty finding the Garden Inn.

Beware!!! this is NOT the hotel located IN the airport - it’s a 15 minute bus ride from the airport terminals

It’s a very close hotel to the airport & they have a free shuttle. The front desk personnel is friendly & helpful.

The hotel is convenient for its location to the airport. We had an early morning flight the next morning, which made our stay quick and easy. Note: the shuttle from the hotel is the airport shuttle, so there were stops along the way to pick up passengers from the parking areas.

Location was good for airport access but there was no dining available when we were headed for dinner. The taxi to & from a restaurant in Fiumicino cost more than our meal itself — and we even had a full bottle of wine. As for the free shuttle - why is the signage so bad? It took us forever to find the stop, and then once we found it, we were looking for a bus that had Hilton Garden Inn signage. But we never did. Finally after waiting for close to 45 minutes, someone told me that we had to get the green bus. In hindsight, we had watched quite a number of green busses go by us, but we had no idea they were our shuttle. Why isn’t that little piece of information provided anywhere? It’s not even noted on the official hotel website. Additionally, who in their right mind has an airport shuttle that has no dedicated section for luggage? Everyone on those busses was trying to accommodate larger check-in baggage on a seat next to them, thus reducing the number of seats available for other passengers. Simple put, we’ll never stay at this hotel again.

Expedia needs to make location clearer. There are 2 Hiltons at the airport. It would’ve been helpful to know we had to take a bus.

It is right at the FCO airport with a shuttle but far away from historic sites and expensive to get to downtown Rome.

Great room and hotel. Very difficult to find if you are in the airport. There are two Hiltons in the airport, and can be tricky to navigate.

Great place. Breakfast great, but cost almost 40 euros for the three of us. No option for dinner except this hotel’s restaurant as there was nothing nearby. The dinner was good, but as with the breakfast, quite expensive. The staff was super friendly and efficient.

The food served on the breakfast buffet was cold. Bacon was basically raw. Our dinner meal was not great. The room was average but it was fine for a two day stay.

Easy commute to the airport. Dining room crowded- hard to get seated.
