Stayed 7 nights, property tidy, a bit musty when we first opened superior room opened curtains let the sun in cleared the musty smell. Room large towels etc renewed each day. Hotel walkable distance to central city plus tube outside main doors. Excellent to get anywhere, Bought the breakfast package , excellent, pool we used daily also excellent with well equipped gym. Singapore very hot and humid this time of year the pool was essential,.

Unfortunately the pool was closed due to renovations but they did organise a shuttle to their sister hotel about 15 mins away. The concierge was SO helpful and all the staff were very friendly. Bathroom has the rainfall shower heads, beds were comfy and clean. Train station just outside and pretty central to everything I wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay. A bit tired but clean. The pool was closed due to exterior work being done which was a pain but they did pay for the taxi to and from their sister hotel so we could use their pool.

Older but great hotel with very large ( by Singapore std ) rooms. Excellent staff. ( Got us early check in ).Great outdoor pool . Perfect location if using public transport. Adj to 3 MRT stations and a large mall. Many food options locally . Note : Beds and pillows are VERY hard, which we love but may not be to everyone's taste. Only complaint. Lighting for the bathroom mirror is very dim - hard for women to put see to put make up on. Putting on make up by torch light is not easy.

We wouldn't have booked the Club Floor, it was a total disappointment. The Club lounge is tiny, mold on the ceiling, what a sight! The only good that came with the Club access rate is the inclusion of buffet breakfast at the restaurant. Other than the main lobby, the rest of the hotel is showing age. By the way, someone may want to supervise the cleaning lady at the club level. When she came to clean our room, she had someone on speaker, chatting away while cleaning. Unbelievable.

The hotel is comfortable, cosy, and luxurious. If you look closely, you will find accumulated dust at the aircon inlet vents, under the desk, that are not usually noticed. Apart from the dust, ventilation is also weak. I found the bathroom still wet in the morning, like someone just took a shower before I wake up. So, if you do your own laundry and wanted to dry them in the room, you'll likely find them still wet by the end of your stay. The hotel follows some green policy and asks the guests to reuse the towels. So, I hang them up to show I can reuse them, but when I'm back by the end of the day, they were replaced with fresh towels. There is no USB charging port in the room, make sure to bring your own charger.

This hotel has a superb location, close to everything. The inside was very moldy, I mean the rooms were full of mold, you can see it. It’s black and it’s everywhere. You can read other reviews that talk about the same issue. When we talked to the manager, he was very nice, he gave us a different room that was not as moldy, but still moldy. He offered free breakfast and late checkout. I’m honestly surprised that they allow the hotel to operate with these conditions

Great location. Short walk from Bencoolen street MRT and several others nearby. Concierge very helpful. However on arrival female receptionist repeatedly and loudly asked myself and my same sex partner if we required separate beds. I answered that we did not require separate beds (we had booked a double room NOT a twin room) but she then repeated the question- I began to think she had a problem with our answer. Not a pleasant experience on arrival! My advice to her is not to make assumptions and give people what they book!! We were paying for a service after all!! All the other staff we encountered on reception during our stay for 3 nights were friendly and helpful so it was a shame she was the first staff member we met as this left us with a very poor impression. The gym and pool were ok - not very modern but fit for purpose. This hotel lets itself down on a lack of attention to detail in the standard room - we ordered a standard Queen. Grubby carpets, marks on walls, skirting boards and furniture. The bathroom was adequate with some decent water pressure in the shower. We booked it because it was one of the cheapest we could find and it was very near MRTs near the tourist hotspots. So, if things like grubbiness don’t bother you I’m sure you’ll like it.

Great location. Slightly tired. Room carpets need replacing. We mentioned to the front desk on arrival that our room smelt damp and her reply was yes they all are. Water dripping from air conditioning units all round the hotel . The weather in Singapore is obviously humid but we have stayed in humid environments before without these problems . Great concierge.

large old hotel in very convenient location. Check in and concierge staff are very helpful and efficient. The room I stayed in was large enough and quiet. But compared to other hotels in the price range the rooms are aging a bit. Particularly the carpet should be changed or better yet replaced with wood laminate which many mid range hotels are using now in renovated rooms.

Hotel was ok not given the room again on what we booked. They said it was yet again an upgrade to a club benefit room but did not offer the benifit so ??? Rooms are very very small. Shower was not great . Very average hotel tbh.

Really excellent! Great room, everything was new and great quality! Pool was great! Breakfast was very good! The staff was excellent -- there were a number of small problems with the room (electrical outlets and safe not working and clock set to wrong time (could not be adjusted). For each problem, they sent someone immediately who fixed the problem quickly (reset breaker, replaced safe battery, reset clock). I didn't bother getting the bidet control panel fixed since I could use the basic functions. I would definitely stay in this property again -- the location was incredibly convenient to the MRT, and it was just a beautiful place to stay!

Our room had damp, the wallpaper was peelng very small and dark, no storage. Windows were filthy. They had blowers in the hallways, not sure why but the smell was horrible. The naid changed the towels and didnt close our door properly, it was left open all day, could easily have been robbed. No cafe available in the morning, it was 55sgd for a breakfast. Over priced and over rated.

Great location, walkable to museums, symphony, shopping. Close to transit. Clean and comfortable room. Great AC which is important in Singapore. Property in public areas looking a bit shabby - frayed carpets, etc. Unfortunately my room was right next to the pool so curtains closed most of the time. Overall a good stay though not sure it would be a four star in US.

Friendly staff. Great room. Comfy bed, with large soft pillows. Very clean. Metro very close. 2 lines infact. One right outside hotel. Don't worry, you can't hear it. 7/11 store within hotel. Would definately stay here again & would recommend it 100%.

When we checked in, after we showed them our passport the front desk told us to wait for five mins at the lounge. We waited for over 30mins but no one came so I went to the front desk and told that we are still waiting for the room key to another staff and she gave me the key in a second. I guess they totally forgot about us and it was so disappointing. We just want to take a rest after the long flight. The housekeeping staff and other staff were nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool and gym. If you use MRT, Bencoolen station is right around the corner and Dhoby goaut station is close and useful.

Was expecting more based on the listing - unfortunately was let down by the front line service and that the fit out of the property. We had a pretty confusing check in, being told to go up to the 11th floor, having to wait for about 20 mins to get checked in (despite being the only ones there). Management did a good job once they were made aware and made up for it, which we were very appreciative for. The property itself felt fatigued unfortunately. Excess perfume was used on floor 10 as soon as you got to the elevators, which was very overpowering. The room, whilst spacious - our second night had a constant noise (that sounded like muffled voices) throughout the night which meant that we weren't very rested. It's unfortunately, as the team genuinely seemed to want to make the stay feel nice, just feels like a misstep in the overall experience.

Avoid this property completely. The staff is terrible, they don't answer the phone. Housekeeping would often forget to make my room. The hotel is in need of remodel. Location is great but not clean or friendly hotel. I think the owner has let go of the hotel and might not be paying the staff. Upon arrival they could not even find my reservation through expedia. It took them full 24 hrs to find it. Just a horrible stay. Lots of other options available but avoid this hotel.

Our hotel stay has been extremely amazing. The staff at the club lounge are friendly and helpful and we feel so welcomed. A special shoutout to these three staff who have been so awesome, Sofie, Yamani & Dayang. The food served are fresh and delicious, with a fair variety. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the exclusive feeling. We love the junior suite room that was assigned to us on Level 10. It is spacious, and we were lucky to catch a wonderful view of the national day (rehearsal) fireworks. The sofa could be converted into a sofa bed and the bathroom is fantastic. It is a large bathroom with a bathtub, a separate shower and the toilet bowl has a bidet washlet mechanism and heated seats. Love the rainshower and massage spray functions too. Simply amazing!

Great hotel for a few days in Singapore. Next to the metro stop ( you cannot hear it in the hotel) so really easy to get to and from the airport and to visit the main tourist spots. Short walk to Canning Fort, Raffles etc. Small 7/11 just outside the hotel. Helpful staff, nice comfortable room, great location.

Friendly staff. Great room. Comfy bed, with large soft pillows. Very clean. Metro very close. 2 lines infact. One right outside hotel. Don't worry, you can't hear it. 7/11 store within hotel. Would definately stay here again & would recommend it 100%.

Older but great hotel with very large ( by Singapore std ) rooms. Excellent staff. ( Got us early check in ).Great outdoor pool . Perfect location if using public transport. Adj to 3 MRT stations and a large mall. Many food options locally . Note : Beds and pillows are VERY hard, which we love but may not be to everyone's taste. Only complaint. Lighting for the bathroom mirror is very dim - hard for women to put see to put make up on. Putting on make up by torch light is not easy.

We often choose Rendezvous Hotel when we visit Singapore. It is very conveniently located, close to Plaza Singapura, the bus line, and MRT. There is a convenient food centre next door and a 7-11 downstairs. The housekeeping staff does an admirable job. They are responsive to guest requests.

I have stayed here several times in the past when I have visited Singapore. The hotel itself remains great, for location, cleanliness and staff. This time however i was very disappointed in the breakfast. The usual breakfast space was close as i believe there are doing renovations. There was very little choice in the buffet this time. It was mostly South Asian foods, which i can understand as a lot of Indians do stay there. However this is not something that i enjoy. I will have to consider all this in any future trips i make to Singapore.

Wonderful stay…shout out to Rosley(concierge) he was excellent.Directed us how to take the bus and Subway to China town(could walk but time restraint)wee got an early checkin…booked on club room floor which provided a lounge for beverages all day and from 6-8pm snacks and beverages.The buffet breakfast was fabulous…everything your could imagine …fresh fruit so good.There is a pool but we were unable to use.Definitely you have to stay here!The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful.Desmond at front desk checked us in and the young fellow managing the club floor made the best refreshing drinks.

Really excellent! Great room, everything was new and great quality! Pool was great! Breakfast was very good! The staff was excellent -- there were a number of small problems with the room (electrical outlets and safe not working and clock set to wrong time (could not be adjusted). For each problem, they sent someone immediately who fixed the problem quickly (reset breaker, replaced safe battery, reset clock). I didn't bother getting the bidet control panel fixed since I could use the basic functions. I would definitely stay in this property again -- the location was incredibly convenient to the MRT, and it was just a beautiful place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose the Club Room which was well worth all the extras, breakfast was amazing. Great location, easy access to public transport. Many attractions within walking distance. Staff were fabulous and eager to help. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect for 3 nights family of 4 in two adjoining rooms. Room a bit outdated but otherwise comfortable and fine. Great central location, right near bus and train stations but we used taxi a lot as was a quicker option in a lot of cases for us. The kids loved cooking off in the pool after our adventures out. Buffet breakfast was good too.

The rooms, staff and checkout was great. They are able to store luggage for you if you need to check out before your flight leaves. They provided a room to change and shower in when you pick up your luggage which was a big added bonus. The 4 star rating was due to the buffet breakfast. We did not like the food at all except for the toast, yogurt and fruit.

The property is a little tired but the location more then makes up for it. Being a slightly older property means decent sized rooms. Walkable to so many attractions. Make sure you walk to the other side of Fort canning and visit the bakery for breakfast- great selection of pastries. Plenty of food options around - there is a food court across street for cheap food options. Skip the hotel breakfast - over priced, cold, limited selection and indifferent staff. Pool area is nice - gets sun only from around 9- 2pm, but still enjoyable. Would recommend
