Hotel Mi Bencoolen

I chose this hotel because the cost was attractive and because it was steps away from a MRT station (Bencoolen on the Downtown line). It was within walking distance of Clarke Quay and Orchard Road. It is not in downtown, but it was close enough for my needs. The hotel was clean and well-kept. The room, while small, was comfortable and met my expectations for the stay. Wifi worked well and the safe and fridge were useful during my stay. I also appreciated the ice machine on the ground floor, however the hotel did not provide breakfast. I was fine without having breakfast at the hotel given the prevalence of hawker stalls in nearby Little India and Chinatown, as well as good restaurants nearby, although this may not be convenient for others. The laundry facilities were convenient although I did not use them. Same with the pool. Overall, the hotel was good value and well situated, so I would certainly consider staying at this property again in the future.

Very small room and bathroom. Had a lot of background noise. The bed actually sleeps only two people max.
