Llegando nos informaron que no habia agua caliente, que en la tarde quedaba listo pero al día siguiente aún no había y después supe que era un problema que tenia 3 dias sin resolver, pedi mi reembolso por los tres dias que aun me quedaban y me lo regresaron sin problema, eso fue lo bueno.

I have been using Hotel Colon Plaza for years. It is a nice hotel and parking is secure. The restaurant has excellent food and the bar is a quiet and enjoyable place to have a relaxing drink. The only problem was that there was no English Channels to watch the NEWS or movies. There used to have several channels with English shows and NEWS Channels.

A/C in the room was not working properly. Pool was nasty and the pool area needs so much attention. Sheets in my room were not changed to clean sheets, so I left the hotel. Looks like the hotel had good days, but now needs a make over and cleaning.

This property has clean and safe parking area. The rooms are comfortable. A few tips for travelers unfamiliar with hotels constructed before 2015. It takes a few minutes for hot water to come to the showers. A few cups of water can be poured into the floor drains in the bathroom and shower floors to keep odor from coming out when the exhaust fan is operated.

Las sabanas de las camas estaban sucias y se veía que no era de días sino semanas habia vellos y cabellos entre las sabanas, ofrecen servicio de internet y nunca pude ver la televisión porque no cargaba el Internet. Estabamos descansando en la tarde en nuestra habitación y las camareras abrieron la puerta entraron y dijeron ah aquí no es! y volvieron a cerrar invadiendo totalmente nuestra privacidad y un día nos quedamos sin agua por 2hrs y como salimos no sé si fue por más tiempo.

muy mala experiencia: mi habitación con la alfombra super sucia con polvo y pintura blanca, super descuidado el cuarto, la cortina estaba caída, la televisión no servía se iba constantemente la señal, manchas de origen dudoso en las toallas y sabanas. Sentí que me estaba quedando en un motel, el servicio de la cafetera estaba todo sucio, el pasillo de las habitaciones igual con la alfombra sucia con manchas blancas.... no le quieren invertir a la imagen, a mi parecer. Pésimo en verdad, se nota que en sus tiempos fue un muy buen hotel pero ya esta quedando en el olvido, muy descuidado. Y como cereza del pastel el personal de RECEPCION deja mucho que desear, en definitiva no volvería a hospedarme aquí.

It took me 25 minutes to check into 3 rooms. When I walked up there was only one person ahead of me. This property has a restaurant on the lobby floor that has a buffet. The food is fabulous. The waitress was less than helpful. The locales knew the ins and outs of how to request items so we just did what they did. Our rooms were on the 2nd floor which they call the 1st floor🤔. On our second night, the live music was so loud I could hear the words of the songs not just the vibrations. The music was good but it didn’t finish until 1:15am. So I didn’t sleep well. The hotel is situated in front of a traffic light so traffic is heard until it slows down. The cleanliness of hotel was a three because it’s property cosmetic repairs. The maids were friendly, helpful with towels and working to clean the rooms.

Me gusto que a pesar de llegar antes de la hora del check-in, el staff nos permitio estar en el area general y hasta hizo acomodaciones para que nos entregaran nuestro cuarto antes de la hora esperada. Muy limpio, ordenado y tienen staff amable y responsivo. Gracias por una estancia comoda y por su hospitalidad. I liked that even though we arrived prior to check-in time, the staff allowed us to be in the lobby and even made accommodations so they could provide us our room before the time we expected. Very clean, in order, and attentive and friendly staff. Thank you for a comfortable stay and for your hospitality.

El servicio fue pésimo. Desde la llegada se solicitó un refrigerador por necesidad de mantener en frío medicamento. Se negó el servicio aunque se estaba dispuesto a pagar más por el servicio o por el cambio de habitación. Los recepcionistas sin empatía para quien solicitaba el servicio y su supervisor tampoco. Nada de intención de apoyar al huésped.

I have stayed at Plaza Colon multiple times a year since it opened. This time I was disappointed, There was no body soap in the bathroom, only one glass I was told that there was a $20 pesos deposit for the glass and $10 peso charge for the plastic ones. There was a coffee pot with packages of coffee but no condiments for the coffee. I asked and was told there were none available. I reported to the receptionist that there was a water leak from the air condition and it was already causing damage to the wallpaper. I still like this hotel for the location and the security. The room was clean and the staff were very courteous! The restaurant as always excellent service and food.

This hotel is perfect for a quick business trip to the US Consulate General for any Visa issuance meetings, interviews or requirements, as it is just a mile away. The Triskele restaurant serves up great dishes, and the hotel is clean, quiet and cozy.
