Overall, I would recommend the hotel. Its location was great, right next door to the metro. Grand Place, Mannequin Pis and Bruxelles Palace and Museums are all walkable. There are also lots of shops and fast food on your doorstep. The hotel itself has a good gym and bar area. The room had a little fridge which was great for keeping my milk and water cool. If you don’t want your room made up each day you can hang a sign on your day and they give you a 5 euro voucher to spend in the bar/restaurant or donate to a local charity. I particularly liked this as I don’t like being disturbed by housekeeping when I’m on holiday. I gave mine to charity and had the added bonus of feeling good about myself for doing it. The only thing I would raise is the fact that my bathroom door didn’t shut. It had no mechanism within the door to allow it to remain closed which was strange. However, I didn’t raise it with reception so they had no chance to resolve it whilst we were there. I couldn’t be bothered to change rooms. But I’m assuming that housekeeping must have noticed before allocating us the room. Overall a great hotel and I would stay there again.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and a good size. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch. The bar area was very nice with areas to relax, others too watch TV as well as a pool table and shuffle board. The bar staff were excellent while the reception staff were generally good but occasionally disinterested. Reviews we read says that the area wasn't that safe, dinner of the nearby dude starts looked inviting at night but the main road in front of the hotel was fine and had a selection of places to eat. During the day, it was a safe 5 minute walk to reach the shopping area and around 15-20 minutes to the grand place and other tourist areas. The car park under the hotel was a little tricky to find at night but it was well lit inside and felt safer than many car parks we've used. We would certainly stay here again.

Convenient location, next to the Metro Rogier. less than 10 min walk from Brussels NOrth Station (one station from the airport). Many restaurants in 5-10 min walk and nice area to walk around. Small and large grocery stores to get fruits, snacks and drinks are all nearby. Only complain is the opening hour of the gym on 29th floor. It is open at 7 am. Several people were waiting before 7 am to use the facility. It should be open at 6 or even earlier. THere is no body to physically open the door.. Simply electronic control. It should be easy to change the opening hours.

The good stuff: Staff were friendly and the amenities were good! I really liked that there was the option to buy drinks/snacks/meals to go in the lobby area. The sauna upstairs was great, and the bar and lounge area was nice too. Bedroom and bathroom were both spacious, clean and well furnished. Downsides: The heating control was non-existent and we couldn’t sleep without the window open. Even with the window open, woke up covered in sweat. The noise proofing is poor too, and we could hear all of our neighbours. Mattress wasn’t great and ended up with some back pain.

The hotel is well presented, clean and spacious with plenty of amenities and services available to guests. Things not normally offered at hotels such as a games room, a bar with a shop, nespresso machines in the rooms etc. Even a gym and sauna. My only issues were that despite the later checkout than most hotels, housekeeping still came in without warning 2 hours before we were required to checkout. Also, the hotel is large and while there are 4 main lifts, they are tiny and so it takes a while to get a lift, and then longer to get to the floor you want as it keeps stopping. Other than that we had no issues. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were pleasant. We made use of the luggage storage which was helpful too. Overall would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again if i was ever in brussels as the location as well as all the other things i mentioned were great.

The staff was courteous and the hotel lobby area is nice. My gripe with this hotel was my room. The “carpet” was dirty (I don’t believe they vacuum) and the bathroom was less than desirable due to the stains in the bathtub, chipped tile & a broken stopper.

Stayed 4 nights in room 1503. Poor and arrogant service in the reception. The bed was nice, the room was clean and I appreciated the option of not having dayly cleaning. However, I Got an unwanted present with me back Home in the form of bed bucks. I have stayed in many hotels in BXL over the years, but never had issues with bed bucks before.

The big problem was that massive noise from a construction site started at 7am. Poor noise insulation of windows made that even on the 17th floor is was like building was happening in the room

The room was spacious, however we kept hearing what sounded like someone banging on pipes all night. We were on one of top floors and could hear all the traffic and sirens on the street below. There was a lot of homeless in the area. There is on site paid parking on the back side of the hotel. The hotel is in a convenient area, close to the sites

We started really bad as at the reception, when I asked where do we have breakfast, this lady at the reception called Maria, immediately said that breakfast was not included in our plan, which was incorrect as breakfast was the cardinal condition for our choosing the room. In fact it was stated in the confirmation that breakfast was included. She told us that it was not recorded as such in the exchanges between expedia (I thought it was Hotels.com, but I suppose you are making money by selling our data) and the hotel. We showed the confirmation and Maria would still not believe and kept us for a good half an hours. i told that this is a problem between you (the hotel) and expedia and even if we the customer wait for anything we cannot add any contribution. I asked her if there was a remote possibility that we don’t get breakfast, she had difficulties in replying to this simple question. She said if we paid we’ll get it however that is out of the question as we paid and the confirmation stated as such and her doubt never went away, is it because we are Japanese and she is a racist? She finally gave us the hotel card with a check on breakfast included, however in the morning we were rejected and went to the reception again. The manager was very helpful and he issued the coupons and told us that he would resolve the issue with you or expedia, which is what should have been done in the first place. That really ruined the beginning of an otherwise great holiday in brussels.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were initially sent to a room that was already occupied. When we finally got a different room, we discovered that the air conditioner was broken—on the hottest day of the year. We reported it immediately, but the issue wasn't resolved that day. The following morning at 9 AM, a maintenance worker rudely banged on our door repeatedly, disturbing us after a sleepless night in the sweltering heat. To make matters worse, the air conditioner was finally repaired just two hours before we were supposed to check out. What was the point?

Hotel is overall nice though the breakfast is really overpriced for 26 eur. I did “file” a complaint in the morning of my check out because one night someone just opened my door at 01:00 AM in the morning. I was confused and thought i dreamt. Minutes later the reception called me asking me if i was mister “X”, and said that that someone dropped chocolates in my room. I told him thats not me and he just said “well now u have chocooates! How can they just allow someone enter my room at 1AM? Why would u call someones room at 1AM? The lady at the reception couldnt care less either and just said yeah we can make these thpe of mistakes when some organizers want to do sth special for their guests… really? The hotel itself and its amenities however r fine, staff could be better trained m. (The “chocolate” was some cheap industrial muffin filled with bad chocolate not even from Belgium, so disappointing too)

Our stay at Thon Brussels Hotel from August 17th to 19th was a huge letdown. As a pregnant guest, I was hoping for comfort but instead faced multiple issues. First, we were given a room that was already occupied. Then, we were plagued by loud noises from the radiator in second room assigned to us, which kept us up all night. We moved to a third room, which was even worse. All in a space of 2 nights, 2 nights of no sleep and with being heavily pregnant. It was so bad. The staff's response was inadequate, waking us early on the morning of our checkout. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had, far below what you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

We loved the hotel!! Easy check in, helpful, friendly staff, and a fun bar area with a pool table and shuffle board available!!! The area was very walkable to the shopping street, Grand Place, and public transport. I definitely recommend this hotel to all!!

A very personal hotel in a prime location, inexpensive underground parking and great views from the upper floors. Above all, very friendly staff in all areas and David is the best receptionist I have ever met. A good brand ambassador for Thon hotels. I will be happy to come back!

Broken shower that was 'fixed' promptly the evening we arrived, however items went missing from the room. Staff were not interested and were very dismissive. Turns out the shower wasn't actually fixed as we found out the following morning.

Nice, practical room for business travel, no complaints. I particularily liked the working desk and the coffee capsulte machine in the room. The room was clean and relatively new, so little wear & tear. Fitness center is ok, but a bit small for such a large hotel, on one day it was entirely full. Would be great if it would open at 06:00 instead of 07:00. Breakfast had a very wide selection, good bread, good fruits. My only complaint is that the scrambled eggs were not good.

Lieu très central et intéressant. L'insonorisation est à revoir dans les chambres, les étages en hauteur ne suffisent pas à combler le simple vitrage. Le service d'étage n'est pas non plus très silencieux. Au niveau du petit déjeuner, c'est un buffet très sympa avec beaucoup de choix. Le personnel de salle devrait être un peu plus attentif aux demandes des clients.

Das Hotel ist vom Style wie ein Business Hotel konzepiert. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sauber, das Frühstück absolut kalsse und liess keine Wünsche offen. Verschiedene Fischsorten, Schrimpssalat, Gemüse, Obst (Salat), Variation aus Conti Frühstück und mediterran... Ist im grossen und Ganzen wirklich zu empfehlen.
