We spent two nights at this location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We down graded for location and parking. The parking was limited and very tight. The location is across from a mall off a one way street requiring a u-turn to turn into the hotel. Our stay was very pleasant.

Only reason I booked this place was for the EV charging station that they say they have and I could not use it because it was for Telsas and they did not offer adaptor. Could not have used it anyways because the owner had is Telsa plugged there. I had to drive 10 miles away to find a charger for my car. When I parked my car in the lot after I charged it (the person at the front desk told me to park anywhere, but then called my room to ask to move my car cause another Tesla nedeed to park where I was parked. The car belonged to a friend of the owner clearly cause he went in the employee only door. So this was all a bit disappointing. I was only there for a night and the room was clean, but it still sucked !

Tight parking is no joke! Can only park one car per room or there's a $25 a day fee per car. There is no street parking on this street. This is not the place to stay if meeting up with family.

Check in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and even went of their way to help me print some documents that I needed. The room looks recently updated and was very clean. It was priced well for what you get. The parking was a little tight but other than I was pleased with my stay.

The rooms were nice and spacious. The chairs in the room were not that comfortable, a softer chair would have been nice. The parking spaces were quite narrow - when we went to get in our car in the morning, we could hardly get in, because the other cars were so close (and all the cars were in the lines). An ice machine upstairs would have been nice too. The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable.

Clean beds and bathroom. Floor was filthy tho. My son’s feet were black, my feet were black and my wife’s socks were black. Other than that the room was nice and the hotel price was nice. I was in room 209. Another bummer is the parking spots in the lot are extremely small designed only for compact cars. I witnessed two people opening their doors and hitting other cars. It’s a park at your own risk type lot.

Booked this hotel the 2 bed room for a family of 4. We were in town visiting my sister in the military. Was perfectly located and close to the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. The Aquarium, fisherman’s ward and beach are was very close by about 10minute drive. Conveniently located. Only downfall was the room seemed like it was halfway cleaned. The tub and showerhead looked like it needed to be cleaned better. The floor is hardwood laminate and it was clearly not mopped properly bcuz my kids socks were dirty after just walking around for an hour or so in the room. But other than that good size room beds were comfortable and clean.

(Some of the reviews prompted one to believe this property was 'wonderful', sadly, I would say that the individual must have limited travel experience.) Interesting note for the traveler on a tight budget: the day before my check-in I received a note from the property indicating they would hold an additional $250 on my credit card, as a deposit. Don't know if this occurred; as it was not noted on the invoice received. However, just a note of interest. Given the proximity to town, etc... we may return, however, there was is little to draw one back to this property. Cheers for the cleanliness; however, would recommend the use of a damp dust mop across the floors; they didn't 'feel' clean.

Close to town and aquarium. It seems the room was renovated recently so very modern design and clean. The room is not so big but comfortable. The wall is very thin so you can even hear other room’s TV. But overall It is pretty good value for the price.

Great little spot - very close to the mall and very short drive into downtown Monterey and on to the aquarium/cannery row. This is a fully renovated property with modern bathrooms, fridge and microwave in the room. VERY comfortable mattresses. Clean and well kept. Property is also nicely maintained and pretty.

Room was updated and clean. Staff was questionable. Many items were taken out of my room while away for the day and the cleaning crew was in. Brought it to the office attention and they tried to make me feel like I was a liar and their staff would never do that. Then their crew confirmed they thought I was checking out and threw away some of my stuff, but I didnt find this out until late the next day when I realized more stuff was missing and went to the office again. Then they tried their hardest to make replacing the items as inconvenient for me as possible and their replacement items were not like for like replacements costing me money in the end. They were hoping I didnt notice or wouldnt follow up and they could just move on. no apologies, minimal effort, rude evem when they finally admitted fault, crap customer service. Plenty of other places to stay to deal with poor customer service and a staff that either has sticky fingers or is poor at their job.

After coming here on a business trip, I had some expensive things in my vehicle (truck) I want it to be near my room so I could keep an eye on it. Was told to move it to an exterior parking area which I could not see. It they wouldn’t accommodate me (by moving their car or letting me park in a reserved parking spot. Just told me where to move it and took off….definitely won’t be coming back here..

I clicked that 2 adults would stay in the 2-bedroom 2-king beds room ... but at the last minute my daughter was able to take off work and join us on our trip. At check-in when asked how many people I told the truth 3 adults. They wanted to charge me extra for my daughter to sleep over too. I was tired from the trip and did not want to talk ... just add the money. But he yelled at me to listen to him. I'm a grown ass woman who knows how to stay at a hotel. Don't talk to me like I'm a child to listen while you tell me what I know. Charge the extra $15 and let me go. After a few minutes he apologized for yelling but said I would not listen so he had to. Say what now??? By the way I loved the room ... but not the service at reception at all!!!

Our family stayed in the nice place for a couple of nights, we booked two rooms. We are happy with the service! The room has everything you need for a comfortable stop on a road trip, we were pleased with the large bathroom. Convenient location of the motel, opposite there is a large shopping area with cafes and shops. Within a 5-minute drive there are several cafes for breakfast and dinner.

Great place. Centrally located for the things we wanted to do. Rooms were beautifully done. Parking was included. Staff was wonderful. Gave us sightseeing tips complete with bus numbers. We tried 2 of the restaurant recommendations and they were excellent. We highly recommend this hotel
