I could hear the Tv from the other room constantly, strange as all channels looked like as if the tv was using an old bunny ears antenna. The mini-fridge didn’t work and the gym equipment is old. A heads up that the pool was closed (damaged by the typhoon last week) would have been nice before arriving.

No complimentary water. No mini bar. No hotel bar. No 24 hour room service. Lack of areas for guests to sit and relax. Club lounge is like a workers canteen, small with tables close together, poor food and drink selection. Lack of staff. Dated interior. Harbour Grill & Corner Cafe are great but cost extra, anything that’s included with the room is either missing or poor quality. Government ban on single use plastics doesn’t excuse lack of water bottles in rooms, other hotels use glass or water dispenser.

Short stay perfect for business travel and the club lounge was nice

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in an executive suite and had use of the exec lounge for breakfast and also comp afternoon tea and evening drinks. Really easy to use the MTR to get around as station about 300m away! Slow check in however and would be good if they could provide a means to refill water bottles/flasks as water is no longer provided in rooms. Would recommend though.

The gym is very very basic, no rowing machine as shown in their photos. Miss represented. No in room water, bathroom accessories or coffee machine. The slippers and robe are very cheap. This hotel prevailed luxury accommodation, but it’s far from this, and they have stopped the shuttle too! the managers are very unhelpful with making this better. Sandy in the restaurant is incredible, I moved to Shangri la for similar money, which felt like you would hope an Asian luxury accommodation would!

The pool was great. The staff were happy to go out of their way for you. The view from the restaurant at the fabulously diverse buffet breakfast is spectacular. It took some time to get our bearings and it was a bit of a distance from the action of Hong Kong.

Clean, modern, great location, amazing view and impressive facilities

Property was older and was overall fine - my main concern was the cleanliness level of the room as there were strands of other women’s hair stuck in the bathtub (long black hair - I have dyed brunette/orangey hair) and random stains in the towels on day 1. Towels changed every day but always had some odd hair or stain on them. Body wash also ran out on day 2 and was never replaced (I brought my own but my fiancé had use mine since the hotel products were not refilled). The hotel staff are friendly and always welcoming however the main staff in the lobby area largely focus on the revolving door of wedding parties rather than the hotel guests themselves

We opted to upgrade to a Tower Suite on the 30th floor which was a great decision. Brilliant views over Victoria Harbour and a room that was both comfortable to live in and spotless. The staff in the Harbour Club lounge on the 19th floor were a sheer delight and we enjoyed breakfast as well as the odd afternoon tea (great scones with clotted cream!). We also came down to enjoy canapés and drinks every evening from 5:30pm. Because we had club access, we didn’t try any of the hotel’s restaurants but we did see them prepare the buffets and the food looked amazing. The hotel is in a quieter area (Hung Hom/Whampoa), so if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Wan Chai or TST’s Nathan Road, this is a perfect alternative. Whampoa MTR station is a mere short walk away (watch out for the big yacht!) and there are ferries next to the hotel that will take you to Central and North Point. Public transport is efficient, easy to ride and cheap as anything so don’t get Ubers, join the locals and ride the buses, trams, ferries and MTR. We would happily return to this hotel.

The location and the hotel size was great. We booked a room with view of Victoria Harbour which was beautiful. However, I took off a star due to 2 reasons. 1. The Lounge was very average, and I wouldnt recommend to go 2. The hotel smelt slighly musty if the aircon wasnt on. The hotel has a lot of carpet, and I wonder if due to the humidity this is leading to the carpet smelling slighly musty.

1. House keeping dept had delayed washing our laundry. it took a long period to locate and receive our washed laundry. Hotel receptionists and the house keeping staff do not have appropriate communication among themselves and caused many misunderstanding issues during our stay. 2, Bath tower have black stain on it.

At this grading, the cleanliness is really not good. Stains on bed sheets, duvet cover, towel, curtains, literally almost everywhere. Aircon vent dust etc. Really, it’s not good! Look at the pictures that will tell, and I’ve only taken a few of the things.

The hotel was clean and staff were good. Comfortable and clean room, location was great close to transport,easy walking to shops and restaurants. It was right on the waterfront, view was lovely. We stayed for 8 nights, it was perfect. We also had stayed at this hotel before, so it was a repeat stay.

Wir haben fünf Tage im Harbor Grand Kowloon verbracht. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kind) hatten ein Zimmer mit Hafenblick gebucht. Beim Check-In bekamen wir die Option, zwischen verschiedenen Betten zu wählen - und erhielten zwei King-Size-Betten und ein Sofabett, was perfekt war. Außerdem war der Raum sehr groß und hatte einen wunderbaren Ausblick, über Eck in zwei verschiedene Richtungen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der Pool auf dem Dach des Hotels. Die Umgebung hat uns auch sehr gefallen, im nahegelegenen Whampoa gibt es alles und mit Aeon ein Kaufhaus, das alles hat - auch einen riesigen Supermarkt. Mit der Metro ist man in 20 Minuten in Central, mit dem Bus 115 in 30 Minuten. Alternativ kann man die Fähre nehmen. Abends lässt es sich schön an der Promenade spazieren mit Blick auf Hong Kong. Wir würden dieses Hotel immer wieder buchen!

Very nice Harbour walk, room cabinet needs some fixing due to age, squeezing noise

The standard of the front desk and bell staffs maintain an excellent standard. The harbor view of the room was very nice, although the sound period was a bit poor. We could hear the sound from the adjacent room.

Internet access is very poor. I have never stayed at a hotel where I could not log in to my business VPN or where regular internet access was so slow. Get another internet plan if you plan on working while staying at this hotel If you are just vacationing it is a 5 star property

Very convenient location and good sized rooms

The staff were courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job in our room each day. We had a late evening flight, but checked out the morning and the hotel was accommodating in holding our luggage until we departed for the airport. Hope to stay here again.

I appreciated the early check-in and being given a lovely room with Harbour views. The staff was excellent. Queenie, the receptionist was wonderful and so was the house cleaning staff. The location was very convenient with a lovely walk along the promenade to some of the main attractions. The pool was very nice, but unfortunately, it was always crowded with lots of kids.

Check in need use almost 1.5 hrs

I have waited for checking-in for long time because there is only ONE staff to deal with so many clients at 3:30pm. It's totally unacceptable.

the front desk and lobby staffs are always friendly and helpful. this is our third time staying at this hotel and we’re very happy with the hotel, especially the harbour view from the room

Very convenient location for food and transportation as well. But Poor Experience for their Front Desk

The only thing we did not like was the checking... staff was busy with the checkouts and did not bother offering us nay options as we arrived early. They were quite rude, telling us a number of times... check in 3 pm.

Me and wife had stayed in this hotel numerous time over the past few years and was pleased with the service with the exception of this time, a couple of issues caused my overall rating down from 5 to 4. We were a party of 5 and I'd booked 3 rooms, my family of 4 for 2 rooms and 1 room for a good friend of mine staying by herself, for Sep 9 - Sep 11 and Sep 26 - Sep 29. The first time the check-ins were very pleasant and they both got upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. The second time check-in on Sep 26, because we arrived separately, my friend checked-in first before our arrival. She was told there was no reservation for her, who was successfully checked-in on Sep 9. She called me and asked for the booking invoice. I sent her the copy via wechat which she showed thagt to the lady at the check-in counter. My friend was told that the invoice did not have her name on it, which the staff had clearly missed that on the invoice. After the issue was cleared, the staff then said the name on the reservation did not match the name on the passport, happened to be the middle name was missing and said she couldn't check my friend in. I was surprised that the staff was making a fuss and had to explain over the phone that when I booked for the hotel, I was only asked to provide first name and last name, as well as I didn't have the problem when I checked-in on Sep 9. She was checked-in after almost 30 mins delay. That clearly demonstrated the incompetence of the check-in staff.

I very rarely give negative reviews of hotels, but this one fell at the very first step. On arrival you will be greeted by a long queue for check in - I waited 40 minutes to check in, which you really do not want after a 12 hour flight. Despite there being 10 check-in desks, at times there was only one member of staff (although there were lots of other staff members wandering around with no apparent purpose). This was no one-off - the queues were there consistently for my entire stay. I was advised by the staff not to charge anything to my room, otherwise I'd need to queue to check out as well. I also saw queues for breakfast and dinner too. The hotel is clearly understaffed and for a supposedly 5 star hotel this simply isn't acceptable.

The receptionist, named Amy, was arrogant and irresponsible. She refused to answer enquiries about checking in and room service. It seems responding and serving customers is not what she is willing to do

Lovely modern hotel with great waterfront location. Hotel pool and sun deck great with amazing views over Hong Kong. Rooms spacious and very comfortable. Coffee shops and bakeries nearby if on a room only basis. Great location for getting out and about and metro within walking distance.

Excellent location, clean facilities, harbour views, short walk to MTR The Harbour Grand is in a quiet location overlooking the harbour, yet a short walk to the MTR for connections to Hong Kong island and the AirPort Express. The rooms are lovely and big and always clean. Short walk to local restaurants and a supermarket for snacks and water for the room. Highly recommend a stay here.

Professional staff to help guest staying there, nice view right outside the hotel and it is good place for morning walk and looking at the views across the Hong Kong Island area. lots of eating places and shopping around the area. Closed to MTR, about 2-3 minutes walk.

Good location on the harbour. Less than 3 minutes walk to MTR. Great walking corridor to TST. Lots of local restaurants available.

The room is excellent. The view is unbeatable. We stayed 5 days in the 20th floor and had the harbour view all by ourselves. One must go up to the roof top to see the whole harbour. Minor change should be provide water bottles to the guests. The location is perfect, 7 minutes walk from Whampoa D2 MTR exit.

Hotellet er dejligt og ligger godt. Morgenmaden er ik god men dyr. Brødet er tørt og smagløst. Juice kunstigt i smag - ikke rigtig juice. Salat og grønt meget trist udvalg. Ok frugt buffet. Meget dårlig kaffe.

It was a beautiful modern hotel. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were quite impressive. If you book directly with the hotel, your breakfast is included. Unfortunately, not included with Hotels.com. senior discount made the buffet $20/pp at the hotel. Well worth it. I would happily stay there again. Within walking distance to restaurants, incredible grocery store shops and subway station.

Loved the hotel but the breakfast was awful. This made us rethink our return stay and have booked else where.
