That hotel (Royal Plaza Hotel) does not tell customers the facts until the customer reaches Villa Toscane, where on a corner there is an inconspicuous sign that asks the customer to register at Royal Plaza. El personal fue muy amable. Al ir en temporada baja nos realizaron una mejoría en la habitación y nos hospedamos en el Royal Plaza. Las vistas desde el bar del hotel son fantásticas. Tiene servicio de spa gratuito para los huéspedes, nos encantó, tiene sauna, baño turco, jacuzzi y piscina. Lo disfrutamos mucho.

The staff was pleasant, however, the hotel has no parking and you will have to cross the street to a different location to use the amenities and restaurant making it very inconvenient. Specially with kids and with the weather conditions

The hotel was fine - we’ve stayed in much better 3* hotels on our trip, but this was fine. You get access to the facilities in a 5* hotel opposite which is great. The spa was very average - not 5* quality, but since this was a 3* hotel it was nice to have Our initial room was BOILING hot, and there was no AC. The staff kindly moved us to an available room which had AC, but since it was one of the hottest days of the year and an AC room was available we shouldn’t really have had to ask for that. Overall it’s fine, probably wouldn’t stay again

Hôtel vieillissant, literie très inconfortable, clim et sèche cheveux défectueux. Mais surtout une Isolation phonique inexistante, ayant passé une nuit dans une chambre côté route nous n'avons rien dormi de la nuit.Il faut préciser que l'hôtel se situe au bord de la route principale qui traverse Montreux, le trafic y est donc intense... Je n'ai pas pour habitude de laisser des avis négatifs, mais là ce n'est vraiment pas acceptable. Les seuls points positifs: la propreté et la sympathie de la femme de ménage

Nice hotel and very clean. Check in went smooth at the hotel across the street. The entrance has an electronic lock, immediately push on the door when your keycard unlocks the strike. The hotel is an old building and well maintained.

Disappointed in this hotel. No milk in the rooms with the tea and coffee, very basic rooms, bathroom so small your knees are on the wall when on the toilet and you can reach each wall almost with each arms. Check in across the road in another hotel, with no assistance to transport luggage. Double bed was two single beds pushed together. Hotel very dated. Wouldn’t return.

Although the Royal Plaza Montreux manages the administrative and daily duties of the facility, I felt the process is well-run, even though we had to walk across the street in the pouring down rain. It was worth it!

We loved the location, view, ease of access to bus, breakfast, and swimming pool. Staff was very friendly. We stayed two nights. Our room was advertised as having air conditioning, but the first night the AC was broken and they were unable to fix it or change our rooms. Given the cost to stay, we thought they might offer compensation (free breakfast) or small discount, but they did not. However, they did move us the second night to a room with AC, and then we were able to sleep well. Overall, we loved everything about this hotel except the broken AC.

Montreux is amazing and this is a perfectly located spot. And you get a pass for reduced museum admission and free public transport! The bus stop is right next to the property. The breakfast views are unparalleled and the staff is superb.

Check in erfolgte im Nachbarhotel Royal Plaza. Die Praktikantin war hoffnungslos überfordert und hat sich leider keine Hilfe bekommen - echt nervenaufreibend!!! Das Zimmer im der Villa Toscane war tipp topp - zwei Badezimmer - ruhige Lage - sauber. Die Infrastruktur (Pool, Restaurant,etc.) befindet sich im Royal Plaza. Das Frühstück war okay (kontinental)- gegen einen Aufpreis konnte man ein reichhaltigeres Buffet buchen - Lage des Hotels ideal - nahe der Promenade - Preis/Leistung stimmt

Hotel bien situado, a 10 minutos andando a la estación de tren y bien comunicado con el bus 201, el bus es gratis con el buspass que te dan en el hotel. Habitaciones reformadas y algunas con vistas al lago. Para hacer el checking tienes que ir al hotel de enfrente, en el cual también puedes ir a su spa.

It’s a beautiful hotel. Although just know that this hotel is across the street from the lake and you would check in at Royal Plaza and also eat breakfast there. You will have to haul your luggage across the street. I would recommend adding the 16 ChF for breakfast as the actual cost is 30 ChF for the lovely spread! Our window faced the street and we got a glimpse of the alps and lake from our bed. We loved our stay!!

Excellent property. We stayed in the family roon which was very spacious! Breakfast was a huge let down. Much smaller and cheaper hotels provided a bigger breakfast compared to Villa Toscane.

Villa Toscana är en vacker byggnad på gångavstånd från centrum och tågstationen. Rummet var fräscht och städat. Många eluttag vilket alltid är positivt. Vi hade inte frukost inkluderat men valde att äta på hotellets frukost en morgon. Det fanns då två val, en lite enklare och en med egg, bacon mm i restaurangen två trappor ner. Den var otroligt dyr, ingen hög kvalitet på maten och tyvärr väldigt dålig service.
