Capital Plaza Hotel

Property was under renovations- Our room was ok. Water pressure in the shower was poor. They were aware there were 3 in the room and we were using the sofa bed which was a tight squeeze and no room to get out of the bed. Plus there were no extra sheets or pillows until we asked. Plugs were all loose and phone cords would not stay on the walls. Other than that staff were al kind and breakfast was good. Might consider returning after renovations.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was decent, and the room was quiet with a nice view. Hotel itself was old and tired looking. The room was covered in stains, lots of water stains on the ceiling, did not provide any soap in the bathroom.

The Capital Plaza Hotel was an excellent place to stay. The location to historic downtown Frankfort was perfect- it is just a short walk to the middle of the downtown with plenty to eat & drink. The hotel is across the street from a scenic trail if you want to take a stroll. They are renovating so it will be even better in the future. The parking garage is behind the hotel & open 24/7. The only thing that I might have an opinion about is the view. You have to be pretty high up to get a view of the river or the city so don't expect anything spectacular on that point.

The tub had lots of hair and dirt in the tub. the carpets are dirty and the dirty tub had me after to sleep on the sheets

Wish the bar would have been open
