This stay was awful. I had originally booked with hotel.com and intended to split the payments in half, I was told by the hotel I could not do that, and would be charged the full amount at check in. Upon check in, they charged my card for the full amount of the stay plus one of the payments. Around 5:30AM our smoke alarm went off with dead batteries and we noticed our power was out in more than half of our room. They came to change the batteries and told us if they cannot fix the issue they would get us a new room. No more than 12 hours later the smoke alarm was going off again. This time, they just completely removed the smoke alarm from the room entirely. The entire room was wet and smelled like mold, you could even see it in photos.

I was not happy with our stay. After getting in our room .... IT SMELLED AWFUL! The carpet was damp/wet. The room had this musty, damp, AWFUL smell to it. I couldn't stay in it. I asked for a new room and it was the SAME. After getting a third room I gave in. We were there for a baseball tournament and most of our teammates were staying together (had they not been- I would have been outta there!) The other families felt the same way but just dealt with it. One family said it smelled like an old nursing home. That musty, old smell. I ASSUME they cleaned the carpets and just shut the doors afterwards. So... I do think it was clean, but not what I expect from a hotel stay. Will not stay here again. Not sure if I could recommend it with so many other hotels nearby.

The staff seemed almost nonexistent. There was one person that I witnessed managing the breakfast. One person at the front desk that would show up if you rang the bell. I don’t think we ever saw a cleaning staff, though we weren’t there very long, only at night and in the morning. The hotel was very dated. I can’t say the room was unclean but the hotel itself just seemed old. There was some general maintenance issues but not worth reporting. Nothing major. The pool was so cold that my daughter who swims in very cold pools and oceans couldn’t even stay in there.

Need a sign on the main road---no indication where the hotel is ---went back and forth with uturns 3 times to find it---property not maintained---terrible hotel deodorizers that smells up the entire building---I am environmentally allergic and I had to wear a mask the smell was so overpowering---I left my private water bottle and they didn't put in lost and found and just threw it away---coffee cups couldn't have been smaller
