Shem Creek Inn

Beautiful location right on Shem Creek. Restaurants all around and great entertainment. Quick 20-30 min drive to downtown Charleston.

Cute Inn, great location vibe but you definitely want a Creek view. The Marsh view is mostly a parking lot view. Creek view offers a lively and fun view of all the restaurants and bars as well as the property pool. Drawbacks of staying here are if you are on the first floor, you will hear everyone walking, etc. above you. Walls are pretty thin and you can hear people snoring. The ventilation in the bathrooms should be upgraded as they don’t really ventilate well. Overall this is a cute and fun vibe and the staff was great and friendly. It is not luxurious so if that’s what you want, this is not the place to stay. If you want low key chill out, clean and easy with walk to bars and restaurants and a great water view then this is your place!

Easy parking. Clean room, close to restaurants, pier for walking. Was disappointed with limited view from first floor creekside for the price. Recommend 2nd floor room.

Easy parking. Staff was helpful and responsive. Breakfast was ok/average. Room was nice but the floor was very dirty, after walking around in the room for a few hours my bare feet were black. TV was ok but Comcast cable, not smart wifi TV (cable went out for half the day and evening.

Great location. Thankfully not many children were here. An older demographic which is very nice. Location is a short walk to Salt Water Cowboys and Red’s. Look forward to my next stay. Creek side is the way to go.
