Mt Pleasant was nice. Use the Hampton as a starting point to bike into Charleston or drive to Sullivan beach. They stored our bikes in storage room next to office. Breakfast was good and coffee 24 hours was better. Would definitely book the Hampton in Mt Pleasant again.

I love having the refrigerator, microwave and the offering of tea or coffee in the lobby. Very friendly and accommodating. Close to the bridge and pier for walking. Perfect choice for my stay! Thank you!

Very polite and helpful staff at the main desk. Room was very clean and spacious. Not seen the duvet with open cover before, I would question this for hygiene reasons? I hope the duvet is also cleaned? Air conditioning unit is extremely noisy especially at night. Would suggest better sound proofing is considered. And for this reason I would not stay here again. Same goes for ice machine outside of room in the hallway was very noisy and could be heard from inside room. Nice gym and nice small outdoor pool area. Very clean lobby and great free tea and coffee available all day in lobby area. Lastly excellent to have laundry facilities available with quick turnaround clean and dry washing. Also has free car parking.

Great, convenient location. Good breakfast and clean room/common areas. The elliptical in the gym didn't work and apparently hasn't worked for awhile, but all the gym equipment seemed new. We stayed for three nights and on the second day, we asked if we could have our room cleaned but apparently you have to ask the previous day which we were not aware. Other than that, it was perfect for a trip to Charleston!

All of the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The facilities were clean and well maintained. They have a nice fitness center which is very nice. The toilet in our room appears to need a new flapper valve as it would refill itself on an ongoing basis.

Although a non-smoking property based on posted signs, the lobby area distinctly smells strongly of cigarette smoke at all times. The room was clean and decently maintained. The pool was absolutely filthy. We couldn’t see to the bottom even in the shallow end, and was closed the second day of our stay. This was a huge disappointment because we chose this location specifically because we wanted a pool.

Hotel is great, excellent location in mount pleasant right by patriots point. Walking distance to naval museum and water taxi. Beautiful trees on the property, ample parking. Breakfast was good and coffee available all day. Room was clean. Only complaint is the pillows were not firm enough and a little small.

Outstanding on being clean! It even smells clean! The staff are outstanding and very helpful! We have stayed at this hotel on and off for 6 years! It's a 5 star rating! Breakfast is always very good! Never a problem at any Hampton Inn we have stayed in all over the US!

The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. Great area, just over the bridge from Charleston. Close to everything. Check in was quick and Alexis is awesome. Great recommendations for dinner and a very friendly person to chat with. The room is a little smaller than a typical room but it’s still plenty of room, don’t let that discourage you from staying here. The pool was clean and easy to access. The breakfast had a lot to choose from, best breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Dog friendly located next to the Ravenel bridge. Super clean property. Biggest disappointment was the queen bed as it was not comfortable, we could feel the springs. Overpriced, paying for proximity to dining options.

Decent for a 2 to 3 star hotel. Parking was good, and location is good to get access to the highway, but not a lot within walking distance of hotel. Room was a bit small, and lighting in the room is pretty poor. Overall not bad room, but for the money was hoping for something a bit better. Breakfast was free, but very limited in options, and little to no variation each day. Egg, meat, bread and waffle maker. Waffle was not very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

Nice & helpful staff overall. Room & facility was quiet & complimentary breakfast was good, but sometimes didn’t have adequate seating. One surprising & somewhat disappointing thing was there were no safes in the rooms. First hotel I stayed at in years without one. Also, on our last day, we asked for room to be cleaned at front desk & also in person to housekeeper. It never got done that particular day. Overall good experience other than these minor details.

I found this property suitable considering the properties ranking. The staff was more than willing to accommodate, however, we checked in on a Friday and checked out on a Sunday and upon returning to our room on Saturday, complained that the room was not made up only to be told that that property only provides housekeeping every other day. Which means in short, we had no housekeeping during our entire stay. Not sure I would stay at this property again based there upon.

Great location close enough to downtown Charleston as well as areas on the mt. Pleasant side of Charleston (Sullivan’s island and isle of palms). Also lots of dining areas and conveniences within a few minutes driving. Nice to have complimentary breakfast until 10 am and free tea and coffee throughout the day. Note: Pool is not heated and no non dairy milk options for coffee or breakfast. The oatmeal seemed to finish by 9 each morning, only other items restocked until 10 am.

The breakfast wasn’t great. The first day was scrambled eggs, which were great. The next two days were not so great omelets, home potato, sausage or chicken sausage. The waffles were good. Scrambled eggs daily would be good. Grits were mostly water with a few grains.

We wanted to enjoy a short getaway with our 2 pups which included enjoying a musical event in downtown Charleston. The accommodations were wonderful, comfortable and we appreciated having a 1st floor room so taking the pups out for their walks was very convenient. The breakfasts were delicious. The outdoor areas were delightful.

Property was very clean and in good shape, breakfast was great and varied. Front desk personnel were not very welcoming or friendly but the ladies who took care of the breakfast area, and housekeepers were very friendly and polite.
