Quality Suites Pineville - Charlotte

It was good wen I checked in for my reservation nice and quick but after awhile thought out the day my kids was at the pool and they had to close it down because of a light fixture in the pool never opened back up so I was a mad abt that then wen I checked out the next morning someone had broke into my car and others cars too on the property. So I will never come back here again and the lady at the front desk act like the cameras didn’t work when we questioned her abt it. Sad just sad

The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, pool was clean and they provided everything we needed.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. However, my kids were stuck in the elevator and I was told that happens all the time. Not exaggerating I mean literally the elevator shut down. Then kids went to pool. The pool looked like watered down milk and all you could smell was chlorine. Definitely not clean. Room was nice and comfortable.

Pro: close to shopping, family orient activities close by, carowinds a short distance away Con: pool closed, 2 nd floor smelled, people sat outside my door farting and talking and then ran off once we open door ( adults), while eating breakfast staff turned the lights off told us we had to leave with our small children, Hotel management need to inform tennants not to hang in hallways and if there hygienes not the best...

We would stay again and everything was great!!! Our only complaint was the condition of the pool it wasn’t usable.

Room was mostly clean, had an issue with the pull out bed but staff were quick to get us clean sheets for it. Was fine enough for one night. We did enjoy being able to use the indoor pool for a couple hours after dinner so that kids could get some energy out. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked, food was pretty standard and tasted fine. Staff members were friendly. Would probably stay here again.

The pool was out of service and the lady who was over the breakfast was rude. Literally turned the lights off on us while we was eating. I will not be going back to this hotel

Nice, clean hotel. Room was firm but not too firm. Pool is small and shallow.

I chose this hotel because of the inside pool but the water was too cold to swim. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel in a good location and great breakfast.

Holes in the shower wall, cracked tubs, holes in the wall, loose electric outlets, bad smells, poop in the pool area that was reported twice and not picked up, no towels in the pool area even after asking for some, requested maintenance to open the safe and they said they didn’t understand what we were asking

The room had bedbugs. I spent a horrible night . I will discourage anyone from going to this hotel. I actually want my money back. The beds are super uncomfortable and in addition to bed bugs , it was a nightmare.

The pictures do not match the description of this location. My son slept on the pull out sofa bed the first night and woke up with 12 insect bites on one hand and 5 on the other. Later in the day we realized they had to be bed bug bites as 8 of them were in a straight line going up his hand and wrist. He was miserable all day. We packed everything up and checked out. I explained our issue with the owner and he, of course, argued with me that it was not bed bugs. Hotels.com further communicated with staff requesting a refund and no refund was issued. I then had to locate another hotel to complete our spring break vacation and pay for lodging a second time. Thankful he was the only one affected and we are not dealing with an infestation but very disappointed to say the least!

The overflowing trash at the front of the hotel was a turnoff coming in. The bench by the smoking area along with trash to left of door were both very visible on arrival. After checking in the trash on the second floor was also overflowing with several different bags sat beside it. The smell was not great in the hallway because of it. The room itself smelled musty or mildewy when walking in room, turning on the air and getting it circulating did help.

The bathtub & shower curtain had dirty hand prints on it. All the mirrors had fingerprints/smudges on them.

Very poor cleanliness in our room. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The toilet seat was falling off the toilet. The toilet paper dispenser was loose on the wall. Stains on the couch. Cracked tiles on the floor and cracks and poorly repaired areas of the wall in the bathroom.

Undisclosed checkin fees. Very bad stain on matress cover and asked for a new room. Bathroom shower curtain was not long enough to block the water. Why? Not sure why this hotel is rated as good as it is.

Halls and rooms were musty and felt dirty. Rooms were not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. Would not stay there again.

Absolutely horrible stay. Our room was disgusting and unsanitary. We came later at night and we’re tired. I put the kids to bed and then looked around. There was a full trash can in the first room. On the very top was a disgusting pile of bloody tissues!! My Husband then brushed his teeth and the sink was almost completely clogged, bringing up old hair and then very slowly draining. When I pulled the covers down, to get into bed, there were fresh blood stains! I assume the sheets were not changed, from the previous guest, and the bloody tissues made sense. I spoke to the woman at the front desk and she assured me the room would be cleaned in the morning. I had to sleep on top of the blankets with nothing to cover myself. I checked with the man in the morning about our room being cleaned. He said there was a note there and assured me it would be done. We left the hotel from 9:30 am until 10 pm. When we returned the room had not been touched! I went to the front desk and the woman apologized. There were no rooms to move us to. We once again had to sleep in a dirty bed. I asked for clean blankets and there were none!! She gave me mattress protectors to use as a blanket. We booked with this hotel since there was an indoor pool. I asked, at check in, for the pool hours. I was told they were 9-9. So the last day I told my kids they could swim. We went down at 9:30 and the pool was “temporarily closed” All around disappointing.

We stayed just one night and checked in at around 1030 PM. We left at 0630 the next day. In that short amount of time we saw three cockroaches. We notified the front desk and hardly got an apology of any kind. All they said was that they would take a note of it. Also disappointed there were no hard boiled eggs for breakfast.

Will probably look at other hotelsnin area. For price this one a little ran down, ac unit in room sucked...nearly at 60 barely cools.

My checkin was at 1:00am and front desk was very polite and nice. AC in the room 205 was very noisy. Walls are thin, can hear TV in rooms next door. Also kids above were playing until 2am which added to overall noise. I realize guest behavior is not on the hotel but the walls are thin. Decent coffee and breakfast.

A brief stay overnight as we were road tripping. Room was great: comfortable beds and room was clean.

Good service ..Clean hotel but a little noisy. You can hear childrens running on floor above...room doors slamming...talking in halls echoing CLEARLY from inside the room.

Sam at the desk was extremely kind and helpful as the other staff was nice too. We didn't require much and didn't have anymore interaction other than check in and check out. But the place is clean but a bit dated somewhat. Bed was comfy and we slept well. No loud neighbors. I can't say it was a bad stay at all. Just would've spent about $50 more for something with a little fancier name brand since we don't travel much and were in town for one night for a baseball tournament. Only thing after reading reviews had me nervous to park in the parking lot because I've had a few cars broken in so I wish there was a way to alleviate that concern. We just parked right up front in the "special" parking and hoped no one had a problem with it.

Out stay was very nice. Really like the lay out of the rooms. Very roomy and nice kitchenette.

Ok stay. Nice room but window was broken, off track, tried to fix it but couldnt. So it was a little noiser than we wanted. 2nd floor so security wssnt a huge issue but could have been. Desk offered different room but we were getting ready to go to sleep. Breakfast good.

The service was excellent. Upon entering I was greeted with a pleasant and clean scent. It was very welcoming element of the stay. The agent at the front desk went above and beyond to care for me and pointed out the options available. I enjoyed the indoor pool and was truly refreshed.

Quality Suites was a great place to stay while we were in Pineville, NC. I would especially commend the staff at the desk (Bill on the afternoon/evening shift) who went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had with Expedia booking. That was our first stay at Quality Suites and Bill made the difference in it being a great trip!

For both times that I have stayed here, the hotel reception desk employee was polite and made check in effortless.

It was a little creepy. The hallway was dark. There was a closet door in the hall that was propped open that looked a lil suspicious. The early morning staff was a little rude. My boys went for breakfast 5 mins before they closed. Instead of the breakfast attendant letting them know it was too late, he snatched the cup out of their hands and told them to leave. He was rude the day before that as well when we went down to get a pack of syrup and he yelled at me and called for the lady at the front desk who was rude as well. We will never go there again.

The staff was awesome! Ms Desiree at the front desk handled a situation that arose from Expedia. She explained everything, and everything was sorted out. The breakfast ladies were very kind . They kept the area stocked and clean. The breakfast was quite tasty! The room was decent. It was just minor cosmetics in that area. The black out curtains did not totally black out the window. The hallway walls and the windows are thin. I could hear people talking outside the room.

The property is nice on the outside and the lobby is modern and up to date. The lobby restrooms were blocked off so you couldn't use them. The next morning, I informed the lady at the front desk about the issue in my room and she wasn't very friendly. In the first room, the handle on the shower was broken and not working properly. That afternoon upon returning to the property, the next room I was moved to, water was leaking from behind the counter in the bathroom. I didn't even bother to tell the front desk because of how I was treated the day before. The day of checkout, we were getting our things together, it was 11 o'clock on the dot and the housekeeper was knocking on the door. I answered and she stated that checkout was at 11am and I told her that we were getting ready to leave, as it was only 11am at that time. Immediately after that the phone ranged and it was front desk saying the same thing. I informed her that we were about to walk out of the room. I don't think that I will EVER stay at that property again. I have never been hounded and forced to leave because it was 11am on the dot. I could understand if they were to be sold out on a sunday night, but it was Easter sunday and the parking lot wasn't full on either night. I don't know what the urgency was but it was very upsetting and the experience was not a great one!!!

We prepaid the stay through Orbitz. Had to leave a day earlier the originally planned. Tried to get a refund for the last day giving 24 hours notice and was told by the front desk we had to contact the manager. The manager was not on the property and would not return our messages. Very disappointing since we had been staying at the property every week for several weeks. We have several more weeks of business in the area, but will not be staying at the property. They kept one nights fee, but lost 15 nights.

We made a room reservation for a girls trip to a concert this week. The parking lot was well lit, the staff was so kind and the rooms were very clean! I was actually surprised with how big the rooms were. We got in late so it was nice having the fridge and microwave to heat up left over lunch. Will stay again!

The property is clean, in an excellent area, and convenient to a large mall and other business. Very nice section of town. A little drive to downtown, but that probably a good thing.

The area was nice. Only 25 minutes away from charlotte and around 15 aqaynfrom carowinds. Thr breakfast was good.

Great location

The inside updates are great, it was really clean and nice! The inside looks better than the outside (it just needs some fresh paint) but it's on a busy road and you could hear trucks going by. Overall, it was a great deal for what we paid and I'd stay there again.

Nice spacious room with very thoughtful accessibility arrangements. Courteous staff. Nice location. Close to interstate.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here and it was only 6 mins from Carowinds.

Thermostat in room broken. Kept switching to 90°. Unacceptable. They finally moved us to a different room at 10pm. Room stayed cool until 8am. Same problem occured. Pool was cold. Breakfast was beyond bad. They were out of waffle batter, oj, and apple juice. Biscuit gravy was VERY watered down. Eggs and sausage VERY cold and obviously were sitting there for hours. No plates, salt, or pepper. Hotel charged my card $2.00 - not much but unacceptable. Why the $2.00 charge. Wouldn't go back there if you paid me!

Property not as updated as other Comfort Inn & Suites I’ve stayed in. Coffee was very weak. Breakfast was so so. Eggs were cold. Dining room was dirty.

Pleasant accommodation, nice hot breakfast.

The facility was great overall. The room was nice and spacious, good amenities provided. My two complaints are we booked this specific hotel because of the pool and free breakfast provided. However, the pool was shut down for cleaning, so that was a bummer. Then, we came down for breakfast at 8:45am (it was supposed to be open until 9am) and all the food was wiped out except for a little bit of cereal and bagels, and she wasn't restocking anything. All the hot food was gone, the waffle mix was gone, and she was cleaning everything up promptly at 9am, even though people were still eating. I'm talking removed every single thing, she even took the salt and pepper away! I had to ask her to turn the beverage machine back on just so I could get some water! So that was disappointing for my family of 6 who was planning on a nice hot breakfast. Just beware and get there early!! Also, it would be nice if they would extend the breakfast hours to 9:30, as there were multiple families who showed up expecting food until 9am and were disappointed and hungry.
