We chose to eat on the property one evening and were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty the salad and other dishes were. The rooms could use new carpets etc., but it was clean and curtains kept the room very dark for sleeping, which was a bonus. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Peloton in gym with enough equipment to get a good workout.

The breakfast they offered was pretty bad. First morning all the hot foods were gone and had to wait for more. No hard boiled eggs, or a pancake or waffle maker. Second morning couldn’t get a bagel, they replaced them with wheat bread that morning. It was an unexpected treat at checkin to get cookies. The hot tub was clean but could have been a little hotter.

It's now owned by DoubleTree and it is not living up to Doubletree standards. The pool and the hot tub both need vacuuming to get the dirt and grim off, and the carpet has not been changed in years. We found the carpet loose in the bedroom and twice stepped on carpet nails sticking up through the carpet. The one good thing is they have opened up the restaurant and the breakfast meal was very adequate. Also, they need to sweep The walkways in the room area and the steps steps going up and down as well as steps around the pool area. Looks like they hadn't done that in weeks.

This was an older hotel, but it was clean. It is similar to the Embassy Suites hotel but the rooms are open to the outside. The staff was friendly and there were no issues. The free breakfast was nice.

Breakfast was very nice and kept full for guests while we dined. The pool and hot tub was very clean, clear and warm for my kids. It was beautiful! The use of printer and computers for guests was a nice touch. The staff were helpful. The room needed a little love, carpets stained and long curtains were very dusty. The beds were nice and comfy. Overall not bad. We picked doubletree over hampton due to the cookies (for experience). Not offered any at check in. When we asked about an hour later they said they were out of order probably until the next day. They did receive some later that evening. The same with checkout , told they had none but did later that day. We would consider staying again at this location because of the breakfast experience and the pool/ hot tub.

The property outside was nice. The pool was sparkling clean & cool ( especially for August in Arizona). The rooms need to be remodeled. They are extremely outdated. We had issues with our ac unit to two rooms. We had to move twice because the ac units broke. We woke up in the middle of the night with no ac. They did give us points equivalent to 200$ for the inconvenience. That was a nice gesture although my nightly rate was 135$. I don’t think I can go back there. The staff was very nice though. The rooms need a better cleaning. I found a dead bug in one room.

Fine- room had a weird layout for a suite, where the bathroom was “in” the bedroom, sink in the room and toilet and shower through a door with the light switch on the outer wall-if you want to use the restroom or shower and anyone is sleeping, you have to basically turn the lights on in the room.

Large room, friendly staff. Hotel is in a good location, lots of restaurants near by not overloaded with the college crowd. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast is good start fir the day. The rooms are starting to show some wear and tear tough.

It’s quite old. At night, the air condition was turned off for the nights we stayed there. This is a big no to me and I don’t understand why the hotel does that. The room got so hot and got stuffed at night.

Got wet! We were in a room on the third floor and it rained overnight. I thought the spot my foot hit in bed was cold but it was wet because the ceiling leaked. I had my clothes laid out for the morning, and those got wet too. Had to dry my jeans with the blow dryer. Notified management and for 1,000 Hilton points for my trouble. Fair? Dunno. Other than that, the room was huge, beds were comfy. On site restaurant was mediocre (and I had to walk back into the kitchen to find the server when we went for dinner). Breakfast was better.

I’m only half way through my stay. I needed to extend. The entire staff I have encountered have been nothing but kind and courteous. And accommodating. I became ill on my trip and they have done what they can to make key exchanges and even a room change as quick and easy as possible for me along with well wishes. I will definitely be staying here again.

I accidentally left 2 jackets in the closet of my room. I realized it during my flight and I called the hotel as soon as I landed after the first leg of my flight. The person at the desk sent someone to check. The room had not even been made up yet but the jackets had been taken. I cannot recommend a place if the cleaning staff cannot be trusted. I’ll never stay here again.

When toilet did not work we were moved to another room very quickly. I appreciate the sense of urgency. Stuff happens and how your night clerk handled it so efficiently made it just a minor inconvenience. Everyone employee we encountered was polite and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Doubletree for the Gem Show for work. The service was wonderful. From the moment I checked in, it was quick and seamless topped off by a warm amazing chocolate chip Cookie. The breakfasts were tasty, filling and the service by the staff very friendly and attentive. Eneida went above and beyond to help me when I arrived at the tail end of the buffet. Housekeeping staff were very friendly, honest and respectful of all the things I had all over due to work and purchases at the gem show. I wish I had had the time to use the large jacuzzi A great stay. Will come back next year!

My check in was great. All staff that I interacted with during my stay were friendly. This is my second stay here, and both times I found the people to be a highlight. The room is large and clean. I will definitely return to this location again. It’s unique look and happy staff make it memorable.

The staff is friendly overall but I was initially given a key to a room that was already occupied, then given a key to another person’s room, and then had to wait 5-10 minutes to get back into my room after I was locked out (even after being granted a late check out). I’m appreciative of the friendly staff and their help in resolving the issues I had, but this was not what I’d expect from a Double Tree property, especially as a Hilton Honors gold member.

The hotel, location and room were all fine. The bar tender our first night was outstanding! She was very friendly and the food was good. At check in, the gentleman wasn't rude but seemed underwhelmed to be at work. He definitely wasn't welcoming. Our second night we needed some more towels and a roll of toilet paper. The gal who answered was very short and rude. I went up front to get the items and she was on another call rolling her eyes and raising her voice with the customer. I went back to the front lobby the next morning to grab a drink from the shop, she again was on another call showing no customer service and talking trash about the customer to a co-worker up front. I avoided the front desk/ lobby area the rest of the trip.

We woke up and had no water, we could not shower or use the toilet, the whole hotel was without water, they gave us 2 mini water bottles to brush our teeth and have a french bath. I went to the lobby and asked for a refund or coupon and told me that they couldn’t because i had booked through a third party, in this case, Expedia. Also the room had 3 lamps that the bulbs were not working so poor lighting inside the room!! They had no idea when the water was going to be running again. So, yes, the lady didn’t do much to help us.

Great location. Walkable to Starbucks, grocery and restaurants. Only 15min drive from the airport. This is basically an outdated motel. but the staff was excellent. The breakfast was standard, not horrible not exciting. Room rate was good, includes refrigerator and microwave and living room. The rooms face the pool so it can be loud.

Easy check-in process, front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The area us ok, just east of downtown. Entrance to the hotel from the street for cars is awkward. Overall, I would stay there again!

The staff was very helpful and very accommodating for our large party. The rooms were clean but things were missing, i.e. shampoo, conditioner, had to request additional towels, etc. The area is not the best but the hotel is much nicer than the surrounding area.

We stayed here for a couple of nights while driving to California. Overall the property was nice, I loved the feel inside the property- it gave resort vibes. The waitress at the restaurant on property is fantastic and so sweet and the front desk staff was helpful. The area outside of the hotel is pretty rough and not somewhere I’d necessarily venture out into at night unfortunately but the hotel itself made you forget where you were at times. We really didn’t leave much between the pool and restaurant (the complimentary breakfast was fantastic). Hotel linens could use a good cleaning, there were stains on the curtains and couch, including pillow, that were kind of gross. Overall we had a good experience and would return.

The restaurant has a severely limited menu. As a business traveler your days are long & the convenience of a in hotel cafe is a necessity. On the other hand the complimentary breakfast buffet is superior in comparison to other Brand Hotels I've stayed at.

Very warm, friendly welcome and efficient checkin by Alan complete with best warm choc chip cookie. Nice rooms in good condition, bar & grille with tasty food, great compĺimentary breakfast. Have enjoyed several stays here and will stay again.

I stayed at the Doubletree for the Gem Show for work. The service was wonderful. From the moment I checked in, it was quick and seamless topped off by a warm amazing chocolate chip Cookie. The breakfasts were tasty, filling and the service by the staff very friendly and attentive. Eneida went above and beyond to help me when I arrived at the tail end of the buffet. Housekeeping staff were very friendly, honest and respectful of all the things I had all over due to work and purchases at the gem show. They said they had made to order breakfast which they did not. It was a sad breakfast buffet. They stated they had a cocktail lounge, it was a six barstool counter top, 2 beer taps and only open late in the day. It was part of the breakfast room, very sad space. The front desk asked if we wanted our room serviced, if we did which day. We told them that Saturday would work for us. Early Saturday I called to cancel the maid service. When we returned later we found they did service our room, curious as to why they would not do as we asked.
