Fairfield Inn & Suites Temecula

Reserved the room with a friend for a winetasting weekend. The Hotel was clean, had comfortable beds and the staff was accomodating and friendly. It was not too far from the wineries and Karl Strauss brewery and other nice restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good except for the powdered scrambled eggs. The pool area could use a sprucing up a bit but we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Overall very good stay. Would stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I stayed here 3 nights for a family wine tasting get away. Booked 2 double queen rooms through Expedia, which falsely rated this place in the 8 range as very good. I thought the Marriott Bonvoy brand would provide a decent reputable quality experience but instead it was a poorly negative one. First night after check in, was unable to use the bathroom sink because the counter top was dirty and the pipe below the sink was broken and poured water onto the floor. The desk clerk was very apologetic and changed our room to king bed suite. That room had a horrible mildew smell and the mattress felt over 20 years old, lumpy all over with no support, just sunk in the middle. The next day, got into a different double queen room which had a better mattress but the TV was not working, which they later fixed. One of the two light fixtures in the bathroom did not work. The air conditioner in the the other queen room my kids stayed in was broke and they didn’t fix it. Thank goodness it wasn’t that hot of a weekend. Someone smoked marijuana in the next room which stunk badly. Pool: appears neglected, stained, unsafe and beach towels looked like worn old hand towels. Carpet in the hallways: were soiled and not vacuumed. Elevator: slow and small Stairwells: dirty, smelled horrible Overall: Dated hotel that does not maintain their facilities and apparently housekeeping and maintenance staff do not communicate.

Typical Marriott no bells or whistle but we always stay at one with jacuzzi and theirs was closed for the winter yet never stated on their website or Hotels website. That was the only disappointment. Other than that all was good.

Our stay was not so great. The refrigerator was filled with water and hot, did not seem to function. The room was also hot even after hours with the AC on 76 degrees, it was not cooling down because the bed is too close to the AC fan, so it was not flowing. The pool was the worst, salt water taste made our skin and eyes burn, I think it was worse than beaches I have visited. The next day I am still feeling my skin itch and just irritated from that water, got out of the pool quickly but the damage was done. My daughter cut herself on the stairs because they were not smooth, that pool is dangerous, bees and bugs everywhere too, not kid safe. The bed felt like a boat not firm but ok, we didn't rest much because of all the much noise from the freeway cars, and the breakfast lacked way more variety, watery eggs and ham in water was not appealing, I was also surprised they had a tip jar next to the food didn't expect that. I was truly sad because I expect more from a 'Marriott' but I can truly say I will never stay at this hotel again. Sorry for the negative review just could not believe the issues we had, plus the smoke smell coming from the AC at night was very frustrating. I think my kids would say what was the worst for them was the bugs and ants in the restroom. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone!

The rooms were dated, the pool and jacuzzi were closed. Staff was great.

The staff was amazing. The cleanliness of the room was not great. I always only book hotels with a hot tub and when I went to use it during my stay there was feces in the water. So that was a disappointment. I’m not sure I would go back.

It's mostly clean, but dated. Parking is dark and scary if it's late. People in lobby are friendly, but no service unless you need or ask.

I came in an hour early and was able to check in a little early. Really near good restaurants and shopping. Has Tesla charging nearby to property. Has laundry facilities too.

We had the two bedroom suite. It was nice, Big and clean

The room was cleaned, however the hallways from the hotel had crumbs all over the place and therefore the hallways needed to be vacuumed!

overall, everything was good. pleasant stay. I did have problem with noises from other rooms that the walls cannot seem to block out. Also, the TV was small and the pillows were small for a king bed. Other than these minor issues, although the hotel is dated, everything was clean and pleasant and helpful staff.

Very nice hotel but my room was a bit small. Need another waffle machine. Takes too long when crowded.

Main problem was lack of sound proofing between rooms. We could hear people walking around and other noises coming from the room directly above us.

So the staff is perfectly pleasant no issues there. However, the rooms are garbage. I staid in one of the suites with the living room and bedroom. The TV's had to be at least 25 years old. The furniture had to be at least double that. Also the TV int he bedroom didn't work. The TV in the living room shut itself off after about an hour and wouldnt come on for another couple of hours. The walls are paper thin. If your neighbor is having a converation and normal volume you're going to be able to hear every single word of it. Theres anohter location about 10 miles north of this one thats brand new - id probably give that one a shot before this. I was really disappointed. Oh there was also, strangly, a boombox in the living room. Which would be cool except I have respect for my neighbors.

Room was decent and comfortable except the fact that I could hear the sounds of the freeway all throughout the night which kept me awake. Could not believe that the hotel had no water pressure.

Very very bad value for the money, no better than hotels that are half the cost. Exactly what I was trying to avoid. Room was not clean and many items quite dated. TV did not work and looked like an outdated in-house system. Maintenance could not fix the tv and suggested we move rooms late at night rather than bring in functional equipment. Just wanted to relax eat and watch tv, couldn’t even do that which is the bare minimum. Smokers right outside the outside doors and guests and staff having loud telephone conversations in the staircase next to our room at night. Breakfast was good and staff were nice.

The rooms are very dated… The televisions are very small. The room I was in was also very small and next to an entrance door. The noise was just awful. Considering it was $500 for two nights… I expected more. I would not stay there again not with those prices.

I was there for only one night. Based on 1 day, the room was big with all necessities. Front desk was friendly, good breakfast and lot of dining options and big mall nearby.

Hope, the manager is amazing. She definitly is someone who understands customer service. She is alway delightful and excited to see her customers. The best part as well is the breakfast during the week. Amazing!

*1/5 Stars* *Disappointing Experience with Unflexible Management* I recently had to cancel my reservation at this hotel due to my son falling ill. Despite the exceptional circumstances, the management team refused to waive the cancellation fee (a full night charge). The lack of empathy and understanding from the management team was shocking. It's clear that they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. The hotel's inflexible policies and unwillingness to work with customers who face unforeseen circumstances are a major turn-off. Unless you're willing to risk being charged for a room you may not be able to use, I would strongly advise against booking with this hotel. *Pros:* None *Cons:* Inflexible management, poor customer service, unfair cancellation policies

The services by the front desk folks was superb.

Though our stay was prepaid in advance and I had a zero balance at the time of checkout, this hotel held $250 as a preauthorized hold and did not release the hold even though I called them several times to do so. Instead, $250 was deducted from my bank account though i was assured it would not. When i called the hotel again, i was told to just wait for several more days for a refund. Its ironic that they dont wait several days for payment and instead actually took the money from my bank account for no actual reason.

Poor customer service and bad attitude at check-in; Front desk agents need better training in providing quality hospitality not a poor attitudes and service.

I will say first,,, some of the staff there is amazing very kind, very friendly very helpful! On the other hand, I will take one staff member that was so kind to me the first time,, and then when something happened with my reservation, she decided to just deny my change of date.. I feel that there’s times where you can do a little bending and it makes you look better!! especially if you’re a manager.. I’m not taking this stay out of your pocket. I paid for it. 😉 It just goes to show you the kind of people we are around this world!! The hotel does need quite a bit of makeover… The carpet has got to go!! And your pool area needs to really get some cleaning out there. Aside from it all, I think it’s a nice area 😊

When we checked in the lady at the front was nice. We got to our room and there was no power except for the bathroom light. Went back stairs and she changed our room and was so super nice about it. The quiet breakfast was out and it was good went to our soccer tournament came back. Kids were playing in the pool and one of the head people came out to say they would have breakfast out a little bit earlier so we can all eat before we left for the soccer tournament the next day that is awesome for us parents. The inside is a little bit older, but still clean.

It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Needed a space for my family to stay in while I attend a concert. Also a place to stay after the concert. Great place. Staff are respectful and responsive. I am very grateful.

The property sits next to the freeway and behind a fast food restaurant so it was hard to find and undesirable people were hanging out there. Upon check-in, the room smelled musty but Staff were very friendly and accommodating even gave me a free room upgrade. The breakfast server was super friendly to everyone.
