This place was a gem! Loved having a balcony to sit outside, double hung windows for fresh air. I’m an analog girly and appreciated having a physical key. I had a suite with a kitchenette. Loved having a super dark room and the dishwater was my vibe. I don’t usually expect much from continental breakfasts, but I was really happy with their selection. Really loved this property and would stay again.

So the picture we see on the website available to us on Hotels.com did not look like the property we came up on. When booking a room with a patio with a "courtyard view" we assumed wrongly that it was a patio for that room and that the "courtyard" was something worth looking at. Instead it's a bench sitting by a window by the door about 8 ft from the next door's bench/window. The courtyard was a big dilapidated tree that had a huge moat like dug out around it and that was it. No flowers, grass and no water for the moat. Definitely not something you would want to sit outside and look at! Secondly, the wet sheets issue ............it's a hotel for God sake. Are they working with poor quality dryers or just saving $$ by not drying them completely? Full disclosure, we arrive early & asked about early check-in between 1230 and 1 pm when check in was 3 pm. The mgr said it would be about 15 min or so about 30 min later we got the key and entered the room. Checked the sheets & they felt extremely cold & damp. If they just came out of the dryer, why would they still be soooo cold?? Then we touched the pillowcases and they were definitely not dry. The housekeeper brought another set which were fine but the pillowcases were still damp,..ugh. Lastly, the doors (one to outside and one to hallway) had Vacant and occupied depending on if it was locked/unlocked. But you couldn't lock both & be gone. So somebody always knows when you're gone. Not a secure feeling at all! Won't return.

We would have appreciated coffee in the room. Nearly all hotels we have stayed at provide coffee pods and a coffee pot. We didn't mind walking to get coffee at the breakfast place, but appreciate coffee in the room. Also a major issue were the soap dispensers by the sink and in the shower. Very hard to squeeze out the soap - we are seniors but still hard for most people. Finally there was no hot foot items at breakfast - which would be eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.
