Overall the stay at Exploria was comfortable. Only thing I would point out is that they kindly offer shuttles to both Disney and Universal which is very helpful. However it is a shared service across several hotels so it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to get to the parks in the morning due to all the hotel pick ups. Would love to have known this ahead of time. Also the shuttles get full fast and you may not get a seat.

Great location, lots of things to do on property. The two bedroom condo was very spacious and plenty of room for the four of us. The pools were heated however the splash pad water park at Buccaneer Bay was not. The zip lining was very cool and my boys loved it they went multiple times. Decent food at the Kahuna Bar and Grill, sometimes service was a bit slow with only one person working the bar and food area. My only major complaint is that the marina was closed three of the days we were there so we were not able to rent jet skis when we wanted to.

Where was all the amenities they stated they had. The property needs major work. I stayed there once before years ago and loved it. Came back and it was nothing for kids to really do. They had 2 pools a kiddie pool/splash pad that half worked. It’s over hyped.

Pools are heated and facilities are super clean. You need to drive if you're in a far building but they offer rides and shuttles. Wal mart and Publix are super close. Lots of restaurants too. Staff were great too. Great place!! 5 star for sure

They decided to paint the main pool deck on sunday which was a huge inconvenience leaving little to no seating available as well as not being able to use the pool lift for my mother to get in and out the pool. As well as there are far too many masquitos in the area there must be some pesticides or something that can be done. Other than that family had a very nice time.

It’s a nice property with many things for families to do such as mini putt, basketball court, entertainment space and swimming pools. If you need anything, you have to keep calling front desk for it as they only provide housekeeping every seven days. Some times it’s easier to go to the front and pick up what you need instead of waiting for them to drop It off. The only drawback is if you plan on going to Disney or universal studios the shuttle service they provide isn’t one that is ideal. It only has one time slot to go to the parks and one slot to come back. If you don’t plan on visiting the parks then this is a good property to stay on.

There were lots of restaurants nearby. There was Kobe, Cava, Chipotle, Outback, Cracker Barrel, etc. stores to grab groceries and items you may have forgotten like Target, Walmart, Aldi, and Public. Our rooms were cute and clean. We had several pools, an arcade, pickle ball quarts, jet skis, etc. We were impressed.

The condo we stayed in was infested with bugs. The pool and other places around the resort was clean and the staff was friendly. But I won’t chance it again due to bugs and our sheets not being clean in one of the rooms. I had to wash the bedding the first night before going to sleep. There was makeup on the sheets.

We love this property so much. We had a bunch of things to do with the children. The only thing I would say is that it’s very dirty in your villa. The rugs are disgusting. They make your feet black at the bottom. The sink and tub area and like the floor part could’ve definitely been cleaned a lot better especially if you have one of the Jacuzzi’s. It’s all dusty in between. But other than that overall it’s a great resort. Just a cleaning needs to be better.

We stay here every month when visiting our special needs son. It has everything we need. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is excellent. Sometimes, the villas can be a bit noisy because kids are running around upstairs, but it's never been a big problem for us.

We found dirty dishes in dish washer, we also had a dirty diaper in the dining room. We had 5 people so needed couch bed, had to call for blankets, pillows and sheets. Blankets were ugly old blankets, no sheets for mattress. Staff took forever to do anything and not all our keys worked. Took over a hour to wait in line to check in and girl was doing the best she could but you really couldn't ask many questions as people waiting forever behind us too. employees at Buccaneer park were just rude. We have been visiting park since the year of the sinkhole over 20 years ago and this is the worst visit ever. My now grown son was eager to show his sons all the great times he had, lake was advertised with floating devices in water but nothing but 3 jet skies and 2 paddle boats which nobody was ever there to rent from. Imagine walking in to a dirty nasty diaper and dirty dishes when we wanted to eat. We left our dirty dishes in machine and barely cleaned up just the way we found it.

There was no cool water, only about 150 degrees, but once we told someone, the maintenance guy was there within the hour and fixed it. The place definitely has seen better days and looks rough in some spots but it was comfortable and convenient.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo, with 2 bathrooms for a family of 6 and it was amazing. Very clean, more than enough towels for everyone and pools towels too. Hot shower was very nice, more than enough water. Lots of pools available definitely will be back

We had a wonderful time!! The resort is lovely. I love the fact that they have so many pools, so you don’t have to worry about it being too crowded. The only negative things I would say is my room was a little outdated, it could use some upgrades and my bed was a little uncomfortable. My body was sore every morning. Otherwise it was tons of fun! Even with the two negative things, I would still stay again.

The room was great, but the tvs are extremely dated. An upgrade to smart tvs would really be helpful especially because the channels are different in each room. An option to use streaming services is pretty standard on most tvs now. Also, there werent any blankets. That would be nice as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Bay Orlando. The room seemed pretty new and was very clean. Pools and hot tubs were open late which was a plus as well. They were a bit pushy about getting you to do their time share pitch, but otherwise really great.

We had a difficult time checking in because they did not take American Express. The manager at the desk was not very helpful at all. Check in overall was a nightmare. The property was overall great. We had a house with a pool which was perfect. Property is clean but dated. Overall I would recommend. Just make sure you have the correct credit card for checking in.

Had a boil order for the water taped on the elevator, we didn’t need the elevator, our unit was on the first floor. Didn’t even provide us with bottled water. That went on the majority of our stay. They shut the water off for a few hours and said nothing. The sofa was broke , sliding door was broke. I could go on and on. Wouldn’t recommend!

This was my families 2nd stay at Summer Bay Orlando and we absolutely love it. My only complaint would be the check in process this year because the employee that checked us in wasn’t very friendly or personable and made us feel like we were bothering her by having her do her job BUT we refused to let that put a damper on our trip and we enjoyed every last minute of it!! This was my families 2nd stay at Summer Bay Orlando and we absolutely love it. My only complaint would be the check in process this year because the employee that checked us in wasn’t very friendly or personable and made us feel like we were bothering her by having her do her job BUT we refused to let that put a damper on our trip and we enjoyed every last minute of it!! We have stayed at Summer Bay Orlando once before. They have really upped their game! Everyone in the area is SO KIND. We were able to get what we needed quickly and really had a lovely family vacation. Lots for the kids to do, we only strayed from the resort to enjoy theme parks and some dinners - which is not how we usually travel. Thanks Summer Bay, we very much enjoyed our time with you.

We found dirty dishes in dish washer, we also had a dirty diaper in the dining room. We had 5 people so needed couch bed, had to call for blankets, pillows and sheets. Blankets were ugly old blankets, no sheets for mattress. Staff took forever to do anything and not all our keys worked. Took over a hour to wait in line to check in and girl was doing the best she could but you really couldn't ask many questions as people waiting forever behind us too. employees at Buccaneer park were just rude. We have been visiting park since the year of the sinkhole over 20 years ago and this is the worst visit ever. My now grown son was eager to show his sons all the great times he had, lake was advertised with floating devices in water but nothing but 3 jet skies and 2 paddle boats which nobody was ever there to rent from. Imagine walking in to a dirty nasty diaper and dirty dishes when we wanted to eat. We left our dirty dishes in machine and barely cleaned up just the way we found it.

They are under staffed, check in takes a long time . Their software seems like outdated because they couldn’t even find my Expedia reservation, a lot trouble checking in then the room key didn’t work, I had to go to my brothers house in the middle of the night because I couldn’t get into my room. Next day i came back to try to get into my room so I could check out and catch my flight and still , no even security could get in , after a lot of aggravation , they opened the door. There was not even anyone that cares or apologized for anything. I would never recommend this place .

Clean, quiet, well kept property. We had zero issues. Everyone was friendly. Felt safe with my family. Enjoyed the pools. Would come back again. We went to Disney and Universal 4 days so spent a lot of time there. Was a little bit of a drive but not bad when traffic was not bad. Needed a place with a full kitchen, fridge and washer and dryer.

Great price for the amenities and spacious units. Somewhat outdated furniture and appliances, bathtubs, carpets in the older buildings/villas. Our kitchen floor was sticky and clearly not mopped when we arrived. I wiped it down myself. Resort is located on a major highway which makes it very hard to turn out of the resort to get anywhere. Long lines of cars waiting.

The property and staff were wonderful! If our plan was to stay at the resort the whole time, it would have been perfect! The pools were amazing and the food on-site was good! Our issue was that we were in Orlando to visit the Theme Parks and it took over 40 minutes to get to Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and Disney - not the 15-20 min as advertised. The shuttle offered by the resort operates on a very limited schedule, so we ended up taking an Uber every day which worked well but wasn't what I had expected and added $$ to the trip.

The property had everything we needed available inside the condo. Transportation was provided to and from the grocery store. The property offered a lot to do to keep my family busy and entertained. The property was in a great location with nearby restaurants. We were able to find delicious steamed blue crabs only about 1 mile away which was a huge plus for me. The staff was also very friendly.

We had a blast staying at SummerBay for a week with 3 teenagers. The property is well landscaped and has beautiful pools. They have basketball and pickleball courts, pool table, and mini golf. The food was reasonably priced and the staff friendly. Anytime we needed something for our room, they quickly helped. Lots of local food nearby. We loved the food trucks across the street. We will definitely be back!

Early check in was a plus. It was quiet. The food from the grill at the outside pool was pretty delicious yet pricy because they automatically add damn 18% gratuity. The trash bags provided could’ve been a little thicker they were all too thin designed for the bathroom waste cans. Otherwise pretty friendly environment

We always try to go to Summer Bay for our vacations. The ONLY disappointment is Club 601 CONSTANTLY closing early. What is the sense of a New Years vacation or Christmas vacation if you cannot enjoy one of your most beautiful features. My God, she barely put the beer down and I had a tab at 7pm!?!?!?!?

Nice rooms and grounds. The staff were all great! Big Kahuna bar and grill was really fun. The Italian restaurant was always empty and seemed like the food court at the mall. We didn't eat there, except for an ice cream sundaes. It's got a nice kitchen area, but realize that there isn't cleaning service during your stay, so guests need to make beds and clean-up after themselves. I recommend Summer Bay.

My stay was amazing, we enjoyed the activities they had. Staff were very helpful. The resort is clean, the food could be better. They need to give more amenities when more than one person is staying especially when the resort charges per person. We definitely will be returning. Staff and guests were all very kind.

The rooms and reception at the hotel were good, super clean. I congratulate the waitresses. The only thing is that the cafeteria burns the pizzas, as if they don't like to work. The kitchen is very tough. When I had to repeat it, they were unethical and had poor manners. The rest was very good.

Im sad we discovered this gem in the process of moving away from Florida, its awesome for renting condos as a resort over a hotel room. Ive stayed in several resorts and this one is by far the best, even at the prices are fair. We plan on doing a Disney trip next year and plan on staying here again. Amenities were clean and very kid friendly, the pricing of the restaurants is very reasonable and accommodating to keep kiddos distracted with pool activities while waiting for food. I strongly recommend if you have a family stay here.
