Motel 6-Ocala, FL - Conference Center

The staff lacked. No one was at the front desk. When we got into the room we were swarmed by flies and fruit flies. The room smelled moldy and not cleaned. The bed had a stain on the sheet. Dog food in the corner. Coarse hair everywhere. Stains on toilet. When checking out again no one was there. A random lady came in and said oh I guess I’ll take care of you even though I just wanted a room. Told her the problems and then she said “oh you don’t want to sleep with flies”. She gave me a refund and we left. When hotels.com tried to call to verify no one answered the phone call. She called about 5 times. I got a refund.

Rheume look like it had been made up the bed was made but I found a bag of fast food empty containers and fast food drink in the refrigerator and on the counter. The soap on the vanity was half used there was no new one there was a small very thin towel in adequate to drive me even after one shower (normal person). Room 135 right outside the smoking area the room smelled like an ashtray I already knew there were no other rooms available. I knew this because 10 people were waiting to check in as the police and fire department had swarmed the property because of an overdose. Would only recommend staying here as last resort as we did

Check-in was 3:00 pm, and my room was not ready. The front desk clerk had a friend there with her behind the desk and had her go check my room. When she came back, she said it was "cleanish". We took the room because we needed to change for a concert an hour away. There were no blankets on the beds, only sheets, and each bed had only 1 pillow. There were what looked like blood stains on the wall. It could have been my fault that the room was not entirely clean, but when you have a reservation, I expected it to be ready, especially since I called ahead requesting an early check-in, and my reservation was confirmed.

This establishment needs some help ? Not enough wash clothes and towels in the room not enough soap z, just a bad experience at this time.

Ew no way I’ll ever stay again
