Very nice room, excellent staff, and good location close to the Ferry. Noicy traffic in the morning (room at first floor) and no toiletbrush. Sauna american standard … but we are saunapeople from Scandinavia, so if your not, its ok (but more a place for warm up, if you are cold, not a real sauna). But very nice place, good room, clean and excellent staff. I would definitely choose the same hotel if coming back

This place is rad. Quick walk from the ferry. Room was cozy. King bed comfy. Pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna and gym were great. People were so friendly. Restaurant and bar looked nice but we walked to Waterside and The Attic for all our meals. Super easy. 10/10. Would return.

This was a beautiful hotel in the heart of Vineyard Haven. Everything was wonderful, attentive staff, clean and inviting. Unfortunately, neither the hot tub jets nor the sauna were working.

Excellent inn. We had 4th floor harbor view with a small balcony (see photo). Gorgeous! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They lent us beach chairs and towels to go to the town beach. There is a full gym plus pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Clean and well maintained. We used them all free of charge. Check-in was quick and easy. Decent breakfast bar in the morning - coffee, teas, cereal, packaged muffins, cookies, and hard boiled eggs. Check-out was simple and they let us leave our bags for the day while we shopped. All in all, a wonderful stay.

The property was clean, staff very hospitable and the room lovely. The only draw back is that they don't have a kitchen so I felt breakfast was kind of lacking. The spa was ok. My masseuse was late to the appointment. But overall, it was a nice place to stay.

A real gem. Beautiful hotel close to everything. Island buses are free bike trails to the island are nearby. ( free bike storage) Hotel breakfast is not a healthy choice Its just “ grab n go” But if yogurt & coffee are your morning then grab n go. Otherwise just go. Excellent weight room pool and hot tub Checkout the rooftop view!

It's a really nice paste.They're really nice people.But there was hair in the bed, and the sheets on both beds.It looks like they just made the bed again and didn't change the linen from the previous occupants.And it was kind of gross

Our stay at Mansion House was underwhelming. We chose this place because of how highly rated it was, but once we arrived and checked in, it was just your average, run-of-the-mill small business hotel. I could tell that this place was updated in the early 2000s because it still looked/felt like the early 2000s. I understand that small businesses were hit hardest by the pandemic a few years ago, but small fixes like carpet tiles that were coming up in the hallway were very present the more we spent time looking around. MH needs an update to warrant the per night stay rate, yes, even in the busy season. Hotel staff were extremely crippled by the establishment's policies. They were unwilling and unable to break said policy in the middle of crisis, within 4 hours of our booking and attempting to correct our mistake. The desk staff also promised the GM would contact me and that never happened. Instead, we were offered a bottle of champagne, but we don't drink. My husband used the sauna, which was lukewarm at best and he said the pool's tiling looked very dirty. The hotel is a wonderful location and very convenient, just be aware that if you have a city view, you will hear all the traffic and things beginning at 5:30am.

Renovated with charm. 5 minute walk from ferry. Room and bathroom very clean, with a fireplace. Shopping, groceries, restaurants all within walking distance. No beach access without driving to a beach. Parking available behind the hotel.

Very nice place to stay. Located within walking distance of the ferry and located on the street with shops and dining. Only negative thing is our room was located next to the street so we could hear all of the traffic going by.

Cute place. Friendly staff. The rooms are big. The hotel is on the main road therefore it is noisy. You can hear the cars going by. It is in a good spot near lots of small shops and restaurants for this part of the island. Near the ferry that transports the cars to the island.

Room is 85 degrees and I can’t control the temperature. eco thermostat is broken $900 per night and the AC doesn’t work I told the front desk and so did my wife they nothing. They told me move around the t stat will wake up in 20 minutes. How do you move around in in bed! So stupid.

TV didn't have cable so I couldn't watch the Celtics or the Bruins playoffs. They said they'd send someone to look at it but never did. When I was leaving I heard a guy at the front desk saying the same thing. I bet he's still waiting too. If you stay here for work, don't expect the TV to work.

The Hotel was centrally located in downtown Vineyard Haven! Room was spacious and very comfortable! Staff was warm and welcoming! Only complaint was the location of the room! It was on the first floor and right off the lobby! It was next to cleaning supplies also! As a result the room was extremely noisy till pretty late at night! Not sure why they put us in that room as the Inn was not full!

Hotel is located in lovely Vineyard Haven, close to the boat, shopping, restaurants, and beach. Hotel staff were attentive and pleasant. The room is adequate and immaculate. It was drafty and the heat was limited to 72 so I was cold. Nice restaurant on premise. I would definitely stay here again.

I ended up having an unexpected one night stay at the Mansion House when my flight home from MV was cancelled due to bad weather. My stay was very pleasant and Trey at the front desk was particularly wonderful and helpful in that i had to scramble to make plans to get off the island at that point. He could not have been nicer! I really appreciated my stay there and would stay again!

What a wonderful experience. We checked in on Monday, 5/01. Chelsea was very helpful and our room was ready so she let us check in early. We returned to the room after lunch and the hotel phone rang. It was Lisa at the front desk asking if our room was satisfactory and if we needed anything. I told her that everything was great and happened to mention that we were getting ready to go to dinner for our anniversary. Two minutes later there was a knock on the door. They delivered a bottle of Champagne and 2 glasses. We enjoyed it that evening on their beautiful cupola while enjoying the beautiful views. We highly recommend the Mansion House Inn & Spa for their service and convenient location to the ferry. Thank you to all the staff who helped make our stay so great.

The Mansion House was absolutely wonderful! From the time I first inquired about the rooms and their fitness facilities, their customer service was exceptional! Although a trainee (I had no idea he was only in training as he was outstanding - professional and informed, he and Jordan, along with the General Manager Bryan created a welcoming environment. The room was extraordinarily clean and comfortable, the view from The Mansion House was one of the Best on Martha’s Vineyard!

I understand that small businesses were hit hardest by the pandemic a few years ago, but small fixes like carpet tiles that were coming up in the hallway were very present the more we spent time looking around. MH needs an update to warrant the per night stay rate, yes, even in the busy season. Hotel staff were extremely crippled by the establishment's policies. They were unwilling and unable to break said policy in the middle of crisis, within 4 hours of our booking and attempting to correct our mistake. The desk staff also promised the GM would contact me and that never happened. Instead, we were offered a bottle of champagne, but we don't drink. My husband used the sauna, which was lukewarm at best and he said the pool's tiling looked very dirty. The hotel is a wonderful location and very convenient, just be aware that if you have a city view, you will hear all the traffic and things beginning at 5:30am.

TV didn't have cable so I couldn't watch the Celtics or the Bruins playoffs. They said they'd send someone to look at it but never did. When I was leaving I heard a guy at the front desk saying the same thing. I bet he's still waiting too. If you stay here for work, don't expect the TV to work.

We enjoyed our stay at Mansion House Inn & Spa . It’s conveniently located in walking distance of several great shops and restaurants. Our room was very cozy. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony, which overlooked Main Street. Everyone at Mansion House was very helpful, warm and welcoming. This was our first visit to Martha’s Vineyard but it won’t be our last!

Staff was very kind and helpful. Immediate area around hotel is safe, but a tad noisy early on morning (trash trucks, etc. and standard “start the day” activities - just wasn’t ready for it at 6:30am). Ferry boat is close so you hear the horn… but you get used to it very quickly. Most food places close around 9pm - but the @ttic (attic) was open until 10. Good food. Area heyday was probably a few years ago, but a neat town. Enjoyed watching the boats in the harbor. This is not high end shopping district… this is local shopping stores and boutiques. “Martha’s madness” is by far the best ice cream around (I’d call myself a connoisseur…) We didn’t get a car from Logan airport and I was a little concerned about how to get around MV - but glad we didn’t get a car. I don’t know that I’ve ever relied on public transportation before - but it was very cheap and highly efficient on getting around town to town. Works well….

Renovated with charm. 5 minute walk from ferry. Room and bathroom very clean, with a fireplace. Shopping, groceries, restaurants all within walking distance. No beach access without driving to a beach. Parking available behind the hotel.

To have the restaurant open for three meals daily. The lobster bisque was excellent. Create a bus stop in front of the Mansion House for the convenience of your guest to use for traveling to other areas of the island. Or supply a shuttle service that stops in several areas of the island that benefit your guest.

Mansion House was amazing. The staff was welcoming and always helpful. The rooms were perfect. The hotel was situated and easily walkable to all shops and restaurants and boats. The restaurant connected was amazing but so was all of the restaurants and shops. It was a very amazing and relaxing experience!!!!!!

Excellent inn. We had 4th floor harbor view with a small balcony (see photo). Gorgeous! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They lent us beach chairs and towels to go to the town beach. There is a full gym plus pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Clean and well maintained. We used them all free of charge. Check-in was quick and easy. Decent breakfast bar in the morning - coffee, teas, cereal, packaged muffins, cookies, and hard boiled eggs. Check-out was simple and they let us leave our bags for the day while we shopped. All in all, a wonderful stay.

The property was clean, staff very hospitable and the room lovely. The only draw back is that they don't have a kitchen so I felt breakfast was kind of lacking. The spa was ok. My masseuse was late to the appointment. But overall, it was a nice place to stay.

A real gem. Beautiful hotel close to everything. Island buses are free bike trails to the island are nearby. ( free bike storage) Hotel breakfast is not a healthy choice Its just “ grab n go” But if yogurt & coffee are your morning then grab n go. Otherwise just go. Excellent weight room pool and hot tub Checkout the rooftop view!

Pleasant hotel, in a nice location. Entirely overpriced for what it offers. It is priced as a luxury hotel, which it is not, it’s just a pleasant historic B&B. To bring it to the luxury price point, there needs to be decent furniture (instead of coastal flea market pieces), luxury bedding, luxury towels, other little touches like espresso maker, free condiments, mini bar… And don’t even get me started on “breakfast” - it was like a summer youth hostel (no fruit, no real milk, nothing but cheap cereal boxes). The full service gym with swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna was nice, but overcrowded, because membership and day passes are freely available to non-hotel guests. Still, if you must keep up with your workouts on vacation and go in the off hours, the gym may make the hotel price worthwhile for you.
