Pool could be Cleaner

Mold in the bathroom, pool was green. Breakfast included was only toast and yogurt the first day.

Does the trick. Nothing fancy. Staff was good with no issues. Rooms could have been cleaner. Was 2 mosquitoes squished on walls and an old empty bag of chips behind the bed. Pool was dirty on bottom and fair amount of leaves

Rooms have indoor and outdoor access as a bonus

Not family friendly. No laundry. Mildew everywhere.

The pool was dirty and cloudy, there was trash around.grounds .. door stuck in room, had to shove to close... Toilet was clean, fixtures in shower/tub appeared to have some mold around them. but the area it is in was convenient to our needs.. for price of room, will not be staying again... Please know owner/employee's, they were very friendly though...

Hotel rooms need work. Pool was closed and not clean. Registration office and continental breakfast was nice.

Parking very close. Food was light must to have to get there before 8:30 am.

This was nice distance from beach, pool was good for kids, shower was very and strong water pressure. Room was clean enough if a little damp smelling.

When I first entered the room it smelled like cleaner and that only faded slightly over a 3 day duration. A/C worked, shower small but worked Bathroom the caulking was all discoloured. Carpet seemed clean and the bed was clean However I couldn't sleep for a noise in the room and the last day there after I stripped the whole bed off the frame - I found mice - plural. I'm not ok with that at all. Harsh cleaner smell and mice and when I went to the front desk nobody came at all - I half figure they saw I was upset. Only thing I really enjoyed was the restaurant Thai For You and Bobs Clams.

Room was decently clean, however, could’ve been better. Shower was brown and moldy. Towels were stained. Room had two adjoining rooms I was not aware of. Property was smoke free, however there were smokers next door. Overall, not impressed with our stay. Will not be returning.

Upon check in, it took the front desk clerk 10 minutes to come out so we could check in. After check in, we went to our room and found it to be very old and outdated. The room also had a very bad smell to it. My wife went and checked the beds and found the each bed to have bed bugs. We immediately packed up and left the room. We went to the front desk to make our complaint and check out because there was no way I was going to subject my wife and two grandchildren to the filth we had just encountered. I also forgot to mention the pool. My wife and granddaughter went to check the pool prior to checking the beds only to find it full of leaves and filthy also. My wife was then met my a gentleman outside our room who stated that the man who cleaned the pool had recently quit. Upon speaking with the front desk clerk, my wife was asked if we wanted a different room to which she answered, yes, at a different motel and demanded a refund. The front desk clerk said he would have to check with his manager and went to the back room. He returned stating the refund would have to be issues by Expedia because that was who the reservation was made with even though it was clearly made through Hotels.com. We then had to scramble to find another room at the last minute with two tired 11 year olds. Never ever again.

The online photos do not align with the condition of this motel, it's run down and sad. There was mold on the shower ceiling and visible soap scum around the tub. The air quality in the room was poor and the a/c unit & refrigerator were the loudest I've ever experienced. I literally had to sleep with a pillow covering my ears. The desk staff were pleasant enough, though. Check-in and out were easy. But I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone.

Musty smell, popcorn kernels on the rug, hair on the sheets, mold on the shower curtain and a toilet that needs to be flushed 3 times. Ugh…

The Coachman is an aging, roadside hotel. It's generally quiet, clean, and safe, the staff is friendly, but the property itself looks well worn, like it was last renovated in the late 1980s or early 90s. Most of the furniture is worn, and some of the chair legs look like they've been chewed on. One positive worth noting - the internet is free and VERY fast. I had multiple video conferences and streamed movies without any hiccups.

Very old and worn. Stains in carpet, ceiling, calking around tub. Hallway floor uneven. Good strong water pressure and hot water. Staff friendly. Bed was comfortable. Quiet.

Kicked off the internet frequently. Floor felt damp. You could hear people above and beside you. Bed was okay, pillows were comfy. A place to rest our heads.

The room was huge! 3 beds, 2 bathrooms and lots of space. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was very quiet at night. Staff was very friendly. Close to all the outlet shops.

This motel is so old, and dated. It’s clean, and has a bed and a bathroom. That’s about all I can give it. Would definitely not be a place I would book again.

Very nice staff, and the rooms are large but everything’s very outdated and we had no hot water at night.

Property was relatively clean, but very run down. Floors are uneven, room thermostat was in the upper corner of the bathroom behind the toilet- almost completely inaccessible . The floor of our room was sloped and items rolled off the table & the bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way. 2nd day the coffee machine at breakfast was broken. Location is very convenient to outlets.

A great location near the Outlets. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The towels were looking a little dingy, but smelled clean. It is definitely in need of updating.

Overall it was ok! When we first got there our room smelled like blunts. Service was accommodating and moved us to another room. Unfortunately I can’t rate it higher basically because our room had 2 doors so we heard people from both sides coming and going. The AC there doesn’t run constantly, and we like noise when we sleep so that was disruptive shutting off and on all night. Plus it took a while to cool down the room completely. It was clean, and the pillows were comfortable. Great location though, 10-15 mins from York and about same from Portsmouth! Also the shops are right across the street! … rating is Nothing really personal, just preference.

The Coachman Inn is very tired. Sagging ceiling in room 50 with ceiling paint peeling along the outside edge (toward parking area). Room is small but could feel a bit larger if there was not so much furniture stuffed into the room. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We only needed a room for 5 hours from 9am to 2pm. I explained this to a nice young man named Jay. I was hoping to get a reduced rate. There was no flexibility and I had to pay for 2 days. We didn’t even spend a night. Sometimes it’s good customer service to make an exception to the rules. Maybe we could have paid for one night and then an extra charge for staying 3 hrs past check out time of 11am. It would have been very nice but having to pay for 2 nights under this circumstance doesn’t seem reasonable. Maybe Coachman Inn should consider this going forward. Thank you for your time. I had 2 rooms booked, individually. The hotel said we could keep the same room both nights. We are from Canada, so our phones were not on. And when we had a bit of wifi, I was not going through emails. They emailed on my 2nd day asking when I would be checking in,??? We arrived later afternoon, they disconnected our room key and the front desk made me go throughtg the entire check in process again?? Required my name, ID, credit card for incidentals...THEY HAD ALL THIS.

Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Pet walking area. Safe, close to hwy on/off and price is in-line. Good spot for good quiet nites sleep and hit the road early.

This place is a dump. People live in it and they are loud and smoke cigarettes. Nobody is at the front desk in the evening or morning. They do not answer the phone our toilet seat was broken off and nobody bothered to check the machine or answer the phone and then blamed me for not telling them. It’s filthy poorly lit loud and smoke filled if your looking for an expensive flea bag motel with terrible service try this place

The Coachman Inn was a pleasant place to stay. The staff was freindly and knowledgeable. The room decor is not modern/older style, but the room & bathroom were clean and well equipped. The room was quiet and perfect for a good nights sleep. I would stay there again.

We checked in later than we thought and the young man at the desk was very nice. We asked to change our room as I need ed a first floor and he went out of his way to help me.

It was easy to find. Great candy shop next door. Breakfast is only hot on the weekends. Front desk staff was never available.

We have stayed here a couple of times the last few months. We enjoy our stay each time. The rooms are nice and always clean.

The hotel was adequate for the price. The rooms were clean, staff was courteous. The "breakfast" is very basic, they need vending machines. Overall a good!

This hotel really showing its age. Could see where things were repaired with spare parts whether they matched or not especially with bath fixtures. Breakfast was extremely limited.

No breakfast. No place to leave key after early checkout . If not offering breakfast for winter. Must advertise this. Considering price room was very clean . Bed to hard for my liking. Pillows very small this is unusual.

Even though the room was "supposed" to be non-smoking, it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There were small cigarette burn marks on the bathroom sink and tub. The tub was clogged and slowly drained. The eggs and sausage were only for the weekends, but they didn't tell you that. Only toast and small pastries. And, 2 choices of very generic cereal. The room was outdated, but the staff were nice. The bed was comfortable though.

The property is a decent but not well maintained. I stayed for 2 nights the package included BF but once we reached we were informed that they don’t serve BF for some reason. Which was totally disappointing.

Cost compared to other area hotels was good. We were not happy with the breakfast options- too much processed food. Need some fiber, wheat and/or grain bread and fresh fruit.
