The building is perfect for a conference. Parking in the garage directly across the street. The staff were very professional and friendly. I had an issue with part of the bill and they fixed it. They listened. Very meaningful! The gym, pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were all awesome! The elevators made me feel more safe. You can't get to a floor without tapping your card on a sensor inside the elevator and then pressing your floor number. Super cool!! Only odd thing is housekeeping comes every other day instead of every day. Which is fine. But then our housekeeper didn't come at all till we called front desk. Once we called she came right up. But still, shouldn't have to call.

This hotel used to be so nice and a treat to stay at. Our visit this time was very disappointing. The pool and hot tub area were disgusting- looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. There was weird stuff floating in the pool. Bandaids and trash all around the pool area. Cans of beer on the floor in the hallways and trash everywhere. Bar and store were closed for renovations. Room service closed at 10. Won’t stay here again

I honestly can't find anything I did not like about the property. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was large and had 3 levels. I certainly enjoyed the fact that inside the hotel there were three different restaurants and a very large hot tub and pool.

I recently stayed at the Radisson in downtown Kalamazoo and wanted to share my experience. While the hotel has potential and is currently undergoing renovations, several aspects of my stay were disappointing and need improvement. To start, the pool area had only towels available, which was inconvenient. The adjacent locker room was dirty, with very worn toilet seats, and the toilet paper dispenser actually fell off the wall while I was trying to use it. A particularly frightening moment happened when I went to use the feminine product dispenser. As I turned the handle, the entire left side of the unit detached from the wall and almost hit my two-year-old in the face. It was a very scary situation, and thankfully I was able to catch it in time. I understand that the hotel is under renovation, including the lobby and Burdick’s restaurant. However, it would be helpful to better accommodate guests during this time—perhaps by extending Starbucks’ hours or offering a texting service for simple guest needs. For example, we had pizza delivered and had requested plates and napkins from the restaurant, but those were forgotten. With limited dining options and renovations underway, some added convenience would go a long way. I also called the front desk to request two additional bottles of shampoo and conditioner after using the pool so I could wash my little ones’ hair. What was brought up wasn’t what I asked for, and the conditioner that was provided was terrible & not in room.

Overnight parking in the parking ramp was $48. Absolutely crazy given what the room charge is. Street parking is limited and the vehicle isn’t safe. Tons of homeless people wondering around the area. The hotel is nice though.

There was an issue with my room and the unsafe/unhealthy used syringe found by my bed. I found that when we returned late last night after my performance at the Jungle, otherwise I would not have stayed there at all. I believe that a "discount" of $40.OO does NOT even touch the point of fulfilling the Radisson's promise and "pledge of Cleanliness". I requested the hotel management to follow up and find a more amenable solution to convince me to ever return there.

Room bathroom was literally the smallest I’ve ever been in in a hotel - you have to slide yourself between the toilet and vanity to close the door. Pillows very small and not comfy. Bed ok. Food expensive, and not very good. Sorry we couldn’t report better!

Rooms are impeccably clean and the facilities/amenities are decent. Proximity to the university campuses is fantastic and there are good dining opportunities on the premises. The rooms are fine, but do not have any drawers...NONE. When we pointed this out we were offered hangers but I have never put socks or underwear on hangers so be prepared to live out of your suitcase if you stay here. They also tout that they just remodeled but their design team definitely dropped the ball on functionality. Also, the air conditioner wasn't working very well and our room got pretty hot.

Our little family of 3 stayed here, including a 1 year old. Got in around 10pm. Parked across the street and took an elevator to the skyway, which was really nice and convenient. We checked in with the front desk. The person checking us in seemed tired or just “not in the mood” or something but wasn’t rude and got us checked in and explained parking and check out. We only stayed one night but liked that we read that the elevator only allowed guests to use so it made us feel safer as we were not familiar with the city. Our room was clean and cozy. We showered and went to bed. The only noise we really heard were thundering from the storm and police sirens in the early morning. Good stay.

one of the headboard reading light was not working. It wasnt clear that breakfast was extra. the front staff made it seem it was included. i could have went somewhere else for breakfast. it wasn't that good.

The room and the staff were nice. However, we chose the hotel because of Burdick's sports bar and it restaurant located at the hotel for convenience. When we booked we were not told the bar was closed and that there was no room service. There were other hotels nearby for a better price that had identical amenities when you take those two amenities out. Therefore, it was not a good value stay.

We loved this hotel. Everything was perfect. Ease of check-in, parking, the room décor, a noon check out time, the restaurants, amazing friendly helpful staff and the location. The onsite restaurants were delicious. Brick and Brine- 5 star and also the breakfast buffet -5 star. It is also in the heart of everything- boutiques, craft breweries, restaurants etc..... all in a safe walking distance. We will be back. Thank you!

Upgrade was a nice room on top floor with access to lounge with snacks and breakfast. Although bathroom was kind of tight, it had extra towel and bathrug. Extra pillow on bed was a plus Starbucks in lobby along with a great restaurant (Brick and Brine) was a nice plus!
