Days Inn by Wyndham Lancaster PA Dutch Country

Although it was under construction it didn’t look like floors in hallway were vacuumed. Room was okay but very outdated.

The hotel appears very old on the outside, it is currently undergoing renovations so the inside looks much better.

Open air parking lot available. Rooms were clean. Very short staffed at the time.

no elevator.

The staff was courteous, the rooms were clean, but I would not spend more than one night at this hotel. There was no coffee maker in the room, the ice machine was disgustingly dirty, our remote didn’t work for the TV, and what is considered a light breakfast was VERY light.

We stayed for 5 days they put us in a room right under construction so all we heard from 8 am to 9 pm was saws hammers banging and I told them a few times that we couldn't sleep it was to much noise I have a 1 year old and she was scared to death the whole time and they wouldn't do anything about it I will never go back there.

Free Parking but property itself is old and looks like it's falling down. Hallways carpet look very bad and smell horrible. Rooms are clean, upgraded with enough space. No extra pillows were available. Breakfast is non-existent. Safe neighborhood.

We arrived at the days in Lancaster Dutch County and did not even stay for more than five minutes. We were taken to our room on the second floor, where we found about 15 workers in the hallways with hazmat suits on painting and working. They expected us to stay in the rooms, although the toxic fumes were everywhere and the noise was insane. Only after we complained did they decide to show us a first floor room, which was so dirty and had the same distinct toxic odor. We still have not heard from a manager, nor was our room refunded, despite the fact that it wasnt even safe to stay there. Terrible experience and I would never ever recommend anyone staying there.

There was a serious mold problem in the hotel. Half of the ceiling in the lobby bathroom was covered in black mold. IT WAS VERY SCARY! (WE TOOK PICTURES.) When we showed the bathroom ceiling to the desk attendant, he said that it hadn't been that way the day before (but I seriously doubt that much mold had happened overnight). We told him that it was a very dangerous situation and that the bathroom should be locked and not allowed to be used. Later, when we passed through the lobby again, we saw that the bathroom was still open and that the door had not been locked. Also, in addition to a few small mold spots on the walls surrounding our bathtub and in the grouting around the bathtub, the bathtub itself was very dingy.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Had a good stay.

Walked in and the front desk was very rude. There was blood on the wall and bed, dirty linen, the place was filthy and I couldn’t get a refund or anything.

Room was clean, comfortable and staff was very helpful.

Pleasant staff, clean room, quiet.

BEDBUGS. we were literally attacked by bed bugs and staff didn’t care or even seem surprised. manager has now ignored us for 9 hours regarding a refund as we couldn’t even finish our night because of the extreme itching and literal bed bugs crawling on us and our belongings.

The room smelled, hairs in the shower

My daughter and I checked into room 215 at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Lancaster Pennsylvania on 4/25/25 and checked out on 4/27/25. When I arrived home Sunday night, my mother noticed that I had bites all over my arms, face, neck hands and legs to which I thought they were mosquitoes bites. For the next few days the bites continued to get more itchy and irritated. I was finally able to get to an urgent care on 5/3/25. Upon being examined by a physician, I was told that these bites were caused by bed bugs. I immediately called the Days Inn on Saturday afternoon around 1pm and the gentleman who answered the phone didn’t bother to write my name down nor did he ask which room I was in. He had no sense of urgency when I explained to him what I had discovered. This is absolutely disgusting and I am completely dissatisfied. To make matters worse, the hall ways were filthy due to construction, the noise at night kept me up and the breakfast so cheap! As of 5/6/26 nobody has reached out to me to discuss this issue nor get a refund !

Toilet overflowed. Employee used our towels n never replaced. Found cockroach climbing up wall.

Our room had a terrible odor. We were able to switch rooms, and the next room smelled even worse. We tried to spend as little time as possible in the room.

Tv did not work and we were told they could not fix it until the next day when we were scheduled to leave. The head of the shower fell off when one of my friends was taking a shower.

The room was very outdated

Walking around the room turned my white socks black. The overall condition was good otherwise. The beds were not comfortable to sleep in, but we are older and require a bit more softness. The continental breakfast could have had a few more choices. So, we would not return to stay as other hotels in the area comparably priced have been better.

Heater was not working properly either hot or cold could not adjust. Did not like the constant texting and being called when we would get there. Did not like having to put a $ 150.00 cash deposit. Did not have room service, had to get towels and washcloths every night.

The location of the motel was great but it's very much in need of a renovation. The room showed signs of wear. The bathroom walls had noticable water stains from the shower. The bed was very comfortable, I got a very good night's sleep. It is located on US route 30, with traffic noice, do you may want to wear earplugs if you're a light sleeper (I am and wore earplugs, so no issues).

It was a fine and decent establishment. My only complaint was that their wifi was out but otherwise it was alright

What a disappointment. We got a room the furthest away from everything. Used the back door key card for entry, just a bit unsettling at night. The room itself, was outdated & antiquated. Clean? I guess. The floor without carpet (which is better) seemed clean. The bed was semi comfortable. The sheets were very rough. Wiped off the remote, cause you know it is the dirtiest thing in the room. Then wiped off all other surfaces. Then the bathroom. The toilet seat had a swivel seat. (loose). Rough TP. Towels were nice. The sink was clean until the black stuff started coming off the grout under the sink & faucet. Gross. The bathtub/shower/showerhead was disgraceful. I went to the front desk in the morning to ask that the tub/shower be cleaned. Went out, came back later, the room was cleaned, bed made, if the tub was cleaned it didn't do any good. It was disgusting. There was no-way we were getting in that tub/shower. Even with a 2 day stay-waited to we got home. We were very uncomfortable in the room. The breakfast consisted of bread, toast and OJ and the coffee was not good at all. Not worth the long walk from the back of the building to just grab a quick coffee. Just a note about other guests, what a bunch of miserable people....were they just as unhappy with the hotel as we were or just unfriendly. So if we visit Lancaster again we'll find another hopefully better place to stay.

Checked out a day early still waiting on refund. Air conditioner was loud and leaving water everywhere

Room was very clean and spacious. Really enjoyed the extra space. Bed was older outdated, but we were told rooms were being redone this March, so we'll see when we go back.

Stayed one night. Decent room. Was supposed to have 2 queen beds but there wasn’t any available so they upgraded us to one with a jacuzzi tub with no extra cost

The girl who checked me in was friendly and helpful.

Decided to stay regardless of the reviews because the hotel we had stayed at before was sold out. We arrived and I woke up the next day with bites all over which I assumed were bed bugs. We were there 2 nights. My mom saw something in the bathroom bent down to see and sure enough it was a bed bug so she went down to talk to the front desk. The guy just looked at her like if it was normal. He asked if we wanted to switch rooms and she said of course, he said he would get back to us in 30 minutes. Never heard back and we had a show to go to so we just left the next morning never coming back. Should of requested a refund all 4 people in the room left with bites its ridiculous should be closed down.

The staff was friendly and professional

Front desk rep. States she Was new and didn’t see our reservation with Hotel.com on phone call yesterday (for late check in). Just went straight to hotel and showed email but I believe was a lousy service as as turned away on phone, didn’t even know how tonsil up my name but a guy previous night confirmed the stay. She needs more customer service training with Wyndham hotels as that’s bad for the business.

I will never stay here again. The staff was rude and not knowledgeable about the hotels.com listing. They made me pay twice for the stay at this trashy place.

When I got here the check in was easy and helpful. They went all out for me. I greatly appreciate it. Great job I would always stay here my first choice to stay.

The front desk was very caring and nice and helpful

I didn't like how the manager made me wait until 2:00p before I could check in, knowing I had to sleep in my car after working 12 hours and would have to wash & get dressed before I went back in at 5p. Then she told me to leave because she didn't want my services. She wanted to charge me $75 for incidental fee when I didn't have it after pre-paying for 5 nights to stay there. I've been staying at Days Inn hotels for 25 years and have never been treated this way by management. They lost my business.

The staff was incredibly rude during check in. We were told we could check in at 1pm, but the staff members were yelling at my partner when he tried to check in at 230pm. This place also doesn’t look like it’s been updated in ages - The pictures online definitely do not look like how the property actually is. Super disappointed.

The bathroom smelled like urine. We reported it to the front desk. They apologized but did nothing. Didn't move us to another room or clean the bathroom. We were there Tuesday through Thursday and our room was never cleaned. The front desk was unmanned for most of our stay.

Uneventful. Location was close to shopping, food & attractions. Comfortable bed. I would stay here again.

Great location - close to mostly everything we needed. Greeted by friendly staff members. Somewhat clean rooms - looked nice but found a small issue which was fixed right away.

The location is very close to nice restaurants.

We stayed for 3 nights. Everything was clean. The bed mattresses were a little more stiff than we preferred. Overall a convenient location and we would stay here again.

The property was very neat. Easily to find and get to. Close to the other sights to get too also.

It is near Amish country for anyone who wants to explore that. A main road with shopping and restaurants is very close.

Pleasantly surprised, much cleaner than I expected for the price and the age of the facility. Continental breakfast service was caring, showed pride.

Secured (2) rooms. One room the door didn't lock so another room was given.(Good) The rooms themselves were clean, quiet and the air conditioner worked well. They are updating their facility so they didn't have much for breakfast. (At least that was the reason for not having "breakfast" per their ad online). You could get de-caffeinated coffee or juice. :(

Our room was very clean and adequate for our stay. The breakfast did not offer very many options and had very limited seating.

The baseboards in the bathroom were filthy. The toilet rocked back and forth. Obviously meeds a new wax ring at least. The breakfast was disappointing. The only cereals were fruit loops and frosted flakes. Was hoping for a mini yogurt or a piece of fruit.

First time to stay here with my family it was good and clean and good location esp. restaurant. but the only thing the breakfast is only coffee and granula bar. I thougth it was a regular bfast meal but it wasn’t. So we need to go outside to eat bfast esp. i have 2 kids they need to eat in the morning. Front desk staff is nice.

This was an awful stay. The place was not clean. The toilet ran all the time. The room was for 4 and they only gave us 2 towels. When I asked for more, they grudgingly gave me 2 more. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal that who know how old it is.
