Really enjoyed our stay here for a sports tournament. Rooms are clean and in good condition. Pool and fitness center is nice. Staff are great. There’s a lot of restaurants, cafes and other attractions nearby. The only downside is that it was noisy, thin walls I guess? Woke up to someone bouncing a ball upstairs and could hear conversations in other rooms. I’d stay again.

We went for a weekend and I highly recommend the Holiday Inn. The room was clean, the AC was cold, the bed was very comfortable. Two cons: 1: the room was that we got the room behind the elevator. While we did not hear the elevator, the layout wrapped around the shaft and that meant a narrow hallway to the room, which was annoying with bags and a stroller. 2: the bathroom door was a sliding barn style door and it weighed a ton. I struggled with it, so kids or the elderly will simply have to poop with the door open. The neighborhood is very central, so you won't need your car if you want to wander the town (I recommend Beignet Company for breakfast). The restaurant is great, upscale, and open late. Dinner can be ordered at the bar until 945, so if you get in late, you don't have to find a diner or eat gas station hotdogs. The staff was friendly, the parking was cheap at $15/day, the lobby is huge. I did not use the pool, so I cannot speak to that. The rooftop bar is undergoing renovations and was closed as of late July. They DO have cribs if you have a baby/toddler and don't want to lug around a pack and play.

There is no parking that is free with this hotel they make you pay for it. It’s also very confusing and when my mom called to ask about parking as we were driving around the hotel, the person told her that this was reservations and hung up in her ear. When we finally got into the hotel, they were very apologetic, but it was still a pretty crappy experience.

My biggest issue was the parking garage. While it was nice that there was parking included and we were provided with a scan code to get in and out, one of the days we could not get the parking arm to lift so we could exit. We had to call for help and the parking attendant told us our code had been used by someone else leaving and he accused us of sharing the code- which we did not. He kept us there an extra 10 minutes questioning which car used the code and he pulled up the license plate number which was not ours. We didn’t know anyone else in the hotel or area and we were in our room at time. Rather than accept the computer had an error, we needed to argue with him which I felt was unacceptable.

This is a great place to stay. A little above our budget but we are so glad we made this choice. Parking in the lot next door that is run by the city. But it wasn't too expensive. We were able to walk all over the city without much effort. The Central Market is only a couple of blocks way.

There was no information that the parking was not free so we were unaware of the parking was $15 a night. The room was dirty there was what appear to be blood stains on a bench and rug and the bathroom floor and shower was also dirty.

The hotel was nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. The front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. The room was standard, but we found hairs stuck to the bathtub and wall in the bathroom. On the first day, I found a small cockroach behind the door—not sure where it came from. I didn’t report it since I checked the rest of the room and didn’t find more. The pool was clean and nice, just a bit cold. I found the breakfast a bit overpriced for the quality—everything was cold and there wasn’t much variety. I’d give it a 3 out of 5 mainly because of the cleanliness, but the young man at the front desk definitely deserves a 10/10.

Our room was very damp to the point that our carpet felt wet and our clothes felt damp during our stay. The bathroom had no exhaust which made tons of condensation while showering, even with the door open. After a shower we had a puddle across the sink. In addition, the room wasn’t insulated against outside sound. It was hard to sleep because we could hear everything in the halls and outside.

First impressions it seems ok from outside but inside feels dated, dark & dreary. First room seemed ok but the air con was making an awful noise every 60 seconds which shook the wall so we were swiftly moved with the assistance of Jon at reception. Grateful for that after a long day of flights and trains to get there. Next room was directly above in next floor again seemed fine. Didn't sleep well due to the street noise, light shining from 3 sides of the alarm clock and the daylight coming in at the bottom of the window as the blind stopped about an inch short of the sill. Second and third nights sleep interrupted by a party of school teens who ran around shouting and slamming doors like a herd of elephants ! Roomed seemed clean until I knocked a few of my things over and discovered used tissues under the bedside table. On one occasion housekeeping didn't leave any clean towels so had to call to reception for some which were delivered promptly. Didn't mind that the bed sheets were not changed for the 6 nights we were there but they could have at least straightened the pillows and made it look like they had done something. No bags left inside the trash cans. Pool area looked nice although we didn't get a chance to use it. Shame no sauna as that would have been good. Mohamed comped us breakfast near the end of our stay which was appreciated by us. Breakfast room felt bland and uninviting. Selection was basic. Expensive for what we expected & experienced

I was very very unhappy with the lack of adequate accessories in the room. When I booked, I was not understanding that this room, explained to me by the hotel, as a ‘handicap’ room had no closet, to hang clothes, just two hooks on a wall. No iron/ironing board. So even if I was handicapped, I wouldn’t need to iron and hang my clothes? Discrimination! Shame! HOTEL.COM did not tell me that accessible means a room with no standard amenities! We were 3 ladies, there for the weekend to attend formal functions in the community. We had a lot of clothes to iron out, to hang!

The room and the door to the hallway was not soundproofed at all. The noise and talk in the hallway was so that it literally sounded like it was coming from within the room. The floor I was on had a lot of kids running around and there were several times late in the evening that I had to get up and check because when they were knocking on other doors, it sounded like they were knocking on my door. And even though my room was about 10 yards or so away from the elevators, I could hear every time the elevator dinged and everything people were talking about while waiting for it. Loudest room I’ve ever had. Also, I had reserved a room that was supposed to have a handicapped shower with a seat (as it is better for my husband who is an amputee) but it wasn’t. When I asked at the desk, I was told that they actually don’t have showers like that, there’s just bars on the wall of the tub/shower combo. However, the photos on the handicapped room choices show a seated shower.

Our suite was huge, perfect for a trip with 2 teens and the dog. Staff was helpful with suggestions for where to walk the dog. Very convenient for all the Lancaster shops & restaurants. We'll be back.

A nice, central located hotel. Room was on the small size, but comfortable and clean. The only problem was noise. We were on the 9th floor and could hear outside noise like there were no glass in the windows. The rooms were very close where we were at the end of a hallway and you could hear talking, laughing, yelling, etc like the door was made of paper. The hotel did have signs posted saying quiet hours were 10pm-7am, but apparently people don’t read or care. Otherwise, the 2 night stay was fine.

We picked the hotel because it was downtown and walkable, convenient for all the sites. It was expensive for that reason, but the quality didn't match the price. The shower made a choking noise, the air conditioner kept turning off and on as it searched the right temperature and made it hard to sleep (and turning it down so it would be consistent didn't help), and we ended up on a floor of rambunctious middle school kids who were incredibly loud and annoying. We could hear everything through the door. The price didn't match the experience. It was like paying a luxury price for a low rate experience. Oh, and they charged for parking and didn't give free breakfast. Talk about low of low.

It was a nice hotel. The male at the counter was very nice. My only complaint was when we got to the hotel to check in on Saturday at 2:45 there was only one person working and the line was huge. We had to wait forever to get checked in.

Didn't like having to pay $14.99 for the same breakfast you get for free at any other hotel. Hotel restaurant didn't serve a breakfast and closed at 10 pm but the bar stayed open till 11 pm with no snack options.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and made check in easy. We paid extra to have breakfast was a waste of money. The eggs and potatoes were cold, the sausages were dry and hard like they were over cooked or been reheated to many times . The bacon was edible still a bit hard but had some taste. Was very disappointed in the food

Nice place. Clean. Convenient to the convention center at the Marriott two blocks away. Lots of commerce and dining options around. In hotel breakfast buffet for under $15 per person was quite decent with hot (scrambled eggs, sausages, country fried potatoes) and cold (package, cereal, fruit, and yogurt parfaits) options for everyone.

We received very poor service at the Imperial Restaurant, specifically from the bar tender. He was polite, however, the drinks were made poorly, incorrectly, and one (a simple vodva martini) tasted like something other than vodka was in it. He also made a couple of drinks at a time for my party of eight, and then woul make drinks for other people, and then came back to finishing our order - this happened a few times so it took 15-20 minutes before we all had a drink.
