We we super excited to come here. The photos we excellent and the perks were just as exciting. However, upon arriving we discovered that many of these perks were not available. We were told by the bartender that there is no longer a night cap (even though it was advertised on the website), there was water leaking out of our ceiling vents and mold was growing along the ceiling because of it, the pool was closed (not mentioned in the booking or on the website and it was obvious that it hadn't been opened in a very long time), the breakfast was dry and mediocre. It was a major let down. For the price we paid for the room we could have visited the Biltmore and had more fun.

Staff was great and helpful. Check-in didn't know what restaurants were nearby but was very professional and nice. The room was clean and super cute! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved how peaceful and beautiful the grounds were.

The staff was very friendly. I would say that for the price, I expected more. We wanted to have a relaxing staycation and sit by the pool. Pool was not very well maintained so we decided against that. The restaurant was definitely not what I would have hoped for the price of the meal. My husband’s prime rib was completely charred but not really cooked at all (he ordered medium rare and it was more than rare). The filet was good. Our server, Ryan, was fantastic. Also the sweet tea is amazing. The buildings are dated and while it is a quiet stay and very peaceful, I wouldn’t recommend for the price point. It just doesn’t match the amenities.

Stayed 2 nights

Stayed 3 days/2 nights at The Inn. Enjoyed the scenic view of the lake, the quiet atmosphere and nature views. Hospitality was top-tier which extended from communication at the time of the reservation, check-in, breakfast and dinner waitstaff, to taking a delightful tour with Butch (by far the highlight of the trip)! Room made me feel like I was in the cabins in Tennessee and the food and drinks were amazing. Only downside I experienced was the lack of an offer of an upgrade or bottle of wine due to VIP status. Overall, I had a grand time which was relaxing.
