The only challenge I experienced was parking. Everything else was exceptional.

Easy place to stay. Good parking. Great breakfast.

Margaret who cooked up some spaghetti Thursday evening with wine beer dessert etc. I hope I have her name correct she talked with us a hot minute Quiet area. Older but had all we needed.

Place was very nice Beds were very comfortable. Having the kitchens were great the complementary breakfast was very good and even had complementary beer in the lobby one night. Would stay here again

We enjoyed our accommodations, people were very friendly. Pool and hot tub area were clean and always had towels.

Disappointed to not have luggage racks for our stay. Inadequate number of parking spaces

I love the free parking and how large the room is. It’s bigger than your average NYC apartment.

The hotel was very clean, they do need to empty the garbage outside a bit more, there was a family reunion and they did fill up the cans quickly. Should have had the pool open as the tropical depression wasn't any where near us. There is not a hot tube on the property. The breakfast was good wish they would have had grits instead of oatmeal.

So 6/17 Monday night … I checked in to completely booked hotel at 10:30 pm parking lot spilling full … prepared myself for an understandably overwhelmed grumpy exhausted person at reception desk … Forgot her name unfortunately plz check and who was on duty and thank her …how wonderful she was ! Funny patient engaging and professional with attention to the particular guest needs created by an over full parking lot .. honestly I travel internationally for work stay at upscale properties mainly and haven’t had such a gracious reception this year ! That young lady should be tracked for your companies future .. you can’t teach that …

Liked that it was near Marina and we could walk to California dreaming. Liked the treats and complementary beer though I wish it were wine. Lovely pool and patio area. Loved the 2 bdrm suites.

Checked in really late and the room smells bad. Specially the bathroom, the housekeeper left the dirty towels from the guest before us and her cleaning stuff is still in the bathroom. Toilet is dirty and smells like someone throw up in the toilet. my family was tired and didn’t want to change rooms anymore so I ended up cleaning the toilet making sure that the smell was gone. Disappointing stay as a Marriot bonvoy member.

Room was not clean, staff at front desk were very nice. However, they didn't warn us about construction down the hall from us. We had to wait to read the notice in the room, which was nice, but would have been better if we had been told when we checked in.

The rooms could certainly be cleaner, shower was gross especially around the handles, need to pay attention and do a thorough cleaning. Dusting also isn’t done regularly.

I got in at 12:30 at night with my family, the comforter on the already made bed has make up and hair on the inside. There’s mold all in the room. It smells like smoke. I went and asked the manager for a new comforter they did not have one he gave me sheet. I also asked for an extra pillow. They did not have that either. also, my suite was 123 placing my headboard against the back door which malfunction and was slamming my entire visit. I did tell the manager to try to get somebody to fix it, but was not successful. I did not sleep. They could not move my room because they were booked up.

I booked this hotel because it had the option of a room with a kitchen. It was a great hotel for a fair price. The staff was friendly, room comfortable and hotel clean. Would stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and smelled fabulous when you walk in the door! Our room is very quiet and comfortable.

This got to be the WORST Residence Inn we've ever stayed in. We travel to Canada and US every few months and we usually stay at Residence Inn 4-5 times every year and we have NEVER been at a place this bad. To summary how bad this was - - no door tags - some magnets on the fridge not sure where we are supposed to put them on the door. - the room smelled musty and the bathroom was even worse! - floors (non-carpeted area) all sticky - when we first got into the room, there was a dead cockroach on the kitchen floor with some shells and the last night when we picked up a cleaned mug, there was a cockroach in it - carpet was not cleaned or vacuumed as our dog picked up a paper clip and some staples from it - carpet has seen better days - baseboard half falling off the dresser and drawers were sticky so I kept all my clothing in my luggage - bedding smelled not the cleanest and the extra beddings in the closet were not bagged, just piled up on top so not sure if they were clean or not - one of the electrical plug was loose on the wall, and almost fell off the wall when I tried to plug my laptop in - bathroom had ripped wallpaper - kitchen appliances all bang up For paying $200/night for a room this is more like a motel room. Management needs to read this review and do some serious work and bring this up to the Marriott standards. Whoever is thinking of booking here, please read this review and also previous reviews.

Room could have been cleaner.

Our room had an odor musky. The hot water took 30 minutes to get hot. Carpet was dirty. Need to do some hard cleaning. It was ok but could have been better.

This is my go-to hotel in Charleston. I enjoy the queen suite as it is nicely appointed and offers a small apartment feel. Parking and accessibility is easy.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was soacipus and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and they have free parking. Hotel is centrally located to area attractions if you have a vehicle.

The suite was amazing

A little outdated...our view was horrible, but we had the dog so that I think makes a difference as we had to be on the ground floor. It was kind of an awkward set up to be honest. The breakfast was absolutely horrible with powdered eggs...expected more from a Marriott. Staff was SUPER nice, so at least the property has that going for them! Location is GREAT, as long as there is no flooding! We missed that by a DAY! Overall, it was 3 stars!

Noisy room don’t stay in room 126. It either the aircon or the jacuzzi pump but either way it kept me awake for hours. I did think of moving but at 5am in the morning u don’t think straight,

Property is in need of an update. Need a ramp on back where most everyone parks and loads/unloads. Sink faucet was loose and hard to turn off, bathroom door hard to shut, TV in room wouldn't work, had to change rooms. Staff was friendly and breakfast was pretty good. The room we were in was quiet. Location is great.

The staff was amazing. Very pleasant and overall nice. Was offered complimentary beer and snacks as well as plenty of help overall. I have no issues with the staffing or place in general my only real quarrel was with the room and specifically the AC in the room being loud since the air handler(?) was in the room.

Make sure you have a debt card with your name on itand not your spouses name. Or else they will turn you away.

Great check in experience from Melanie, who he front desk manager, awesome clean and very accommodating suite.

We got to the hotel to find they gave our room away. We paid for a one BR suite and they offered us a one studio instead which wasn’t acceptable. I ask if they could accommodate us with a 2 BR sine it was their error only to tell us we would have to pay more. They finally agreed to give us a room which the 3rd shift manager was staying in only to find dirty towels, etc. we were very disappointed in their lack of trying to accommodate us since the error was on their part. The room was paid for in advance so they should’ve had a room available or provided us with an upgrade. Very disappointed.

The staff and service were outstanding. They could not have been more helpful. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Staying at this hotel was a great experience! The property was beautiful and clean. The staff went above and beyond. They were so friendly and accommodating. Ramona and the other young man working the front desk, we’re always quick to greet us each time they saw us. Kimberly, the hotel manager, was outstanding. She is full of energy and has a beautiful smile. She was constantly working to make sure that everyone had what they needed, each morning during breakfast. We also had several requests and each time, she would arrive at our room in minutes. The level of service at this hotel was amazing. We are looking forward to returning soon.

It was great. Staff super friendly, clean and comfortable rooms and everything was smooth. They even made sure my bonvoy points were updated before I left! Fantastic job everyone!!!

The first room we were booked in was not cleaned properly, so I requested a different room, and they were very nice about it and switched us immediately. The new room we got was the exact same room but clean, and we loved it. The balcony offered plenty of privacy and protection from the wind. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the full kitchen was a big plus. All of the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. I will highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed 4 days. I received a text informing us that our room was ready ( this was about 2 hours early) so that was very good news,as we were traveling. The 2 bedroom suite was GREAT!! very roomy, clean and it had most everything that you might need in the kitchen area. We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was also good, very good selection of hot / cold foods, coffee was very good. I would highly recommend this site. Very convenient to most places, close to downtown, Patriots Point.

Great location and customer service

Very nice and easy check in. Good area and not to much traffic. Close to the city, just avoid rush hour times as it is hard to get out on to the major roads

We have stayed here before. Since then the breakfast has become terrible. Scrambled eggs have been replaced by prepackaged what they call quiche in plastic wrap inside the warmer. Same thing with self serve waffles – prepackaged in plastic wrap.

I loved our stay. Our 1 bedroom suite was nice and spacious! The staff was very kind. The free breakfast was tasty and well stocked.

Very nice property and would had given 5 stars had the breakfast been better. Lacking in options for hotel breakfast. Otherwise 5 Stars all day long.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The staff, from check-in to the breakfast attendees was fantastic! The negatives are the bathrooms need to be updated. The tubs are terrible, the water was not very hot, and water leaked on the floor no matter what we did to prevent it. Though we were grateful for the free breakfast, it was the same each day. There was no real variety. No creamer for the coffee.
