The cons: It appeared the building's maintenance had been deferred for a very long time. Upon arrival, you'll notice the paint is missing from the walkway, the weeds are growing up and leaves from the winter were still building up in all corners. Once inside, there's just not enough staff to keep things flowing - the restaurant was continuously full of tables with crumbs, the carpet needed vacuuming and the cigarette butts in the parking garage and around the elevators was just gross. The pool was not working and was cordoned off with yellow tape making it look like a crime scene. The pool furniture looked like it had withstood a long winter and was not in a condition for seating. While allowed to enter the hot tub, the bubbles didn't work. The two chairs on our hotel balcony were covered with green mildew from the winter. The walkway featured in the photo out into the bay was closed. The pros: The shuttle was the best part of the hotel. The drivers were excellent and kept things moving. The actual hotel room was pretty clean, except for the balcony coverd with winter debris. All in all, not a place I'd stay again. Instead, I'd go across the street to the Hilton.

For the price of this hotel, I was expecting it to be top-notch. From our “water front view” we got mostly a view of construction trash. In the parking garage, there was a whole section cordoned off that just held hotel extras (chairs, etc) but it was completely unorganized and looked like a dump site for hotel staff. Cement was chipped and dirty…all in all a disappointing stay for the price I paid.
