Nice hotel. Clean, updated overall. Great breakfast options each day. Pool is small, but private (enclosed by a fence from the parking lot). Exercise room was nice, big and clean. We are repeat visitors over 2 years.

My experience was extremely disappointing. The room was never cleaned despite my raising the issue twice; each time, I was told it would be addressed, but nothing changed. On our final night, we were given washcloths and towels along with a plastic bag to collect our own garbage, which was unacceptable. The reason provided for this poor service was that they were short-staffed. Additionally, only one elevator was operational, forcing us to walk up to the fourth floor several times. I have submitted a formal complaint to their headquarters and am currently awaiting a response. I also attempted to upload photos of the room but was unable to do so.

The staff was wonderful from check in to check out, staff was always ready and the rooms were very clean and well maintained, even the fitness room was very well organized as well. Not over crowed, because of there size.

We were in town for a high school softball playoff game and college tour. Everyone was super nice as soon as we walked in the door and for the entire stay. The room was very clean and had plenty of towels, wash cloths and toiletries. The air worked great. The breakfast was really good especially the citrus peach punch, waffles and sausage links. The only downside was the pool was still closed for the season. We will definitely be back if we come back to Spartanburg.

Placed in an unclean room. And by unclean I mean covers just pulled up. Bed disheveled. Upon further exploration, to be sure it was not cleaned, discovered giant hairball in drain of bathroom and empty shampoo containers on ground of shower. Yep. True. And yep. GROSS!! NEVER EVER AGAIN FOR THIS CHAIN!! Asked for refund which I got and we left immediately.

When we arrived and opened the door to the room a bug ran across the floor. I had to kill it. the next morning when we went to take a shower the stall had hair in it on the walls and the floor. Not a very good cleaning job if you ask me.

Surprised at this BW. Bed and shower were unclean. Very late arrival and was placed in a room directly beside the ice maker. Customers started to use it on a regular basis around 6 am. No black out curtains. We could see the trees outside the room. Was too tired to request another room. We couldn't wait to check out. When i explained to the person at the desk during check out, she said i apologize. I said WOW..

The bed linens were not clean. I had to change the linens on the bed. The hall had a wet paint smell. Very noisy both inside and outside the building. There were teenagers cruising the parking lot as we were checking in. I told the desk clerk, but I do not think she did anything about it. We had to wait at check-in while the desk clerk finished a task she was working on and while she took 4 phone calls. She made it very clear through her actions that we were not important to her or the hotel.

Lovely front foyer. Good breakfast. Floors on upper floors haven’t been vacuumed in quite a while. Shower floor in our room was dirty. Shower also full of mildew. Guest bathrooms definitely to be refurbished.

Check in 1st room went to room HAIR all both beds and pee around the toilet! 2nd room BUGS in beds and more HAIR! Also Hair in shower and a hole in one of the sheet! So we left and they would not give money back! WOULD NOT STAY HERE!!!

Staff was horrible. No one at the check-in desk. Waited for an extended period of time before anyone showed up and she didn’t even apologize for keeping me waiting. The first room they gave me did not have a working TV or telephone. Shower head was spraying everywhere. Finally got moved to another room which was not very clean. The fridge had a bad odor. Overall terrible. Will never stay at another one of these.

My assigned room faced the Interstate. It was extremely noisy. Asked to be reassigned a south facing room over the parking lot but hotel was sold out. Hotel offered to refund my rate, but I could not find another hotel with decent rooms at last minute other than 1 or 2 star motel or with poor reviews. Expedia was useless too. Online with chat and they couldn't help either. Ear plugs and a noise maker but could still hear traffic all night.

First of all, I would state that we would undoubtedly stay there again. Only complaint would be the electrical plugs on the nightstand between the two beds were wore out and needed to be replaced.

Room was clean and adequate. Breakfast was good. However, the window shade would not roll down but halfway. After several attempts to roll it down, the whole shade fell down, like it had just been set in place instead of screwed on. Of course there was no maintenance available to fix it and no available room to move to. So I got a 3 foot ladder from the front desk and set the shade back in place fully extended to block the light coming in from the parking lot. The door wouldn’t lock when it closed half the time. After several days we noticed the door was not hung level and pulling up on the door knob was required to get the door to close properly at times. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed when using the shower. It would roll open about 2 inches.

The hotel was conveniently located for me, with easy access and parking. The breakfast was good, but they really won me over with the espresso machine. I would mention that it is very close to the highway. I'm not bothered by the hum of traffic. If it bothers you, i suggest asking for a room which faces away from the highway.

We were quoted 324 for 3 night stay on hotels.com we paid in advance and knew there was probably a deposit/incidentals fee. The front desk clerk quoted 50 dollars. I gave him my card and he charged me 350 dollars. If I had known ahead of time i would not have approved such a charge on my accouny that was my eating out money and gas to get home money. The hotel refused to give me an early refund and would not speak to my wife while i was at work. It soured our entire trip. I believe i should be compensated for the misinformation and down and dirty way they handled their business.they couldnt and still have not refunded me the 360 dollars. Super upset!

Nice, safe location with plenty of parking and easy access to hotel, parking lot, and interstate. Hotel was quiet and beds were comfy. Fridge didn’t work when we got there but staff was helpful in quickly resolving the matter. Staff was super friendly. The ladies at the front desk were awesome and helpful, and one of the house keepers stopped to interact with my kids for a minute. I booked my stay for next month as I was checking out. :)

The man at the reception has no customer service training whatsoever, he was rude and indifferent. We were given room 415 which has the window exterior pane broken and it was so noisy all night long.

We’ve stayed here several times and it is very nice. However, this time they charged me a $50 incidentals fee (Never charged to me before) and told me it will take 5-7 business days to take off! There is practically nothing to buy there other than a candy bar and a drink and in have never used this service. 5-7 days reversal is ridiculous.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I never have any problems with the room itself , but if you have problems with sleeping because of noises you need to pick a room with an even # or the Interstate will keep you awake. The staff is vary friendly they help with anything you may need.

I have stayed at this hotel several times its always clean. The only problem i have is if you get an odd rm. # and you need it quiet at night to sleep it the hwy. Side of the hotel. But other than that the hotel is and has always been a clean affordable friendly place. Once in a while its a bit too busy.

The property is older, but in good condition. The beds and bedding is comfortable. The breakfast is good. I loved the coffee machine that could make any kind of coffee you wanted! There is a Denny's next door, as well as a Mexican restaurant. The food at the latter was great! Overall this hotel is great value for money.

The room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast was not so good. The breakfast was from 7:30 until 10 am and I got there at a quarter to nine am. and the hash brown potatoes were cold and I scrapped up the last ones in the pan. All the other dishes were cold as well. Otherwise, the service was pleasant.

The front desk staff is top notch. The breakfast staff is the reason I have "STAFF" 3 stars. We have stayed there twice, and the attention the breakfast staff has given was zero to none. Most of the time, they are on their cell phone and you have to ask for more food to be brought out. Otherwise, great place.

Good experience until breakfast time. Food choices and flavors were average. What really demands improvement is the size of the room. It was woefully too small for the number of guests that were trying to squeeze into the room. There was not enough counter space, room to move about without bumping into the other guests and certainly not enough tables and chairs. The food kept quickly running out and the poor girl who was working there could not keep up with the demand.

I called ahead to let them know it would be a late check in upon arriving everyone was very friendly and accommodating. In the morning breakfast was great they had waffles, fruit, cereal, coffee, all fresh and hot. We would stay there again.
