The pool was out of service…nothing on their website or reservation stating it….if it did I would have gone somewhere else….their breakfast was from 5:30am-10:00am….did not stay on top to keep everything replenished…had to look for the kitchen person to let them know the coffee was out

Work check in ever. Elevator didn’t work and was painting the stair well so has painters plastic covered in paint over the entire flight if stairs. Very unsafe. Horrible experience .

Beds were extremely hard with some kind of stains on the sheets. Floors in the hall ways were full of bleach stains. Bathroom appeared to have mold on the ceiling and the caulking of the shower walls. The A/c worked great tho. Will probably find another hotel to stay at next time. The pool was out of service as well.

Was upset that we had literally just got a room for the purpose of spending some time at the pool just to be told the pool was closed AFTER check in.

Staff was great. Pool was dark green cant see the floor. Place looked clean just like the pics. Plenty of parking saw big vehicles and a bus there. Well lit. However the place had a weird smell to it. Thought it was lobby only but hallway and my room had the same weird smell. Cant describe it other than it was unpleasant.

This properly has been under constant remodeling and construction for the last 3 yrs that I have come for the Big Ride Rodeo in Rosenberg and Needville...there has been no improvement and appears to have become worse than before....furniture was in the hallway, the parking lot still had spaces filled with equipment for construction and the carpet and rooms need replacing/or painted...the only thing that looks decent is the building on the outside and the lobby/breakfast area...

Beautiful upgraded hotel but the pool was closed, and the gym was not usable.

The pool was broken. Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok.

There was hair on the shower walls as if it had never been cleaned. As well as what looked to be blood on the tv stand. There was no remote in the room. Our son had to go get it and it still didnt work.

The property was so nasty. Rooms were dirty, hair in bathroom, mirrors had filth all over them. No remote for TV. Just gross.

Property was a disaster from landscaping to carpet. The facility looks like they can’t afford lawn, pool or carpet services. The front desk is not manned most of the time because they stay in the side office. You ring the bell and you still wait. The vibe is that they don’t care much about guest. First night there was guest and kids running in the halls past midnight and slamming doors over and over. The room was dirty feeling.. the shower walls looked unclean and the AC had mold on the vents. The TV is outdated and the elevator smells dirty. The carpet in the halls are the worst with looks like spill or vomit stains. We did have a sink problem we notified them about and it was taken care of so one positive. Otherwise we checked out early because it was just bad.

This hotel stinks as soon as you get off the elevator. The hallway and rooms smell like a mixture of mold and feet. Rooms are not clean.

Hotel bathroom was very dirty. Hair everywhere towels looked used. Almost no soaps or other amenities available. Hotel looked new but not taken care of. I’m glad it was cheap but it shouldn’t have been that unkept since it was in the upper mid companies. Definitely not staying there again

The property has roaches in the room and the owners don't seems to care about treating them when i show them the pictures of the roaches we saw.

The outside of the property had not maintained their grass or landscaping, and it was apparent that it had been untouched for some time. No care. On the inside of the property, when I went to the third floor, I noticed the hallway was dirty. It didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in a while. I went inside the first hotel room that I was given, and there was debris on the carpet and long hair in the sink. When I approached staff about the lack of cleanliness in the room, they gave me another room. I found out later that the blanket had blood on it. I left the blanket to wear. The blood was very obvious, but despite having the room cleaned, the blood either was not noticed or the staff did not care to change out the blanket. I finally had to go downstairs and get my own blanket after staying there for two nights. I talked to staff about possibly getting a refund or discount on my stay, but it was never offered or extended to me. I ended up paying full price.

Hotel smells as soon as you walk in. In the halls, the floors are stained with bleach and the room smelled about as weird as the lobby. The bed sheets were stained and the remote was filthy is gunk all over it. The restroom looked as if it were just stocked with towels and they went about their day. The mirror was dirty and so was the faucet. The shower was downright gross. The caulking was filthy, strange burn looking stains in the tub and the shower head was also gross and had some weird oily residue in it. I was too grossed out to shower here and instead went to a family members house close by which defeated the purpose of the room. Had we not been pressed for time to get to an event, I would’ve pushed the issue. The pictures online look great, but are VERY deceiving.

Do not stay here! This hotel is full of roaches and staff does not care when they were told

It was nice, quite, AC was cold, rooms very spacious and bed was comfortable. Got a good night sleep

Slightly disappointed with the stay. The hotel can use some good upgrades and seemed pretty dated. The staff was very friendly and checkin was fast. Breakfast wasn’t great unlike the other La Quinta hotels we stayed in other locations. The motion sensor in the bathroom was pretty frustrating.

Older property but if you stay here, get thevl suite. It is enormous.

Was seemingly given a Handicapped room by mistake as I didn’t request one. I thought maybe it was an “only room available” situation at first when I arrived, but that would be odd since I reserved my room a few weeks in advance. Bed was comfortable. Room was extremely echo-heavy however and the AC stopped functioning properly a few days in and wouldn’t stop blasting the coldest air temp. Maintenance was helpful and checked it out, but couldn’t find what caused it or make it stop. I had to cover the AC’s vents with towels just to stop the cold from filling the room. Shower curtain is not a proper material and does not prevent water from getting all over the bathroom. Power went out multiple times throughout my stay as well.

Stayed here for one night. I didn’t use the pool or gym — honestly, they looked a bit run-down. When you enter the hotel, you’re greeted by a couple of cats (apparently pets of someone on staff). They were eating out of a clean bowl — didn’t bother me, but worth noting. Check-in staff were friendly and clear about why they needed my credit card — I appreciated the transparency. The room itself was decent, quite large for the price, and clean overall. I could even see my car parked from the window, which was a plus. The AC and TV worked well, though the phone didn’t connect to the number I dialed. The bathroom was a bit of a concern — low water pressure, and I found a few hair strands on the floor, though it looked like someone had made an attempt to clean it. Breakfast was disappointing — 2/5. Very limited options for vegetarians — not even a basic potato side on a Saturday morning. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very kind and easy to talk to.

The only nice thing was they let us check in 20 min early. Other then that there was crumbs on the bed, the walls are paper thin, heard footsteps from next room, we could hear people outside talking, the elevator ding was so loud heard every person going in and out of elevator. Did not sleep well due to noise.

Don’t stay here if you want to watch tv while in the room. They don’t have any local channels on the tv. And not all cable channels. So much for watching football games while in my room on a Saturday.

The staff was very attentive. The front desk receptionist Kelly was amazing. We arrived in town earlier than expected. She got us checked in right away. The rooms were very clean. The only complaint I have is the walls are very thin. You can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms above you and the rooms next to you. We were not able to get a good nights sleep.

All of the staff was super friendly we will definitely be coming back to this hotel!

Upon arriving , and getting into the rooms king suite , there was no remote for the living room tv and the ac unit wouldn’t get cooler than 80 decrees, it made it very difficult to sleep , the guy at the front desk said we could talk to manager in the morning to request a discount , and then the next morning the girl at the front desk was so rude said the guy at night says anything , and that we probably would get a discount , and that we had the option not to stay, I have done a lot of traveling and this was by far the rudest I have been treated while traveling.

Hotel staff was excellent. Came in from Florida for a wedding and showed up at 11am. The hotel staff allowed us early check in which we were so grateful for since we drove all night with 2 dogs. Dogs stayed for free which was awesome and the room was very spacious and clean. The only down side was the pool was STILL broken. I saw past reviews saying the pool was out of commission but that was mid April, so kinda expected it to be fixed by our trip. It wasn’t! And it’s ain’t gonna be fixed anytime soon. So if you are looking for a pool keep looking. But if you want a fairly priced room, and have animals I would recommend the LaQuinta. Great breakfast too!

This place is terrible. Do not waste your money! First off literally every single person that works there is so rude. Check in lady told me it was My fault i didn’t get the correct room because i booked through a third party site and they “always over book” i had to stay in a 1 bed room with 4 people and was told the next day i would be able to switch to a double. Went to try and switch the next day and they said no can’t be done. There was no record of the employee the night before telling me i would be able to switch. The owner told me if i didn’t like it i could leave and they would not refund me. I asked why i wouldn’t be able to move and they said they had no cleaning staff to clean a room for me. Went to my room and literally all 3 cleaning people were on my floor!! To make matters worse the pull out couch has cigarette burns and 2 cigarettes buds shoved in the side of the cushions. Even worse than that we were searching for our room key we looked behind the nightstand looking for our key and found a USED CONDOM back there! So sick! Told the “owner” and he literally didn’t care.

Meanest staff I’ve ever come across. Here for chemo at MD Anderson and woke with loud construction. Asked for a late checkout was told no (rudely). Went to put my stuff in car and they turned off my key card 15 minutes early. Construction is ongoing and super loud.

The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and refused me service because I questioned her on a policy that I knew didn't exist. I've never been treated so disrespectfully. Upon reading reviews after the situation, I saw several other guests also reviewed how rude she is. Also read the rooms were extremely dirty and have bugs. There are far better hotels within the same Price range that are clean and don't have rude staff.

The night shift attendant was very rude. The room I originally booked was not the room I was giving and I was told to deal with it. Then the room key cards wouldn't work and the night attendant was very rude about it again when trying to get the key cards to work.

As I was on my way to check-in they called me and asked me to please cancel my reservation because they're under bew management and no longer honoring online reservations. They assured me my room upon arrival but failed to mention that it would coat me double of what I paid through hotels.com. For one, WHY WOULD THEY WAIT TO TELL ME THIS WHEN I'M ALREADY ON MY WAY THERE???!!!! Canceling at that point wouldn't allow me to get my refund from hotels.com. I was extremely upset because I really needed to stay there. I ended up having to book somewhere else further from where I needed to be. All they said was "I'm sorry I know I should've called you 2 days ago but I didn't." Like if that was gonna fix the issue.

The service was so good, the room very clean and the men of front of desk very helpful 👌

My daughter and I were in town for the AEW show that night happening right around the corner and we have to say that all of the negative reviews that this place has received prior to now are resolved. The room was very clean, AC was already on so the room was cool, fridge and microwave were in great working order, beds were super comfortable, staff let us check in early and offered recommendations for dinner and getting to our event, and even worked with us when we ended up checking out a few minutes late. The only negative we have is that the elevator broke down just before we got there and they hadn't gotten it fixed by the time we left, but that's not enough for me to say negative things about this trip. Would definitely stay again.

Nice facility, easy on and off from the highway, staff was friendly. The only recommendation may be to turn on the ice makers on 2nd and 3rd floors, but I understand that it may not be high occupancy time.

Comfortable, affordable, friendly, great location

Quiet, good breakfast, clean.

We stayed here due to attending event at the Epicenter. The location is super close, a 3 minute drive. The hotel itself is average. The carpets appeared to have bleach stains throughout the hall and directly in front of our room. The bathroom was dirty. The room had a smell almost like mildew but weird. The staff were polite but not real helpful. Parking is free and the area around felt safe enough. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The perk of the place was location for what we needed. Overall, mediocre.

Close to venue

All in all a good value. Property was in good condition, a few blemishes, lady that checked me in was delightful, friendly and helpful. Great location on the edge of SW Houston Metro.

As soon as you walked in the building it smelled like mold. The building, the rooms and especially the bathrooms were very outdated. Fruit were black and not able to eat. The only “breakfast” there was was old cereal.

Staff was very pleasant. The gym wasn’t open due to renovations, as with other portions of the hotel. This is good since it needed updating. Still a very good breakfast provided to the guests.

The shower selection was stuck on shower. No bath here. The breakfast was a joke and a disgrace to the term. The girl serving the food was rude and apparently lazy because the food was undercooked or empty. The gravy was milk and water. Yummy on a rock hard biscuit.

While the bed was comfortable and the place was quiet, the mildew in the tub/shower area, rust in the sink, and cheap toilet paper left a lot to be desired. And the Free Breakfast was the worst I ever encountered. The place was very minimally staffed. The directions posted on the phone on how to use the phone in the room are incorrect. Whoever owns this franchise is squeezing every penny out of it without investing a penny back in it.
