I showed up 7min before the 3pm checkin and they made me wait until 10 after to check in. Didnt tell me about the 8$ overnight parking fee, and instead of a free continental breakfast they had a 15$ buffet. Holiday inn is my usual go to when traveling, but i won't stay at this one again.

Property is close to the airport. Decent beds rooms. I was very annoyed because I chose this hotel based on the airport shuttle at 4am. It said NOTHING about limited spots or booking ahead. I tried to book day of and they were full. Shuttle only runs 30 min. It’s a small like 6 seater van. They should let you know to book in advance for a spot on the shuttle.

Very difficult time getting airport shuttles to and from airport despite being just ~1mile away. Waited for ~40 mins at the airport and following morning was going to have to wait for 30 mins so I just ubered. Room was borderline gross with how sticky surfaces and floors were. I don’t normally need or use a TV but since restaurant closes early at 10pm I turned it on but it’s tiny. I haven’t see a flatscreen this small since they first started coming out with them in 2000-2002!

Airport shuttle left without us (the whole reason that we were staying there) even though we had spoken to the desk earlier to confirm that we were taking the shuttle. we had to get a $23 uber to take the 6 minute ride to SLC. We come to Utah every year but will never stay here again.

So I did come in a bit early, like 60 minutes from normal check in time but as a silver elite i thought there might be an accommodation made and if not I would gladly wait till normal time. The clerk offered me a room that was not what i reserved and that kind of put me off. Then as I am being checked in after a 30 minute wait because did not answer back on the radio the other clerk is handing out discounts for food and vouchers for breakfast but my clerk offered none of those to me. When I went up to the room housekeeping was still finishing and after they left and i went in i could see the biggest pet peeve i have, which is hair in the shower, sink or floor of the bathroom. I did go to the restaurant and the bartender was very good, food that I ordered also was very good. But the front desk clerk and the room issue really diminished my deserve to stay there again.

Everything was terrific, with one exception. The young man that checked us in seemed very disinterested in us. Not a smile, not a “welcome”, not a single emotion of any kind. First impressions are extremely important and this young man missed the mark. The rest of our stay was very nice.

The bus shuttle driver (on duty around 8:30 or 9pm on July 3rd) was amazing. We asked him whether the shuttle would take us the next day to the private airfield and not the commercial airport. He was extremely helpful in getting us information on the possibilities and showed up at 6:30 the next morning (not his shift but his wife’s shift at the front desk) to make sure we were all set. He was fantastic and went well above and beyond.

We made a reservation months in advance. When we arrived at 1:30 am coming in on a late flight, the computer system was down. We were told we could not be given a room until it was running. The person at the desk barely said anything to us, offered no apology, offered no estimate of problem resolution. Total of about 10 words offered. It appeared he was hiding in a back office. There were two other parties also awaiting a room. After waiting about an hour we found a room 20 minutes away at a Hilton, where we were warmly greeted and offered empathy and free snacks. We contacted Expedia the following day and were told we would not be charged. But, you guessed it... we were charged. We got Expedia to reverse the charges, but so far have called twice to the Holiday Inn to speak with the manager (Melissa) and have not been called back. In short - horrible, horrible experience all the way around.

Industrial area far from shopping. Nearest convenience store is almost a mile away. Breakfast buffet is good. Tap water gets real hot. I like that. Bedding is either sheets or too hot. Nobody uses ordinary blankets anymore.

There were dead bugs in our room lights. They did not offer high chairs in the restaurant and did not offer room service. The restaurant wasn’t really a restaurant as they had 4 column’s of mixed drinks, beers, wine, etc and 2 SMALL columns of food. It was more of a bar and small bites but they labeled it as a restaurant. The breakfast was $15 per person and was pretty good! The servers were friendly but they didn’t have any highchairs and also wouldn’t allow us to take our young children’s food up to our room so they didn’t really eat. Overall our stay was 5/10.

Horel was nice. Comfortable rooms. The restaurant left room for improvement. No room.service but they will do rakeout orders. Dinner idems were okay. Breakfast not impressed at all. It is not included in the room so we paid extra for it. My omelet had no flavor and was really just items mixed jnto scrambled eggs and folles in half w cheese. Husbands skilt was okay, but also lacked seasoning .

Everything was excellent except for the fact that they are included in the list of hotels when I filtered for “breakfast included.” However, they do not include breakfast in the coat of the room - they have it available in their restaurant.
