On site restaurant was very handy, however they were severely understaffed with the amount of customers waiting to be served . The front desk staff was very helpful to this senior that had no idea how to get an Uber along with answering other questions we had.

Good location . Friendly staff . All features in room were in working order . Quiet . Pool is very small . Pictures on site are deceiving . Gym area was nice had free weights ab many machines to choose from . There is a 12.00 parking fee .seems like a safe overall location. Tv lacked some basic channels . Room was clean sufficient anount of toiletries / towels in room . Many outlets to use . Some meal locations within blocks of hotel . Overall it was easy to locate . Close to convention center . Would recommend for a decent place to stay .

Checkin went smoothly w Victoria. I’ve been having upper respiratory issues and asked about using a vaporizer. She was very helpful telling me that that would set off the smoke alarms. I asked about using Vicks Vapo Shower bomb and she said that would work. Well once I stepped into the shower thankfully I looked up and saw mold was over 1/2 the head. By this time all I wanted was a shower and my bed. Luckily I could change the shower head pattern to avoid the areas of mold. I know not a good idea but I did and went immediately to sleep. I did take a photo and showed the front desk staff in the morning so they could have the issues fixed. Otherwise the room was quiet. Bed soft w plenty of soft pillows. The a/c did make “weird” noises during the night and it didn’t seem to get really cold but then all I wanted to do was crash.

Air conditioner was set to heat and on.... it averaged 66 degrees. I was afraid to adjust it. The unit made all kinds of noises. Coffee machine didn't work. Was replaced within minutes. Refrigerator was broken. Didn't report. Hair found between the sheets.

This hotel has a really good rating, but in my experience it was very very very dirty, the floor had millions of hairs, the bathtub was unclean and also had hairs. The people and staff were very nice, they helped us get an early check in and check out without any inconvenience! The bedroom very comfy!

I had a nice stay. It was in a good location, as I was looking for something close to the German Village but also great for walking into the downtown area. I had a good view as well. It was quiet. The only issue was that the waste basket had not been cleaned out. I recycle everything. When I realized that I had put just one piece of trash in the basket, I thought, I will just take it with me and put it in another bin...not reason to waste a bag. When I reached for it, I had a trash can filled with hair. The bag had not been changed. It would have been nice to have a recycling bin as well.

Overall a clean and affordable option for staying in downtown Columbus. The staff was efficient and courteous. The beds were more firm than we like, but plenty of pillows and bath linens. There was a rather stale smell to the room but after a while it either disappeared or we became nose-blind. All in all it was a decent room for a reasonable cost.

King bed was extremely comfortable, room was great EXCEPT the heating unit did work properly. The thermostat didn't work, so the two choices were to bake with the unit turned on or to freeze with the unit turned off. Being Michigan natives with tolerance for cold, we chose the "freeze" option. Also, the refrigerator did not work--fortunately, we didn't have any leftovers or food to keep.

Staff at desk very pleasant. The hotel was in a nice area that was close to everything downtown. The room was nice but the bathroom was very small. The sink and faucet were poorly designed because when you turned the faucet on the water would shoot out onto the top of the sink. I’m not sure why hotels have started removing fans from the bathroom, but they need to reinstall them. The bathroom turned into a rainforest sauna after the first shower, with damp floors, sink, walls. Pillows and bed were comfortable and the room was clean. Aside from the bathroom the only suggestion I would make would be to add lamps with USB ports.

The staff was excellent. The room had no usb plugs and the extension cord could not handle the Keurig and TV at same time. Room was clean. Property was quiet. Property needs updated as it is in same condition as it was when I first stayed 20 tears ago.

Room reeked of bleach. I appreciate knowing it was wiped down but no one wants to be hit in the face with that smell. My wife couldn’t stay in the room because of it. The bathroom was very small and the toilet had plastic levelers because it was not secured to the floor and it still moved back and forth. For the price, all around, the room should have been better. Thankfully we just stayed for the night.

It started off good but some of the staff including the day time front desk manager are rude. My room had water pouring from the ceiling in the bathroom from the room above. Literally a waterfall and when I called the front desk the response seemed like this wasn’t the first time it happened in that from their tone of voice. The maintenance guy was nice and got us moved to a different room. We were checking out that day but this was early in the morning and we weren’t even up but heard the downpour. While checking out I asked about what can be done because we had things in the bathroom that got wet. Most hotels would have an incident report filled out so guests can file a claim either through them or a third party. Most insurance claims need documentation but Alex the manager was not understanding that’s what I was asking for. Me and another person was having a conversation about the incident and him and another worker chimed in on the conversation that wasn’t with them. We were sitting down with our luggage talking and they inserted themselves into the conversation. I am a travel agent and I would never recommend this property to clients.

The property was clean. The general staff especially the front desk were polite. We were there for the Columbus marathon. The morning of the marathon we asked for coffee. The manager said coffee isn’t served until 6:30. Usually hotels have coffee at reception around the clock. The toilet in the room was loose and not attached at the floor. The toilet seat was also loose and sliding side to side. At 6:30 when breakfast was served it was said we had to sit down to order a bagel. We offered to pay the $15 for a bagel to carry to the starting line. We were told no. The dinner the night before was short staffed. We waited 2 hours for our food to arrive. The hotel was in no form a dump. It was actually nice. The service and the toilets in both rooms were the only building downfalls. The policies enforced by the manager didn’t seem to add up to a hotel close to the starting line of the marathon. The front desk people on three interactions were very friendly and accommodating.

Refrigerator and Coffee machine in the room did not work. Went to get breakfast and learned that I couldn’t bring it to the room….. and that’s ok … I understand. What I cannot understand is the nasty attitude from the lady in the breakfast area. Killed the entire experience.

We stayed 2 nights for a concert and to explore Columbus. Easy walking distance to downtown stores and restaurants. Our room was clean and in working order. AC worked well and shower had hot water and amazing water pressure. The toilet began to run constantly and handle very loose. I informed the front desk and it was fixed while we were out to lunch - prompt and worked well after. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and staff very pleasant who took care of us each morning. The bacon was on point. I highly recommend adding breakfast on to your stay! We did not utilize the pool but saw it was the usual indoor pool and we did see other families enjoying it. The elevator wait time was never very long. Parking was easy and accessible on premise with many spots located near the back entrance. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

I wanted to pay cash for my stay, and they said card only.. then proceeded to tell me Expedia wants $75 for a deposit to be returned in 3 to 5 business days,Because they are a 3rd party!! An wouldn't even give me a receipt for my stay!! Expedia will send that they said! They said there was breakfast in the morning only to find out... I had to pay for it, cause I didn't see that in the Expedia site when I booked it!! The food was TERRIBLE!! My room definitely wasn't worth the price I paid!! Between The Hotel, and Expedia.. I am highly disappointed!! I .wouldn't even give any stars, but I had to!! Never goin back there again, an will never use Expedia again either!! Ya both were bad!
