This has unfortunately been the worst stay at a hotel in Columbus from hotels.com. From the complications of checking in, room smelled like smoke, none of the amenities were operating or open, none of the ice machines worked and front deck would not get any from kitchen, there were drifters hanging out on property, the bath tub was clogged and filled with water as i was showering, rooms are outdated and falling apart. Not to mention I was awaken by the smell of curry being made by a family inside the room next to us at 7am. I tried to get a refund and neither hotels.com or the hotel itself ever got back to me after they told me they would. I wish i could give this place negative stars. I stayed here once before and it was a bad experience too but I figured I'd give it the benefits of the doubt since it was a last minute trip and this was one of the few places that had a room left close to our event. BEWARE AND STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AS POSSIBLE!!!

I enjoyed the stay. The hotel does need updating but it was clean. The pool is exceptional and the staff were friendly. I didn’t like the fact that the coffee station was all the way in the restaurant. Hard to find.

If you're looking for an okay property, this is the place. Upon arriving, we were told the pool would be out of service for the duration of our stay due to needing chemicals, which was a disappointment for our crew because the pool is the one great feature of this hotel. It was open the next day but didn't work with our schedule at that point. Charged a $60 returnable fee upfront (not a fan of this approach). Mold on ceiling in bathroom. Remote didn't work unless you were within 5" of the tv. No hair dryer. Most ice machines broken yet able to make a really loud noise. Lack of amenities other hotels offer, but it is typically cheaper. Overall, fairly rundown.

The hotel advertised that there was a heated poll. this was a major factor in our choosing this facility. However, when we arrived, we discovered that the pool heater was broken. We were greatly disappointed.

Jerrod at check-in was very nice and accommodating, we really appreciated him. Check-in and check-out, however, was the best part of the stay. The indoor pool was extremely cold and not conducive to swimming, felt more like ice-water than a heated pool. The toilet would barely flush and the tub would not drain. The water pressure however was fantastic and they did offer us free breakfast for our tub trouble. The “breakfast buffet” as advertised on their website was non-existent, but they did offer a limited menu and the food was “ok” but could have been much better. The mattress was not terrible to lay on, but the beds seemed smaller than a typical full-size which was unfortunate. Overall, it could have been worse, but wasn’t the great stay we expected. I would rate customer service a 10 though despite the unfortunate circumstances.

staff was super friendly and helpful. facilities were pretty bad active leaks in the ceiling. shower didn't work right. faucet didn't work right. Internet didn't work right. TV was loose on the stand. the building was in terrible condition. the front line staff are the only thing holding this place together. specific shout out to kitara at the front desk who was just delightful. the cleaning staff were also super nice and very on top of it. they kept everything they could clean. the stuff that was not functioning or looked bad was all things that were out of scope of the cleaning staff.

This is a "good news/bad news/good news" kind of review. The hotel is perfectly fine for its price class. I had been looking forward to the swimming pool and hot tub, but the hot tub was out of order and clearly had been for some time. (Swimming area also not especially attractive.) This is a pet peeve of mine here on Expedia: properties listing their amenities, but not updating what might be out of order. Understandable if it's just a quick fix; not so much if a hot tub is out of commission permanently or for weeks on end. So I mentioned this at check-out: the hot tub had influenced my decision to book there, and I didn't feel I had gotten full value. I got the usual "nothing we can do when you book through Expedia" run-around; everybody was courteous, and I left. So what a nice surprise it was when I saw that the hotel had given me a significant discount (based on what was charged to my card). Props for having decent human beings at the front desk, even if nobody is updating the online descriptions!

The staff was very nice. But the property was disgustingly filthy. They have a conference the night I was there and that's understandable but waking up the next morning. Trash everywhere. Food on the ground not acceptable. My room was decent enough but the bathroom needs some work. The door was shedding. It's a veneer. On my way out I saw an electrical socket broken and open to the environment, very unsafe. I believe that the property management does not care about the way it looks. And one more thing, this hotel is contracted for new service members going into the military. They deserve better. I probably will not recommend this place in the future to any of my friends and family. It's a shame that military has to stay there.

The bad... The roof leaked and I had to move rooms. The roof didn't leak in the room I moved to but the floor was damp right under where the ceiling looks to have just been repaired and painted. The tub always filled up with water past ankles when taking a shower. Kinda gross. Mattress sagged enough to be uncomfortable. My socks or feet for very dirty from the carpet. I don't think the carpet had been cleaned in a while The good... I like the layout and room location. The room was tidy and clean and I felt very safe. Very nice location but definitely dates. I enjoyed the decore in the room and over all it was ok.

We were there for a soccer Tournament and this hotel was booked by our Soccer Club…. Not Us!!! The property looks OK upon first glance…. Just don’t look too close. The outside water feature has garbage in it and around it. The inside is dirty( cracks in walls, dirt built up in corners and in door ways) and the entire facility smells like weed. The hallway our room was in was hazy from the amount of weed smoke. Ridiculous. Loud rap music and yelling from a room near us all night. Broken light fixtures in hallway by elevator. The room was ok. Worn and stained carpeting. Bedding had stains on it. Mattress needs replaced badly. Breakfast buffet was not good at all. I’ve had my share of buffets at hotels and they are normally pretty ok. Not This One. Besides the very nice gentleman seating people it was terrible. I would NEVER stay here again.

The staff was friendly, but the hotel was horrible. The floor we stayed in smelled like a smoking lounge during the day. When we got up to leave early, it smelled worse. The room was ok but definitely not in the best shaped. The back of the toilet had dust. It was nasty!

Room and hotel were clean. Checked in late after 12am still took them 20mins to get a room key and check me in. Room was nice and clean. Nonwash clothes in the bathroom. Downside to this hotel was rooms facing the highway you will the csrs all night long. That and pot smoking guests tha tmade the hallway stink.

The room was immaculate and apparently tr sentry updated. Lobby was well appointed and clean. Comfy bed hot shower. The only thing was the free breakfast was a bit picked over but I went at the very end of the serving time so partially my fault.

Property was great, clean room, clean bathroom, etc. The sliding doors that face the interstate make those rooms much noiser as you can hear loud trucks and vehicles in the room. Other than that, great place. That is something that they cannot help, so don't let that stop you from staying there.

Busy check-in line, which is understandable, however, the process of only 1 computer being able to re-code the hotel keycards bottle-necked the check-in process. Two employees and two computers aren't as efficient if one comouter has to stop its steps in order to help the other computer finish its.

The key card system was down for most of our stay so every time we left the hotel and came back someone had to let us into our rooms. The first night it took an hour and a half because the master key card stoped working and they had to use a special tool. The buffet was good. Had enough eggs, bacon, and sausage for my low carb eating habits, and the fruit (melons and pineapple) were amazing-PERFECTLY ripe. The bed is the reason we stayed here (taken a lot of trial and error to figure out that Crowne Plaza is the only hotel that I sleep comfortably at), and it was very good. I didn’t sleep for 8 hours, but I did sleep solidly. The staff was excellent throughout our stay. They had wonderful attitudes, all very sweet, and accommodating to all our requests. I want to mention Chris specifically the manager, who was extremely nice to us and did everything he could to alleviate the stress of not being able to use our key cards for most of our stay. I appreciate him.

VERY poor customer service. Forgot 2 of our blankets in the room. Called front desk that afternoon & the next day to follow up. Got rude employees & the run around. Hung up on me a couple of times. Filed complaint w/HQ a week ago, no response. Tried to contact today, on hold for over 20 minutes then they disconnected the call. TERRIBLE customer service. Will not stay there again.

I arrived at the hotel at approximately 8:10 p.m. and while there were two customers in front of me waiting to be checked in, the first was there for at least 25 minutes and the second was there for another 25 minutes while the manager seemed oblivious to the line getting longer and longer and offered not one apology or reason for the delay. I left at 9 pm. and never even checked in frustrated with the lack of communication from the manager

This location could be a great spot if the lady working the front desk wasn’t so rude, inconsiderate, and knew how to talk to or treat her customers with respect and kindness. I always check the hotel door key before leaving out. Well this past weekend the system went down ( like I’m supposed to know) the front desk lady snapped at me told me to just go! Like I’m suppose to be a mind reader, that the systems is down. Never have i ever been talked to so crazy by someone. And if she was having a bad day you don’t take out on someone here staying for the weekend. And i also feel that if your going to serve breakfast with meat, that you should have no pork food as well. And if you know that it’s a lot of guest staying at this location that you should not be running out of food at 8am when you still have plenty of time before breakfast is over. The rooms are a lot bigger than most places but the toilet was leaking water, sink was clogged.

We arrived on Friday and I advised the manager that the phone in our room did not work. He never took measures to have it repaired. Every time I needed the front desk I had to walk there to it. I asked that the room be serviced each day and it was not. Further, there was an issue about breakfast. I am very disappointed that this hotel used a surreptitious move to avoid servicing rooms and providing breakfast by putting it on the clients. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will not stay at it, again.

Nice hotel, in the middle of an "industial area" ?? Nothing close by for dinning our stores or night life. We enjoy Coffee day and night, there was no where in the lobby to get coffee. By asking at checkin, they gave us each A cup of coffee. The next morning and at noon, I kept trying to get coffee from a restaurant in the lobby, no hours posted and no one there. Very disapointing, and no where near by to buy it. About 1 am in the morning there was a alarm to leave the building, after it repeated 3 or 4 times, I got up to leave the building 10 minutes later, everyone could go back in.???? No exclamation.

Came out to a parking lot full of busted windows. There were at least 12 cars wirhout windows....mine being one of them. Very inconvenient. Security leaves at 7 am. This happened between then & 8am. Worker said this happens quite often due to the hotel not having security until people wake up & get out to their cars.

We love this hotel but this year they seem to have gone through a management change and the staff does not seem to be being held to the same standard as in the past. The bar tender was rude. The restaurant no longer seems to have table service at breakfast. Just not the caliber we are used to. We probably won't be back next year and that is sad as we have been staying the same weekend for almost 10 years.

Everything was great. Service was spectacular, the facility is great. The breakfast is worse than a uni dorm spread, which would only be acceptable if it had been included. Also, it is strange that mobile pay is not accepted at a national hotel chain.

Paid for breakfast for two when reserving the room but was charged again for breakfast post check out. Room service was unavailable due to lack of staffing. When eating at in house restaurant, we were served wrong food and drink due to inadequate staffing and the server not knowing where to find the drinks and were told the food was wrong because they just got new menus but didn’t have the food ordered for the new menus
