Property does need a bit of updating. Staff was great. Had a handicap accessible shower, my wife said it needed cleaning and the curtain didn't keep the water from getting in the floor very well, probably due to the handheld not having a wall hook so it would hang. Hot tub only had 2 jets working & not very strong at that. But overall it was ok for a night

The pool was good, the bubbles on the hot tub didn’t work. The carpet is dated, workable, but very dirty in places (like the fitness room). The fitness room didn’t open with a room key, you had to go to the front desk and wait till they were available to come open it. The elevator is very VERY slow. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and lovely A step up from basic but it’s def not Hilton.

The customer service was outstanding.The hotel itself needs a bit of a facelift as everything is much more worn in appearance than in the photos, especially the pool area. It was clean and comfortable though.

I was looking forward to soaking in the hot tub but the heater and jets were not working and it was just dirty water. The pool was not very warm so I settled for a cold swim. Staff was friendly, parts of the hotel were a bit run down (pool area, workout rooms).

The hotel was nice. We had a suite so we had a separate sitting area in our room. The hotel is pet friendly too and charges $15 a night if you have a pet. Only issue was the toilet running for a few seconds every five minutes or so but we just shut the bathroom door and it the sound wasn't an issue.

Great for a 1 night stay with the family. Just wish the pool had been available, we were told at first it was ok to swim, then told by another employee not ok but the hot tub was ok. The indoor setting for these was quite hot and made the area a little unbearable to be in longer than 15 minutes without away to cool down.

The hotel was okay. The room was outdated, but clean. The pull out sofa was awful (I know these are typically not great, but this was a whole new level of terrible). The front desk was anything but helpful. We were there on a Saturday, it was 95 degrees outside, and the pool was closed. We were first told it would be open no later than 4:30pm. Then we were told no later than 6:30pm, then it was 7:30 or 8pm. The last time we asked, it was 8:30 or 9pm. Not entirely sure what continued to delay the pool reopening, we were never told. The room served its purpose as somewhere to sleep, but it was disappointing. We only booked this hotel for the pool, which we weren't able to use.

The pool needs to be updated. If you have a indoor pool it should be heated instead of ice cold and no heat blowing out of the vents Couldn't even use spa to warm up due to not working. Heated pool is a must if it's indoors.

Stayed here many times but this was the dirtiest the room has been. Every wall/mirror frame was filthy. The main things like bed, sink, shower was fine but the walls and doors really needed a wipe down. Curtains had holes in them. Room also had a really bad smell. Hotel was sold out so we didn’t ask to move. Front desk lady was super sewer and helpful though.

While I have a list of specific complaints, the overall problem was cleanliness. Most locations in the hotel smelled of something- our floor smelled of cigarette smoke despite being nonsmoking. The heater in our room smelled so awful when we turned it on (in January) the whole room smelled so bad we had to step out. Bathroom was dirty, floor was dirty (found a chip on the back of one of the chairs), we had to ask for new sheets for the pull out bed… we tried to call down to the front desk and our phone didn’t work, the toilet didn’t flush all the way and after a few uses we didn’t feel comfortable using it in the middle of the night in case it overflowed. The staff was pleasant and helpful, especially the breakfast service person.

After check in, we didn't even stay for 5 minutes. When we arrived at our room, the door was cracked open by the safety lock. We entered and noticed the trash can wasn't cleaned out (beds did not look like they had been slept in) and we checked cleanliness of the bathroom and noticed a nasty cockroach in the tub. Snapped a quick picture and went straight back to the front desk. Both the receptionist and manager were very understanding and immediately refunded our money. Something tells us this isn't the first time this has happened :(

Bed was comfortable, shower was good and hot and room had all facilities. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well presented with plenty of choices in a pleasant, airy room. But....we had mold on our bedroom ceiling, the bed area smelled musty, bathroom ceiling had been repaired but not painted and the cupboard drawers kept sliding open all the time! Room was desperately in need of a proper upgrade and new carpet as it was quite dingy. This hotel is not close to "downtown" and had few dining options. The area is more of a truck stop location between freeways. There was a good Ingles market right next door so we ended up buying food there and using the microwave in our room .

This is the worst "Best Western" I have come across in my life. Exept for one person, other staff were extremely rude. There was no internet in the room for our entire stay. When asked, I was asked to call a toll free number and get it fixed myself ! There were no extra pillows and bedsheets in the room and when I asked the rude woman in the front desk started arguing with me that it is there. Very poor service for the money

BWs are hit or miss sometimes. I have stayed at some great and some not so great. This Downtown Knoxville location is not downtown imo, it is close, but you are not walking to your meeting. The bed and bedding was very comfortable, the light shades worked great and I slept very well. The room was quiet even though the hotel was full. I was a bit concerned about parking, I arrived at 1AM, long drive from the midwest, and found parking. I had no issues during my stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed 3 nights. I found the room a decent size, decor a bit dated but the place was clean and fully functional. The breakfast was basic, waffle and cereal. I do feel an easy improvement would include hard boiled egg, maybe I missed them. Not much for gluten free options, but it was enough for me, I was not on vacation.

The property is just a bit dated, but bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and everything worked just fine. Carpet was worn and frayed, but I had a cat with me, so maybe I was in a "pet" room. A couple dining options close by and a few more up the road. Easy access from highway.

I had a car accident tonight before and wasn’t gonna be able to make it but I rented a Uber to make it there for my reservation. Once I arrive there was $150 deposit that was required for whatever reason which was not disclosed when I ordered the room. And once I arrived and the lady at the front desk told me about the deposit. She also made the statement that they do not usually rent Rooms to locals. I was unable to stay in the room that I paid for due to these issues. I’m very unsatisfied with how the situation was handled and will never be using that hotel again.

Front desk staff was nice. A couple times they needed to be woken from a nap or asked to step away from their device as they sat at the counter when we needed to request items such as towels. Housekeeping staff was quick to accomodate and did left the room very clean following service. They were very polite.

First of all - this hotel is NOT downtown. It’s about 15 minutes to downtown. The hotel smells. The room smells. The door lock was acting up. The front desk lady was beyond rude. There are homeless people everywhere outside of the hotel. Including a sizable encampment. We asked for a refund, for all of these reasons and the difficult front desk lady refused.

To begin with, we walked into the lobby which had no air and it smelled terrible! We had to move rooms 3 times because the door would not lock. When checking out, I requested a partial refund because of the issues with our stay. He agreed to give a $100 refund but instead charged me an additional $100. When I questioned it, he argued with me that he did not charge me and I had to show him my mobile bank app to prove he did. After attempting to refund me again, he actually charged me AGAIN for the room! I am currently waiting for that to get straightened out. The breakfast was cold. The container with pastries had no tongs for getting out the food so kids were constantly putting their hands in to get out the food. Would never stay here again!

Jennifer and Pat at the hotel were so great, Jennifer helped me get a taxi when I couldn't Uber, Pat was very nice even though I came late for breakfast she took care of me even though she didn't have to.

There is nothing even remotely "downtown" about this hotel Homeless, prostitutes and police with a man and woman handcuffed on the hood of the car greeted me at the convenience store next to the property. False advertising doesn\'t even come close to summing this up. The staff, however, couldn\'t have been nicer and indicated that my complaints were typical Bad call and won\'t ever go back. I will stick to "truly" downtown and pay a couple bucks more to be safe. Fortunately my daughter spent the night on campus after dinner

I was a little skeptical of renting this place after reading some if the reviews but I decided to give them a try and am so glad I did. The place has some wear but they are doing a good job with the upkeep. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast is a decent breakfast. They had cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, teast, waffles, eggs or cheese omlets, sausage and biscuits. The staff in the breakfast room was on top of things keeping the food restocked. We would definitely stay here again when in town for the Vols games.

We enjoyed our stay here. The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was very quiet and very clean. The room is very big with two sinks and lots of mirrors throughout. Granite everywhere. The people staying here were all nice. I recommend going out for breakfast unless you only eat the waffles..the rest was ok. They did provide biscuits, gravy and eggs just not very tasty.

Stayed with my daughter and grandchildren. Back door was left open at night at all. I did not like that. Went for breakfast and staff was in dining room. Food was almost gone no eggs no biscuits. No milk. They made no attempt to see that it was restocked. Key card to our room was hard to work. Had it at the desk multiple times. Hotel was clean. Not sure if I would stay again.

We had a great stay overall. Jennifer at the front desk was so helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. The pullout couch was ok. We enjoyed hot tub as the pool was way too cold to use. Other hotel guest allowed their children to run & scream so didn’t stay in there long, The breakfast was so good! Only wish there would have been gravy.
