Big shower with 2 shower heads, clean room with hard surface floors, free breakfast included waffles, sausage, eggs, etc. Nice staff. Easy check-in/checkout. Plenty of free parking. Very nice stay.

Pool was heated, but not very warm. Minor cosmetic features of room need enhanced; snagged comforter(due to pet friendly) , window shade edges tattered. Overall an excellent location. Very pleasant staff, walk to Cracker Barrel.

Was amazing however the pool was super cold inside. However the lady offered to turn it up, usually takes a bit. The rooms don’t feel as homey as other hotels do , maybe due to the hardwood floor possibly. Other than that everything else was great.

Bed was incredibly well kept and clean and modern. The room itself left a bit to be desired. Bathroom, desk, extra chair, and air conditioner was very outdated. The pool was nice and small but quite cold by comparison to the room. Internet and television were very good and allowed for google streaming cast.

This hotel was perfect for our one-night stay as we passed through town. It was clean, well-priced, and welcoming for our dog. The check-in process was easy and they gave us a room convenient to the door for taking our dog out. I didn’t see a specific dog area, but we had our own waste baggies that I just put in the regular outdoor garbage. A designated area would be nice - if there was one, the front desk person didn’t let me know. The AC unit woke me up with a loud buzzing at about 4am, but it stopped after I nudged it and pushed the trash can against it. The complimentary breakfast was good, with lots of toppings for oatmeal and make-your-own waffles. I liked they had multiple types of creamer for the coffee. I haven’t stayed at a Best Western in years, but I’d definitely go back to a GLo property!

Good hotel, location is good, not noisy even though it’s close to the highway. Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, Subway, and a gas station all within walking distance. Jason and Tara at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom is twice the size of normal hotels, rooms are also bigger. Pool was too cool for me but husband and daughter liked it. Breakfast was ok. Bagels, muffins, danishes, bread for toast, oatmeal, mixed fresh fruit (watermelon was not good), yogurt with toppings, waffle makers; waffle mix was pumpkin flavored, I did not care for that, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and eggs, eggs were off. The scrambled had yellow water in it probably not cooked thoroughly, and the fried ones tasted watery.

Great hotel for the price and very clean. The hotel seemed short on staff. We booked a room for 2 and only got 1 washcloth in the room. When we called for a 2nd, they did not have housekeeping available to bring us one so we had to go to the front desk. The pool area was dark and extremely cold and the heated jets were not consistently working. When we called to get the lights on and temperature adjusted, we were told no one was available to adjust. One of the housekeeping staff stopped by and turned the lights on for us. Hotel is near the highway and super affordable. There are nice restaurants nearby. Again, can't be the price and indoor pool. I would just not use the pool unless it was warmer outside.

Just a basic hotel with modern decor. Shower was hot. Breakfast was poor to average. Room had a lot of led lights that made it hard to sleep. We also had to get a broom to clean under the bed and side tables. For the price I would stay in a Hilton next time I'm in town.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the Scarefest Convention going on over the weekend. We had a wonderful stay. The staff was super friendly and the room was more than we expected. Bathroom was HUGE and I am a huge bathroom person so that was also a huge plus! Definitely would return/recommend! The only reason I gave it a 4/5 for cleanliness is because there was, what looked like a dog treat, in our room the first night, and it remained in our room even when they cleaned our room the second day when we were out. Not a huge deal though because everything else was super clean!!

I called at 9 am asking for early check-in of 1:30 pm. I was told it would likely be possible. When I arrived at 2 pm my room was not available. No biggie as nothing was promised. At 2:37 pm I was told my room was ready. We then went up to the room and it reeked of marijuana horribly. So much so that I did not unpack my clothing. I had meetings all weekend and didn’t want to smell of marijuana. Changing rooms was not an option as the front desk told us they didn’t have any other rooms available after I told them I didn’t need a handicap accessible room upon arriving. I went into the bathroom to wash up and there was short blond hairs in the sink. It’s apparent to me that this room’s linens were changed but nothing else was done. Under the bed there were dust bunnies and hanging from the curtain was a spiders web. Disgusting. I won’t be back.

Staff was great, wonderful people. If I would have paid $100-150/night I wouldn’t bat an eye at the issues, but when being charged $360/night I expect a bathroom without mold/mildew and somewhat clean walls. Bathroom had dirty walls, it appeared water leaked from ceiling into outlet box. Mold and bulging drywall around shower. I did like that there was no carpet in the rooms. Fridge did not stay cold enough to keep food at safe temp, but is fine for water/pop. Thermostat was broken, but AC could be manually operated underneath a desk by window. The high ceilings in the room look nice, but make it harder to cool the room down when you get back. Bathroom barn door has no lock and has small gaps on either side, if you are alone or do not need privacy it is not a problem. For those rates I’ll go back to staying across the street at Quality and Mainstay. To be transparent I did not complain while we were there. Staff probably would have come in and cleaned walls or moved us if there was room. We checked in really late and were only there two nights so I just figure I will not return. From the photos it looked so nice and it certainly could be with some maintenance, I was just really disappointed with how much it cost. Lesson learned on my part.

Lighting was horrible. The light fixtures by the beds were so large & low you couldn’t even set a water bottle on the table without hitting the lights. Bathroom light was so dim you can’t see to put on makeup. Beds were lumpy & uncomfortable. Mold on the floor going in to the shower.

Folks above us walked around on their heels till midnight! We could hear everything, then they got up at 5 to leave! Room, shower, breakfast, front staff all were perfect, we would stay here again but would ask for a room on the top floor.

We stayed in room 215 for one night on our way to TN. We were right outside the elevators and ice machine and we mine as well not had a door on our room, it was so loud. None of us slept at all. The elevator and people at all hours of the night, ice machine being used as early as 5:30am. People above us were so loud, dropped something at 12:30am and woke us all up in a panic. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Bathroom spacious, shower was large and shower head had great pressure.

I've stayed here probably 12 or more times. The property is well located, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is good, and it's a good bake. But I'll probably never stay here again until they address 2 simple things which I've commented on multiple times. The rooms are dark and dreary, an easily correctable problem with one or more floor lamps. And sometimes the hot water is hot, sometimes it's not. Couple of basics that they just can't or won't get right.

Lobby was cool but sticky, only because they used too much soap/cleaner on floor. Breakfast was ok typical.breakfast at a hotel. Room was unique, i liked the barn door bathroom door.and it had a.walk in shower. I however didnt like that the tv couldnt be moved as its mounted on wall without a swivel on it. You could only see it in one bed. Having family that can be difficult

We found the hotel very well decorated, clean, and inviting. We loved the bathroom set up. And the breakfast was outstanding. The only problem we had was trying to connect to the TV in the room, but we are a bit technologically challenged!

We had the very unusual experience of checking in after driving through a frightening severe thunder storm with hail and flash floods that had the highway at a complete stop. When we arrived at the facility all power was out to places at that exit including the hotel. The lady checking us in named Amara was amazing. She was having to check to make sure no one was stuck in the elevator and checking people in without power and dealing with people who wanted to cancel their reservation. We were able to still check into the rooms because the door locks are battery powered. The lights unfortunately went out (they were under reserve but then that went out) in the one stairwell which the guests had to use so we had to have flashlights to get up and down the stairs. It got warm and humid in the room during the night without power and air-conditioning but was manageable. I really wish I could have seen the room with the lights on- it seemed really nice with what I was able to see through the light at the window. The bed was soft and comfortable. Amara gave us free waters for the inconvenience. She was really amazing and tried to make sure everyone was ok in a really hard situation. We left the next morning before the power came back on. I gave this location a great starred review because ultimately the people working at the facility and how they treat me and other guests is the most important part of the stay.

My mother travels in this area frequently and I book her rooms for her. She has stayed at Glo Best Western in Lexington several times and always has good things to say. For myself, I can’t say enough good about the staff. At one point in her stay, I couldn’t get ahold of my mother and so I called the staff asking for them to look in on her to make sure she was alright. They did so gladly and promptly. Hard to find service like that these days!

It is OK. Relatively quiet in the hotel but noisy outside and dangerous drivers around. Hotel staff who checked me in went out of their way to be nasty towards me but the person working the later shift was very pleasant. Facilities and amenities seem pretty nice. The night desk staff could use a little more training. Not the best first impression. The morning staff made up for it! Great hotel for pet friendliness. Excellent value for the money! Would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend it to others.

Honestly, I almost never take time to do reviews but this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Everyone was kind and helpful. We could text any questions we had to the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable. We went to the desk to ask if the had ibuprofen in their little shop and they did not but the receptionist was so kind and offered us some out of her personal supply which truly helped with my hip pain. Check in was easy and fast. Breakfast smelled great but we never woke up early enough to eat it.

The breakfast was delicious. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The parking was very good with accessible parking in the front of the hotel. Jason at the front desk was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in Lexington, Kentucky.

Just a basic hotel with modern decor. Shower was hot. Breakfast was poor to average. Room had a lot of led lights that made it hard to sleep. We also had to get a broom to clean under the bed and side tables. For the price I would stay in a Hilton next time I'm in town.

The hotel lobby and room accommodations were all clean and modern. However. The mechanics in our room were super loud The staff at breakfast was really nice and kept everything fresh. The quality of the eggs and sausage however, were pretty low and not very appetizing.

Good hotel, location is good, not noisy even though it’s close to the highway. Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, Subway, and a gas station all within walking distance. Jason and Tara at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathroom is twice the size of normal hotels, rooms are also bigger. Pool was too cool for me but husband and daughter liked it. Breakfast was ok. Bagels, muffins, danishes, bread for toast, oatmeal, mixed fresh fruit (watermelon was not good), yogurt with toppings, waffle makers; waffle mix was pumpkin flavored, I did not care for that, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and eggs, eggs were off. The scrambled had yellow water in it probably not cooked thoroughly, and the fried ones tasted watery.
