Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington/UK Coldstream

The lobby and atrium looked beautiful. I was attending a family reunion and had a lot of boxes. The suite was spacious and accommodating for all the stuff. My companion was highly complimentary of the breakfast. The bad news: The tub/shower has seen its best days and needs to be replaced. There were dust bunnies behind the door leading to the sleeping area. It's time for a refurbishing/replacement of the of the carpeting, & upholstered furniture. There was a charge for parking of which I was unaware.

I loved the atrium, so spacious and light, with greenery everywhere, and the soothing sight and sound of the water fountains. And then, outside by the parking lot is a lovely pond with walking area.

It is very dark parking lot at night, feels a little unsafe, a bit hard to find hotel as it is tucked back into the area. Made it very quiet though. A daily parking cost seemed unreasonable, I don’t think I have seen that before in hotels that were not downtown and right in city center.

Great property! Easy location for everywhere in Lexington. My only complaint is that you have to pay for parking. Parking lot is owned by a different company. Seems ridiculous when it is literally apart of the property and there is nothing else around.

Clean, professional staff…I like the way each room has a view of the atrium!

The property is absolutely beautiful. Very clean easy check in. Staff was nice and friendly. I was shocked at paying for parking in a suburban area, understand in a city but parking lot was very large. Even as a Hilton member no discount.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Kids enjoyed the pool. Evening reception was a great way to relax after the days travel.

We have stayed here numerous times over the years. The hotel is in need of some upkeep. We did appreciate the made to order breakfast and the pet friendly environment. Unfortunately they do charge for parking along with our visitors that came one evening and had to pay $20 just to visit us and have dinner there. I did enjoy the gym area which had a variety of cardio and weight equipment. Outside pool area has some chairs that are broken and should be removed from the area. Pool could be cleaner, we chose not to swim.

Pool looked a bit cloudy. Didn't seem like the water was very clean.

Easy check in. Rather perplexed on $15 parking charge. Lot for parking is massive and self parking. Managers reception was nice. A cold beer after traveling was appreciated. No “snacks” Small display was gone after 45 minutes. Overall facility is nice but dated. Music from the bar area was disturbing and heard in our room on the 3rd floor until midnight. Hello, my name is Jeffery Dorsey. My wife and I were staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington/UK Coldstream under itinerary number 72065793848508. We encountered multiple bed bugs in our original room (#212) late on September 7th. Although the staff moved us to another room, we were very uncomfortable remaining at this property for health and safety reasons. We were never offered the opportunity to speak with upper management, nor accomodated of our request for a room at another location. This has caused us major inconvenience as we were here for a wedding, and my wife was very upset and uncomfortable staying there. We were severely sleep deprived. We have already documented the incident and communicated it through the Hotels.com portal. At this point, we would like this escalated to a manager who can authorize a refund. We were not comfortable remaining at the Embassy Suites but we had to anyway because no one contacted us nor offered a different location. We never felt valued as a customer. We had to request for fresh linens the next day when our expectation was that fresh linens are provided daily. Ultimately, there was no sense of urgency to address our immediate concern anout the bed bugs nor were we satisfied with the quality of customer care provided. BED BUGS! ROOM 324, my daughter had a bug craw across her, she thought it was a tick. 1 AM, my daughters had a BED BUG in the middle of their bed. Further investigation showed the bed bugs coming from from the outlet and behind the bedboard. We were moved rooms (stay away from room 529 as well) no sleep that night. I stopped at the desk the next afternoon and was told by management they were investigating. The room i was moved into had no sheets, neither TV worked, no hand soap, and maybe 1/8 of a roll of toilet paper. When we were checking out there were no carts in the 5 level hotel ( there was only 1 the night I had to change tooms at 1 AM). I have been home 6 hours, and spent the time trying to figure out how to make sure the nighmare of BED BUGS doesnt come into my house. My daughter has bites on her, I showed them to the manager. NO ONE has reached out to me. I guess they got me out of the hotel, so I am not a concern.

Worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at. Floors were sticky everywhere in and outside the room. First night there checked in at 11pm went to finally shower it’s a stand up shower and it wasn’t draining water going into the living area outside the bathroom my husband pulled up the grate and the nastiest glob of hair and I don’t know what else came out and it drained right away. Something I’m guessing HK should do to each room Stains on sheets blankets and curtains. AC wouldn’t work second night front desk gave us a fab! A fan! And I paid 200 a night for this? Breakfast wasn’t like the Lexington circle location at all. Cold no creamer no regular syrup only sugar free fruit warm oatmeal was a huge clump I would give this hotel a 0 if I could go to the Lexington green location it was wonderful. Which is what I thought I booked instead I accidentally booked this one! Worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed in! I took videos and it won’t let me upload anything but pictures

A very clean environment.

Staff was nice. Rooms were very clean. I liked the clean smell when you walk into the hotel. The inside was beautiful.

Room was clean. Bed was not so comfy but overall stay was good. Breakfast was delicious.

A great stop off the highway for thru- travelers. Wouldn’t recommend a long stay due to the surrounding amenities. Clean beds but there hadn’t been an extensive clean in sometime. Hershey kiss hidden behind the bed when we had our dog with us, assuming from a previous guest, dust and cobwebs throughout the room.

Hotel in general was good. Unfortunately shower curtain and several other areas in the room have mold.

pull out sofa bed had what looked like blood stains on it. My son was disgusted by it. We went a bought an air mattress for him to sleep on. didn't think of taking a picture of it. room 440

The complimentary breakfast was delicious! I had a spinach, mushroom, and cheese omelette. It was so good! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable as well.

There were two televisions. The one in the bedroom would briefly show a pixelated picture followed by "No signal." The tv in the other room had every channel with "no signal" at night. In the morning, higher number channels could be watched, but local network channels, plus the guide, had the "no signal" message.

Lobby was spectacular but when we reached our room it was dated. Beds not very comfortable.

The hotel is dated and seems to be one of the oldest embassy hotels. It was very clean but dated. The air didn't seem to work well in our 5th floor room and it was hot most of the night. Very safe and clean hotel.

Beds were full not queen, hotel a bit outdated, tub didn’t drain properly.

We had quiet, spacious rooms. It was outdated but clean.

Air conditioner not working

A little lackluster compared to other Embassy Suites we’ve stayed at. AC didn’t work great in our room. Toilet - even after a repairman came in - did not flush well.

It was great but the pull out bed was very uncomfortable.

Lobby area looks very nice and upscale but rooms and room furnishings are very outdated. A/C system did not work well - room would not cool down the first night. Internet was buggy, and despite staff "help", we could not access the secure wifi. Otherwise, staff was pleasant and polite.

Received terrible customer service from am employees. We asked for a little extra time to check out because we had just woke up. We were told they had reached their limit for late checkouts. We didn’t want a late checkout we just needed a couple more mins to get our items packed. My husband then went up and tried to explain the situation because he thought there misunderstood what I said. He was threatened with police assistance out of the room if we were still there at checkout time. I’m so very upset. I’ve visited this hotel on many occasions on top of plenty other Hilton hotels and never have been treated in this manner. I doubt we will be back.

There were 2 ladies at the front desk one was very nice and the other criticized my wife and i because we did not have smart phones to scan there sign to pay for parking. She was extremely rude about it. To the point i wanted to walk out but didnt want to loose my money on the room so we stayed anyways

Great suite space Early check in was great and forever grateful i was able to check in early with elderly parents! Feont desk was very accommodating

We love the central location to the area attractions…shopping, dining, distilleries, Ky castle. Friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms and property, evening reception, and wonderful breakfast are all great amenities as well! Our absolute favorite place to stay! A great value!

Had a WONDERFUL visit. I have stayed at this hotel a few times now & the staff are always on top of everything!

We had an issue with our room that the front staff promptly resolved. Lobby was beautiful. Breakfast was great!

We requested our room to be cleaned. They made the bed, left dirty towels with no replacements, food that we brought up from restaurant on the desk, no cleaning in bathroom, and left the door open when we returned from the Rolex event at the Horse Park. My daughters case on the nightstand is missing with jewelry and mouthguard in it. This was late and my daughter and granddaughter were with me. I yelled get back we do not know if someone is in the room. So scary. $1,500.00 worth of belongings gone. The open door is totally unacceptable. When my daughter put the key up the door it swung open before the key touched the door,

They didn't have a room when we arrived, although we had a reservation. So we waited on a room and they said they would call us when it was ready. Finally, we went back up to the desk and asked if it was ready. She said "let me check". She then said it was ready. So it was about 8: 00 pm when we finally got checked in. It was difficult on my 86-year-old father. It seemed to be not so handicap friendly in the atrium area as we found it difficult to navigate the wheelchair.

We had a nice quiet overnight stay to break up our long travel weekend. We booked a King suite for our family of 4. It was a great size! We were able to stretch out and not feel like we were in each other’s way. I usually hate hotels because of how noisy they can be, but I can say even with a convention going on I was able to sleep without my sound machine. Staff were very friendly and had great communication. They texted us throughout our stay to see if they could assist with anything or get us anything. We would definitely book again. They do offer a nice breakfast for guests, including omelette/egg station but we did not eat breakfast there.

The staff were all very friendly. When we checked in there were some things that made me feel like the room wasn’t sufficiently cleaned. The first thing is my 6 year old grandson found a rolled up wad of gum in the chair in the bedroom and proceeded to pick it up and bring it to me. 2. Maybe the drawer on the night stand was stained but when I opened it looking for a menu for room service it looked so dirty I didn’t want to touch it. 3. I tried, unsuccessfully for 20 min to get a menu or in room dining options. When I called the number it would ring once then go to a busy signal. I called the front desk who informed me that I couldn’t get a menu by scanning the scan in the living room but I could in the bedroom. It didn’t happen and because my family and I thought this was an option they had gone out and I was left unable to get food. I am disabled and did not feel comfortable even with my walker coming downstairs alone. And 4, we did not discover we had no shampoo or conditioner till my granddaughter showered and wet her hair, but on a great note ~ it was delivered to our door within 10 min of me calling the front desk. Your hotel is absolutely beautiful. Every single staff person was professional, efficient, and kind and your made to order breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel Thank you Sincerely, Mona Baker

This report is a must if staying in Lexington Kentucky. So convient to explore the horse farms nearby. Close enough to The Ark Adventure and Creation Museum. The restaurant is wonderful and breakfast was awesome.

Place was easy to locate, right off I-75. Very nice staff, very clean hotel and very spacious suite. Enjoyed the free breakfast and evening drinks included!

Its been over a decade since I have stayed here. Some things look a little tired but the rooms are big and clean, pillows ans cushions are wonderful. Towels are super white but not too fluffy. I cannot complain. Its pretty decent. The breakfast is very good. Location is ideal especially for the horse park. The QR parking is a PITA however i would recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay again

The breakfast was great and the munchies at the bar between 5 and 7pm was a welcome surprise. The only negative I have is that the hotel charged fifteen dollars a day for parking in addition to the cost of the room.

Have always loved Embassy Suites...until this past weekend. Pull out sofa had fitted sheets that didn't fit and no pillows. Have always loved their breakfast. Made to order eggs were delicious but served with cold sausage.

Beautiful property and spacious clean room with comfortable bed. Loved the Happy Hour and Breakfast included but was less than enthused with a parking fee. C’mon. Give your guests a free parking spot. Courtyard By Marriott does.

The property was beautiful as always. I stay at this location twice a year and this year will be three times in 2025. One of the reasons I always stay here is because of your breakfast especially your freshly made pancakes. I can't express how disappointed i was to find out you no longer made fresh pancakes but yet serve pre-made frozen pancakes. I would like ask that you go back to making fresh pancakes. Thank you

Our stay was good. The bathroom in our suite needs a good cleaning along the base and in the corners of the room. I was not told ahead of time that there is a charge to park on the property. Really? That charge was removed. Also, the bar overcharges for drinks. The hot breakfast buffet has good offerings but it would be nice if the hot food stayed hot.

I am very annoyed at the $15 parking fee with $5 service charge. Service for what? Parking should be included in the price of the room. Also, room service app did not work and had to go downstairs to order.

We were told we need to order food from our room, however the phone said no food service. The host at our reception was less than helpful.
