This was a lovely stay, however the room was not to the standards of cleanliness that it should have been upon arrival (visible dirt on the bed frame and on the counter). Additionally the condition of one of the peloton bikes were almost unridable and unsafe and the other one wouldn’t connect to the app. The bourbon butter cake was a real treat. There was also limited handicap parking for my father.

We discovered that this property sells pool memberships to local residents. We spend two days there and no lounge chairs were open. We mentioned this to management and they apologized, but admitted that of the 150 people at, around, and in the pool, more than half we not hotel guests. Very disappointing!

Hotel was lovely very comfortable and the pool area was beautiful. Got great sleep and the room was nice. Only complaints were that the ice machine on our floor was broken and seems like it had been for awhile - fix that! And there were never guest towels at the outside pool area - also a pain. If you are going to charge a resort fee then make sure there are towels by the pool! But the pool was absolutely gorgeous and we really enjoyed it. The pool engineer was outside checking on the pool and was super sweet and brought us towels from the indoor pool.

Beautiful resort grounds, excellent indoor and outdoor pools with large hot tubs at both! Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean and relaxing. Many inviting areas around the property to relax and enjoy friends and family. Including a bar and outdoor gas fire pits. Would definitely stay here again

Poor "resort". More like a Holiday Inn Express. Guaranteed room was not available, hot tub was cool and paint peeling. No way to adjust room temp - set at 65 degrees and froze for 4 nights. Staff no help. Plastic sups and few amenities in rooms. My safe didn't work. Overall, looks like it needs work or management??

Overall a very nice hotel, however the indoor pool was closed for maintenence and though upon calling i was told it was open (there was an outdoor pool and hot tub available). The outdoor pool and hot tub seem to be poorly painted from a previous repair. The room was clean and convenient although i wish it had a microwave.

The room had clumps of hair on the floors and all over the bathroom. The area rug had not been vacuumed. Shower doors wouldn’t stay closed so water would pour out into the floors. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. There were no toiletries, soap, toilet paper, etc. in our room upon check in. Even after going to the front desk twice, the room still wasn’t cleaned. Lobby and hallways are not clean. There were used bandaids on the floors for two days before they were even picked up.

Room 526-the bathroom sink had dirt in it and one of the pillows had dirt on it. Room 447-the faucet on the bathroom sink sprayed on you when you turned it on. The shower switch did not work correctly.

The front desk staff was wonderful, but upon entering our room, we immediately noticed a bug on the sheets as we set our items down. A quick google confirmed it was a bedbug. We immediately went back to the desk, who were very professional, apologetic, and gave us a new room. But had to dispose of a blanket that had touched the bed, for fear of bringing it home. The new room was very pretty. But the TV went in and out, the A/C didnt work, and the bathroom door didnt latch. Upon checking out the next morning, i tried to speak to a manager. None were in that early. So, i tried calling one later. No call back. Several calls and days, and still nobody has contacted me. Horrible experience. Its a stunning hotel. Beautiful grounds. But the room experience was awful. Avoid this place.

The room was not the cleanest. The floor was dirty. The worst part was the cold shower i had to take the next morning and terrible water pressure from the sink. It was barely more than a trickle and it was hard to get a wash cloth wet or brush your teeth. I inquired at the front desk and all she said was, well i can see if we have an empty room and you can move. NO! When im staying with friends, im not going to pack up all my things and move away from everyone else. She shouldve at the very least offered a discount

Room was nice size, great view, but balcony area was filthy and hallway smelled like urine. Water pressure and air conditioning were extremely poor. Overall, worst Marriott I have ever booked. Definitely will not return.

The property is a little dated/run down. The workout facility was nice - plenty of options. The temperature control in our room did not work well at all. It was 73 degrees (way too hot) and we had the window open, it turned down to 68 and running on cool - and it never cooled off. Our friends' room was the same. It has a beautiful ourdoor area.

I booked tbis property for a cheer comp. We drove 3 hours from Nashville at 5:30am & attend the Central Bank center for a competition, of which we were there all day. I did not check in until roughly 9:pm. I had a clogged toliet and the air was not working, it was miserably hot and we got no sleep!! I checked out as early I could because we were so miserable. I ate ine time at rhe Bistro for 75 dollars. I was chared 25 twice and another 89 dollars was charged that did not beling ro me. Please don't stay at this property. The hallways are extremely cool, but the room was awful. Needless to say, we all drove home with zero sleep. After going for 20-hrs non-stop, I just wanted a cool room and some sleep. We got neither. Do not waste your money on this property!

It was a nice place, but the air conditioning didn't work. I asked about it politely, they said they would send someone up, never seen anyone. Room was 82 degrees all night. Said something in the morning, they comped me the cost of a bathrobe and then charged me for it after I left. I'll find somewhere else next time.

We did not have a good experience for this stay. The wait to check in was 20 minutes as they left one man to manage the desk with numerous check ins late at night. The gentleman left to manage the desk was kind and trying his best. Our family was tired after a day of driving and the wait was ridiculous. There were no luggage carts or anyone to help with any luggage, when asked for the luggage cart they simply couldn’t find any - we were told they were missing. The room was not very clean or quiet. This property has a bunch of construction going on with areas taped off in yellow tape. Not impressed, will be emailing Marriott.

The property was absolutely stunning. We loved the lights on the trees, the entryway to the hotel, and the design and layout of the lobby. The bar was excellent and the staff attentive. The front desk was friendly and helpful as were the cleaning staff. Very happy environment, very friendly, and honestly excellent pricing for such a nice hotel. Including room service, menus, and overall accommodations this hotel is one we will be returning to.

This hotel is my new favorite when I visit Lexington area. It’s conveniently located but yet it’s tucked away on a beautiful golf course setting. Everything you need is there including socks, shirts coffee - you name it. recently they’re on business. I was able to sit down their beautiful lobby with a cup of coffee and enjoy this peaceful atmosphere. Edifyone.com

Great place with comfortable beds. Amenities are modern. The staff are always smiling, helpful, friendly, and overall hospitable. Only wish is that the room service was 24/7 and only because I arrived after midnight and was thirsty from my travels. Otherwise is room service was excellent. Quick Uber ride from the airport was inexpensive. Overall great experience and will be staying here again when passing through.

Food and beverage is a disaster. Bar service was inconsistent. Restaurant food was uneatable sent back hamburger twice it was so over cooked it was crumbling. Saturday am it took 15 min to be seated and then 20 min to be waited on. Short staffed and no MANAGER, Server said they don't come in early. This was the morning of the Derby and lots of people wanted to eat before the drive to Louisville. They got up and left. Saturday evening there was a fire alarm. Guest left the building however there was no sign of management anywhere to direct them where to assemble. Fire Department arrived and had to make their way through the crowd. Having been a GM of large hotels this is basic management to have a fire plan in place. Would not reccomend this property to anyone.

We had a great stay! We live just an hour south of Lexington and wanted to get away for a night. The girls at the front desk were so friendly and accommodating. The server at the restaurant was great. The atmosphere and the bartender at the pool were amazing. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

The lobby was clean and inviting. The staff at the registration desk was friends and prompt. Unfortunately, there was not a working drain stopper in the bathtub, so I could not take a bath. The thermostat in the room did not work. I mentioned this to two employees. I called the front desk and I strike with someone at the front desk in person. Only the second time was I asked if I wanted it repaired. As I was checking out in an hour, that seemed ridiculous. It was very hot in my room all night. Breakfast was not the best quality, and the service was poor. Had to seat myself after waiting 7 minutes. Another family sat themselves as well, due to the wait and lack of acknowledgment by the staff. I cleaned my own table and found the breakfast options to be of poor quality, not what I expect from a Marriott. For $300, I had a view of a roof, in a hot room, with no bathtub, and a subpar breakfast.

The pools and hot tubs are very nice and relaxing. The hotel smells amazing! Very clean. We ate at the Bluegrass Bistro (inside the resort). The food was great and staff was friendly. Great place for couples and families to stay!
