Rochester Airport Marriott

When we stayed here 10/13/2024, both elevators were not working, and the toilet was not working.

We got Hotel at midnight due to flight delays. The elevators are down and we will have to carry the heavy sport gears up to the six floor with my 8 years old kid. The elevator was not fixed until two days later. The breakfast is supposed to open at 7am but no one was there until 7:20. We have to go somewhere else to get breakfast since we are in the rush for a competition. There are so many unhappy customers shaking their heads seeing the elevators are down for days.

Elevators were down for out 2nt stay. Made it very inconvenient to walk up and down with 2 small kids. Staff didnt bother doing house keeping nor take our trash for our entire stay because there was no housekeeping service. However there were some staff cleaning rms for new checkins? Made no sense. Trash were in the hallway from multiple rm because they didnt bother collecting them. Flies were flying around. Just gross.

The property should have been closed. It was in disrepair with two broken elevators; no way up to the rooms but the stairs….for 7 floors.

Pool and hot tub lacked proper chemicals and I did not get in. Room had a lot of wear and tear and beds were small.

Staff was very friendly. Room was ok, bathroom was pretty beat up looking, definitely needed repairs. Biggest bummer was the pool, we stayed there for the weekend so my kids could swim…the pool was green, and the hot tub was out of order. definitely was disappointing

It was a comfortable stay. However I was disappointed that the pool was closed 2 days out of 4

First of all ELEVATORS weren’t working they had me haul up luggage’s up five flights of stairs. I came to check in I had booked a two queen bed room they gave me a one kind bed and said we have rollaways and then they were like nope never mind we can’t bring it to you. Yeah ok as soon as we walk into our room we can spot the bed duvet being very dirty in a black color. We were there for two days and they didn’t fix the elevators. Staff was nice but hotel needs to really really do better

Chose this place from the name Marriott Airport. Thought Marriott would be a more nicer, cleaner, upscale place. It was not. And it was not that close to the airport to have the airport in its name. Pool and hot tub were both green. Tons of kids in hot tub and very noisy. Check in lady not pleasant as well. Won’t be back

Stayed one night for early flight the next day. Nothing glamorous about this hotel. Room was clean, bathroom was fine. Pool was chilly and hot tub was not working/taped off. Close to some stores and places to eat as well as a restaurant on site. Airport shuttle was great as was the driver.

I found a cockroach in the bathroom. It was disappointing as Marriott has always had a good reputation

For the most expensive nicest hotel in Rochester my room was disgusting and very dirty but everything else was amazing I couldn’t complain

Beautiful, quiet clean facility. Wouldn’t expect less from a Marriott. A must stay

My bathroom was disgusting. Clearly they didn’t clean behind the sink handles/on mirror because there was like toothpaste/soap splatter. I wanted to love it here. I was so dissapointed.

Room is dirty broken nosiy, there were insects. Missing furniture and leaky bathroom. Amenities pool was dirty and green. Staff were friendly check was easy but overall not worth the money and it ruins the brand name Mariott

At first glance this hotel looks like a hidden gem. Check in was easy and the staff were great. But the rose coloured glasses didn’t last long. The hotel is dated and needs some decent cleaning. The beds were clean but there was a lot of dust in our room. The pool was ok. A little cold, but the kids still went in. However the whirlpool was green and then marked out of order and never reopened. Pros- it was a quiet room, big tv, decent sized room Cons- every space needs a deep cleaning, not in an area for walking to amenities

Room smelled like smoke. Appears someone was smoking or vaping in the room

The property old without updates or renovations. Dark in lobby and halls. Bathroom doors badly marred and tub didn’t drain well and not attached to lower or elevate. Carpet dirty. Since I got bitten with bed bugs in another property, my bar is pretty low. Having said that— definite plus for dodging that!! Staff was excellent— Front desk and airport shuttle driver! But if the need presents again— I will not choose that property.

It was a decent stay for what we needed, which was a bed in a safe hotel for one night. The hotel has a noticeable need of renovation and updating. There was water leaking on the ground in our hotel room, not really sure from where. It was clean and check-in was smooth.

When we got there, I was charged for a another night of stay when I already paid for the one night of stay through Expedia. But when they take your card for the so-called incidental charge that you’re supposed to get back. They charge me $150 Instead. Also, the elevator smelled like weed. The whole fifth floor smelled like weed when we got off the elevator and our room smelled like it. It is the most disgusting smell ever I Do Not want to smell it but I do not want my child to smell it either. If you cannot smoke cigarettes you shouldn’t be allowed to smoke weed and do drugs either. I complained to the front desk and they gave me another room on a different floor. But you could still smell it and elevator. Absolutely disgusting. And then to be charged another $150 is ridiculous. I will never go back there or suggest anyone goes there.

Close to the highway, airport. Dining options were good, staff was attentive and responsive. The bed needed replacement, I didn’t sleep well either night.

The staff and property were nice but the bed was terrible the worst night sleep mattress desperately needs to be replaced .

Checkin process was smooth and easy and the agent was very friendly and attentive. Room was clean and quiet. The courtyard area was a nice place to relax with some coffee. It was nice to stay in a full service Marriott with complimentary coffee and wifi. We had a nice chat with the engineer as well. We would stay here again.

The pool and spa were clean and well maintained. The restaurant was good and the servers were kind. The lobby is beautifull and there was fresh water and coffee/tea for our refreshment. The double beds were a bit cramped for two adults and the bathroom was very small and needed an update. But, the hotel os in a very convenient area.

Good overall. Didn’t like the fact that we were given a room next to pool and there were to many running around and loud noise from kids. Everything else was good.

The hotel was good except the walls are thin. I was awake at 2,3,4 am due to wedding partygoers.

The bed in our king room was so old it was caving in the middle. Also, in the morning, there was no coffee in the lobby!! Would not reccomend this location.

Managers checked us in quickly and gave us an upgrade. A lot of dining options around. Very nice staff!

Front desk was less than helpful upon check-in and check-out but the rest of the hotel made up for it. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub made my girls' week! On-site restaurant was perfect for a mellow evening with trivia and great service (Italian server was so pleasant and treated my girls like royalty). Airport shuttle was great! I had to return my rental car and the gentleman who picked me up was so friendly and the gentleman who took us early in the morning was pleasant and helpful. If you wanted to leave the hotel, lots of dining options within walking distance too. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent accommodation. The staff was extremely polite and customer friendly. I would highly recommend this Marriott!! Very well located near plenty of restaurants shopping and entertainment.

Check in was a complete mess. The female front desk staff was not friendly and lack professional etiquette. I was very disappointed on how she handled everything. We waited because rooms where not available and housekeeping was behind. Terrible service. Also the elevator was not working. Just imagine people coming down more from 7th floor with very large suitcases. This is zero star service.

The gentleman at the front desk tried to be very accommodating for sure. Our first room had no hot water after running the cold water for several minutes. There was no coffee and it looked like it may have not have been completely finished. He quickly moved us to another room, which was kind. The only issue we had was that we were told earlier in the day to call when our flight landed and we had our bags and they would pick us up. Once we did that they said they were sorry, but they were too full and service was ending at midnight. We were stuck. We had to Uber to the hotel. This was very disappointing considering when I called earlier I was told I couldn’t get put on a list and I had to call when my flight came in. So just be careful that when you arrive you have a back up plan in case the shuttle stops running.

Overall the stay was pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves. Your staff was helpful and friendly especially to my children during a time of transition for our family. We felt more then welcomed and valued. Looking forward to another visit soon .

I was late arrival due to a missed connecting flight which shouldn't have been a problem as i had a confirmed reservation. Wrong. I arrived just after midnight only to be told i didn't have a room. I was told that since i booked through a 3rd party vendor, my reservation wasn't confirmed and i would have to work with them to find mydelf a room. I disagreed, as i am a Marriott member AND i had an email directly from their property confirming my reservation. Luckily Chris,the night time mgr, was able to find me a room of someone who had checked out for a wee hour flight out if rochester. He had the room cleaned as best he could with staff that was on...i was just happy to have a bed and clean sheets. But from there, i had minimal service. I was there 3nights/4days and my bed was not made once,towels were not changed out and the coffee downstairs was barely passable. Some person had cleaned out all the creamers and sugar,the lids did not fit the coffee cups and nothing was replaced for hours. We did use the pool and hottub...the area was nicely maintained, the water warm and fresh towels available. The location of the hotel was very convenient for my purposes...so i would stay here again. I would just be hoping the experience i had this time was a one off..although my concern is that it may not be, as i was far from the only one whose reservation was given up. While the room was serviceable,the bed comfortable and the shower had great pressure..the carpet needed vacuumi

We traveled from Florida for a Quinceañera. The hotel was clean with friendly and accommodating staff. This location was the definition of convenient. Right off the highway with TONS of food options. There’s even a mall just down the street. We got picked up by the local transportation called RTS On Demand and got to a from the mall for just $1 pp each way. Amazing!

Sign on pool door said open M-F 6:00-10:00, but was not open when I went down at 6:45. Night clerk didn't know anything about it, so staff training could be better. The free coffee near the front desk was also not available that early, and when it was refilled, it was so bad we couldn't drink it. Not enough USB and electrical outlets in the room. The mattress was old and not comfortable, and the box around the bed frame was coming loose so getting into and out of bed wasn't easy. Peeling wallpaper in the room as well. I'm sure it used to be a very nice hotel, but the rooms are showing their age.

AWFUL. The cook at the restaurant quit when we had already ordered our food and they had us sitting there for three hours before they told us. The water in our bathroom was BLACK. Cold shower. Not pleased.

Restaurant was excellent and the bar was fabulous excellent service. Thank you Andy for you great guest service we had an amazing time thanks you.

I am diabetic and you ran out of half and half. No option beside black coffee and don’t like it. Everything else was good

The hotel is very clean. Staff friendly. Kitchen closes too early on Friday and Saturday nights.

The staff were friendly and advised me of the best time to leave for my 5am flight. The room temp was perfect- I never had to touch the thermostat! The bed was the most comfortable bed! I was in Floor 6, but the shower reached temp in seconds! I had dinner in my room having ordered from the restaurant downstairs. Great burger and fries! I will definitely stay here again.

I love that the hotel has a nice restaurant and bar on site that serves very good food!
