This is a very nice house in Stowe. Great location in the town. Right across the street from a grocery store. Walking distance to a few restaurants and the chocolate shop as well. The house is well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. Easy drive to the mountain for skiing/snowboarding. The only part of the house that I would make sure you are aware of beforehand is the fireplace. It is not a very deep fireplace, and trying to get a fire going with 1 or 2 pieces of wood can be tricky. Any more than that and you run the risk of having smoke back up into the house (which is mentioned in the house guidebook when you arrive). Probably the easiest thing is to use a duraflame log to get a fire going and put 1 real log on top at a time. Also, this property does allow pets. My son is allergic to dogs, so we had to give him some allergy medication because of the fur that is invariably left behind (the house is very clean, don't get me wrong). Just be aware. Other than that, the house was wonderful. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We loved this home for our two families. It is very walkable to the downtown area and spacious. We did not cook much but the kitchen is really well stocked with everything you would need.

La maison est très chaleureuse et il ne manque absolument rien pour un séjour parfait. Que ce soit en raison des épices en cuisine, de la quantité de serviettes fournies, du bois fourni pour le foyer, de la qualité de la literie ou de la vaisselle, on se sent vraiment accueillis et bienvenus, comme si on demeurait chez des amis. Cette maison a une âme et n’a rien à voir avec un appartement anonyme qui n’a jamais été réellement habité. La maison est par ailleurs très bien située dans ce très beau village. Bien que près de la rue principale, elle est très bien insonorisée et nous n’entendions aucunement la circulation. Nous tenterons sûrement de revenir. Merci Helena et David.

We stayed at this wonderful property for a week in late March and it exceeded our expectations. The house is spacious, has a perfect location walking distance to the Stowe Village center and Stowe Resort shuttle, and it is fully stocked! As a family with two little kids, we were so pleased to have a lovely dining room, well-stocked kitchen, comfy living room and full sized washer/dryer at our disposal. While we didn’t use the fireplace, I could 100% see using it once our 2.5 yo is no longer in his “must touch everything” phase. We look forward to returning soon!

I traveled with 4 older teens for a long weekend skiing trip at Stowe Resort. The home is nicely located near the village of Stowe. The home is very comfortable and has everything you will need whether you are staying for a weekend, a week or a month. The village of Stowe is within walking distance and there is a grocery store within a block. Even though we were all in one vehicle, there is ample parking. We didn’t used the outdoor patio / grill but I could tell that it would be a nice place to cook, dine & relax on a summer or autumn afternoon / evening. We didn’t build a fire and were plenty warm enough with the homes floor radiant heat which was very consistent without the dryness of a forced air furnace. There were plenty of bathrooms for our party and beds were all comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was a welcome retreat after a long day of skiing. I stay in 6-8 rentals each year. This has been by far the best home I have stayed in and the hosts were exceptional!

The house is spotless with an extremely well appointed kitchen. The sitting areas are cozy with a lovely fireplace at the center, and the bedrooms and bedding are very comfortable. And lastly, the homeowners were super communicative even after our stay when we forgot a couple of items. The only very minor thing we chatted about as a group was that the heat was slightly variable by room. But that 100% could have been user error. We loved our time in Stowe!

I would highly recommend staying at this home. Helena was responsive and provided all of the information ahead of time for check-in. The house is located near a market and is walkable to coffee, restaurants, etc. The home had everything we needed to cook dinner, and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the VT summer.

The house is absolutely lovely. It is so clean and well appointed. The beds are super comfy. It’s a 5 minute walk to village shops, restaurants and free shuttle up to the mountain. Couldn’t ask for a better fit for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers.

The beds are amongst the most comfortable of any VRBO listing we’ve stayed in and so are the couches!!! It was a fabulous house to just sit and enjoy our friends after a long day at the slopes! David and Helena's house was amazing and they are great hosts! If Stowe is the quintessential New England ski town, this is the quintessential ski house. Perfect for multiple couples with kids, we fit 4 adultd and 3 kids easily. It's nicely appointed and perfect location with walkability to town and short drive to the mountain. Staying here really made our vacation spectacular, would come back for sure.
David and Helena's house was amazing and they are great hosts! If Stowe is the quintessential New England ski town, this is the quintessential ski house. The coziest home on Main Street in Stowe! We loved our time here. The snow, the fire and the town in walking distance was simply perfect. The owners were fantastic and extremely responsive! We hope to go back year after year!

The home was beautiful and had all the details for comfort. The owners were super responsive and really kind. We skiid at stowe and this was the perfect location. grocery a skip away and house equiped with everything we needed to cook dinner for the children. I look forward to staying again.

David and Helena's house was amazing and they are great hosts! If Stowe is the quintessential New England ski town, this is the quintessential ski house. Perfect for multiple couples with kids, we fit 4 adultd and 3 kids easily. It's nicely appointed and perfect location with walkability to town and short drive to the mountain. Staying here really made our vacation spectacular, would come back for sure.

The property is located in town, walking distance to great drinks spots like The Whip and a completely doable distance to the mountain for avid skiers. The house is spotless with an extremely well appointed kitchen. The sitting areas are cozy with a lovely fireplace at the center, and the bedrooms and bedding are very comfortable. And lastly, the homeowners were super communicative even after our stay when we forgot a couple of items. The only very minor thing we chatted about as a group was that the heat was slightly variable by room. But that 100% could have been user error. We loved our time in Stowe!

I would highly recommend staying at this home. Helena was responsive and provided all of the information ahead of time for check-in. The house is located near a market and is walkable to coffee, restaurants, etc. The home had everything we needed to cook dinner, and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the VT summer.

We enjoyed our stay and took full advantage of being able to walk around Stowe. It was refreshing staying in someone’s home instead of a generic condo! The hosts were very responsive and we appreciated their recommendations for local restaurants. Thank you for having us.

This is a very nice house in Stowe. Great location in the town. Right across the street from a grocery store. Walking distance to a few restaurants and the chocolate shop as well. The house is well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. Easy drive to the mountain for skiing/snowboarding. The only part of the house that I would make sure you are aware of beforehand is the fireplace. It is not a very deep fireplace, and trying to get a fire going with 1 or 2 pieces of wood can be tricky. Any more than that and you run the risk of having smoke back up into the house (which is mentioned in the house guidebook when you arrive). Probably the easiest thing is to use a duraflame log to get a fire going and put 1 real log on top at a time. Also, this property does allow pets. My son is allergic to dogs, so we had to give him some allergy medication because of the fur that is invariably left behind (the house is very clean, don't get me wrong). Just be aware. Other than that, the house was wonderful. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The house is absolutely lovely. It is so clean and well appointed. The beds are super comfy. It’s a 5 minute walk to village shops, restaurants and free shuttle up to the mountain. Couldn’t ask for a better fit for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers.

The house was so comfortable, clean, designed beautifully and had everything you'd need. The beds were amazing with great linens and comforters. The kitchen had everything you'd need, including tons of spices. We were so sad to leave!
