We received a warm welcome from the host and a tour of the accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast was lovely.

This was a stay of two halves. The host was lovely and helpful on arrival even when we arrived late. This was very accomodating and appreciated. The continental breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had over the years. Fresh coffee, fruit and cereal were a great start to the day. The house was clean, well maintained with a nice atmosphere. However, we had a couple of issues which affected our short stay. Firstly, our room didn't have a duvet just a a sheet with a bed runner / throw. Whilst we appreciate its been hot recently, it would have been nice to have had the option of a normal duvet or a spare blanket in the room. This was a minor issue but one that affected our sleep. Our biggest issue was the lack of hot water on the second night of our stay and the morning of our leaving. We came back to the property around 10 in the evening to find no hot water forcing us to have cold showers. We felt unable to communicate with the host due to the time of the evening, and hoped the water would be hot by the morning. By 7.30 the next morning, the water was luke warm. All in all, the property was nice with good breakfast and a nice host but a few things let it down.

A very comfortable stay with everything I needed. A nice breakfast was included.

Lovely host with a very inquiring mind. Room was spotless and very well thought out. We were visiting my daughter and grandchild and this was an excellent base and very good value

Nice room and well maintained , Breakfast suited me but my partner prefers cooked , but still great value for the cost , the Bed was have me a lovely nights rest , will stay there again if we are in the area .
