It was decent enough - didn’t realize it was a motel when we booked. Always had to ask for the pool to be unlocked for my kids to get in. The hot tub was ice cold and the pool not that clean. Service was fine. Always had to ask for extra towels. Didn’t try the breakfast. Decent enough ~ affordable but wouldn’t stay again.

I really wanted to say something like “for the price, it was a great stay” but I can’t. We were met by tiny roaches running across the dresser and bathroom floor, the air conditioner took a whole 24hrs before it even began to cool off the room, the carpet was wet, and the sheets smelled like they’d been left 3-4 days in the washer then dried and put on the bed. Breakfast was a choice of a flat pancake-shaped egg with sausage links or stale cereal. They decided to shock the pool in the middle of the day on our first day, so we couldn’t use the pool at all. Check-in lady was super nice, though.

It was a little sketchy. Parking was an issue due to large trucks parking in places they shouldn't. Our room smelled wet and dingy. There was mold on the upper wall in the bathroom. Just felt dirty. Don't plan to swim! The pool was unkept and full of algae.

The night I checked in the boiler broke receptionist said I would get a discount and that it would be fixed next morning by 10 I was tired and wanted to lay down so I stayed but it wasn't fixed until midnight Sunday the day I checked out. I later received a $33 refund which is B's I understand things happen but I should have gotten at least one night free I was repeatedly told that it would be fixed within the hour

As soon as I walked in to room I went straight to the bathroom. After I closed the door. I looked around and saw a live roach by the faucet. Restroom wasn’t swept or mopped. The liner in bathtub was coming apart. When I sat on side of bed all I could feel was hard wires. The plugs weren’t working. The pool was filthy. Total hotel needs a thorough cleaning.

Room was DIRTY. Literal dust and dirt falling from the curtains when we opened or closed them, the box spring cover had mud/blood and dust all around, doesn't appear to have been changed any time recently. I could feel how crusty the carpet was with just socks on, would not walk around barefoot. We checked in at 11p and were exhausted from travel, when we spoke with front desk staff the next morning about the unsatisfactory conditions, and they rolled their eyes and argued, saying we would have had to come complain about it the night before, and they weren't going to do anything. We are currently working on making a corprate level complaint to get reimbursed for this terrible stay.

I have terrible experience the worst ever have, very dirty sheets with stains bathroom with hair and insects, cockroche, spiders.An insect crawl on my face and the for my arm at time i wake up screaming to my husband and I couldn't sleep all night it was a nightmare. There were small cockroaches and crickets in our room. Mold and mildew in dirty shower which had hair indicating it had not been cleaned. Thought it was a modernized La Quinta, but was just a refurbished Motel 6. Had exterior doors, no security features, could hear everything around you. Beds hurt your back. Photos are very misleading. They repainted and got new bed coverings to appear like a modernized La Quinta but it is not. Would NEVER recommend for family regardless of the price.

The lobby was musty smelling when we checked in and the room was even worse. It smelled old and musty. It was very humid in the room even with the AC running. There were cobwebs and bugs on the ceiling and i killed live bugs in the main room and bathroom. The couch and other furniture looked like it was from the 70's. This place needs a remodel and update.

Very old and worn down hotel. We did not feel safe here. The a/c sounded like a jet engine everytime it turned on. the beds were very noisy. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everyone in other rooms.

To say the walls and floors here were paper thin would be an understatement. The people above us were up late at night. They weren't partying, they weren't being obnoxious. They were just walking around in their room. But the footsteps were so loud in our room. I can't blame the people upstairs, they are allowed to stay up as late as they'd like, but the ceilings shouldn't be so poorly constructed that I have to hear every single footstep. Neighbor conversations I could hear clear as day. Would not recommend.

First of all, this property is a motel, not a hotel as advertised. Secondly, it is a very poorly renovated motel. The room smelled awful, doors didn’t close and in room amenities didn’t work. DO NOT waste your money on this location. We actually checked out and found a proper hotel to stay in and the lady at the new hotel told us that they get a lot of people from the la Quinta who say the exact same thing.

There was a poor coordination with front desk personnel since they gave our room access to another customer. A stranger ended up forcibly opening our room door in the middle of the night which terrified us. Front desk even made it sound that it was our fault and was not even apologetic of the situation.

Staff was very friendly, Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. They had the same thing both days. Location was very convenient. Many restaurants nearby, Short drive to the University. I was there 2 nights for my granddaughter's Family weekend. Had a good night sleep. To be honest the place was better than I expected. I read some of reviews after I had already booked it and was kind of having second thoughts, but I went ahead and stayed as everything else was all booked. I saw nothing of what some of the reviews said. The room was very Clean and comfortable..

The front staff was great. Very polite and helpful. The room was clean and very well maintained. I was traveling with my two kids and felt safe. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have the staff to do breakfast, but things happen. Overall I was pleased.

The property was in need of an upgrade. Electricity went off in our room due to some on site construction. Staff did not give me another room until I walked up to office and asked five times. Poor customer service and I will not stay there again.

The refrigerator was not working. I called the front desk nand told them. He said he would be right there. He didn’t ever come!!! The air conditioning had a strange smell. We asked for a wake up call. They did not call us!! I would never stay there again

The property, overall, was nice and clean. The lobby and main office area was inviting and welcoming. Our room could have used a bit of TLC in a few places (room maintenance), but our room was clean and ready for us. The front desk lady was excellent, as she was friendly and welcoming.

After we checked in and dropped our stuff we left. We came and found all of our stuff gone. They booked our room to another couple, put all of our belongings in trash bags and we had to hunt it down. They apparently didn't record they had already given us the room and thought our stuff was just left behind.

The stay was fine. I always like to stay at La Quintas because the beds are comfortable and the free breakfast is nice. This hotel is old but it was clean and the breakfast was good; lots of choices except for fresh fruit. The people were nice. We had an issue with the charging station for our phones and it was taken care of at a timely manner.

I didn’t like how there was a guy walking around in a back pack who asked us if we were leaving. I saw him going around the parking lot couple times. The place was dirty. In the restroom there was dirt like if it didn’t got swept and the fridge didn’t work that was the main reason why we chose this hotel. So we had to go buy bags of ice to kept the food from going bad. Another thing breakfast wasn’t good there pancake machine wasn’t even working.

The room was clean but the surrounding area was a little sketchy. But the hotel was well lit and we did not have any problems. Breakfast was subpar and eggs ran out quickly. The phone did not work in our room and I requested it to be fixed the night we got there but it never was. I also paid cash when we checked in but was later charged on my card. It was reversed but still an inconvenience.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!!!!! I only stayed here because the Marriott properties were sold out because of TX State’s Parent Weekend. The non smoking rooms smelled like smoke and mold, my toilet was over flowing, there were dead bugs everywhere, the AC in the room didn’t work and there were sketchy people in the parking lot.

Staff and cleanliness was great. Breakfast was terrible. Coffee tasted like water. The juice dispenser was not refilled and only put out sugar water. People working on vehicles, camping behind their vehicles.
