The first thing I saw when I pulled in was a scissor lift parked in the round-about drop off area and the pool was drained with a pump still in it. The hotel itself smelled musty as though recent water damage had occurred. Check in was smooth. Went to the room and the toilet seat was broken so that if you sat on it it would pinch your leg and the shower rod was ripped out of the wall on one side. Told front desk and both items were repaired within about 1 1/2 hours. Maintenance men did not clean up after themselves. The room has a balcony that is locked out due to unsafe conditions. The A/C worked fine. The ceiling fan rattled so we had to turn it off. Hot water was not hot, just warm. Elevator was dirty and first floor call button was broken. All hallways were dimly lit and ongoing repairs were noticeable. Breakfast was typical hot breakfast you would find at any standard chain hotel. Rehydrated eggs, frozen sausage patties, waffle station, muffins, juice, etc. Juice machine was broken. Coffee tasted burned. Overall I would give the entire stay a 2.5 out of 5. I think the hotel as it was last night 8/29/26 - was not worth what I paid.

I will say this. It was already an emotional time because I was taking my daughter. We stayed there to drop off my child for her. We stayed there to drop off my child for their first day in college. I've stayed at other Comfort Inn locations. It's not top tier, but it's not usually bottom of the barrel. And for the price, it was something that we could afford. Upon arrival, we were advised that the elevator didn't work and we would be compensated through points. We had so much going on, and we had the items in our car. I really didn't have time to just cancel the reservation and go elsewhere, but I should have. Once we got in the room, we did notice a smell. It was kind of warm in there. We just turned on the AC and kind of dealt with it. We also noticed it was right by the highway, our room, and we realized that we were going to hear the traffic on 35 all night long. I was not aware of that when I booked, but that's on me. When we went to take a shower later that evening, we only had enough towels for two people, and we had three people in the room. And also the bathtub was very dirty. It was after cleaning hours and later in the evening. I did not reach out to the hotel staff to let them know that it was clean. Going forward, I would never stay there again.

This is probably the worst experience that I’ve had staying in hotel. First of all the elevator was broken and apparently that had been the case for a very long time. The room was stinky, smelled very moldy, rips on the sofa, shower not hot, cracks in the sink. This property is very poorly maintained. I understand that it is an old building, but the ownership is doing absolutely nothing to maintain this property. Location is great though and it is close to restaurants and the school. Breakfast was served, which was okay, but overall the experience was not very pleasant.

There is just sooooooooo much. I stay with Comfort Suites often in my travels and usually am very pleased. However, this hotel was simply falling apart. I had 2 rooms - BOTH had water leaks - one was so bad that a trashcan had to be placed outside my door by the desk person - who was very apologetic and had a great, humble spirit even with the worst of happenings. The charging port did not work, the curtains were falling off, the bathroom needed a complete overhaul. The rooms reeked of must and mold.....just sad The staff was THE redeeming quality of this hotel. My photos would not upload, which may be for the best
