I reserved a suite room for 5 people to sleep. There was one towel in the bathroom and it was covered in stains. The shower curtain did not close all the way and water got all over the floor. My daughter went down for breakfast and was told they ran out around 8:40am. The pool closing at 9pm on a weekend was a bummer. The kids wanted to swim but couldn’t. The staff does not come in and clean the rooms unless requested.

The staff was nice. It was quiet and felt very safe but the hotel was not kept clean. Elevator floor was sticky, the common area carpeting by the 4th floor elevator had food crumbs the 2 days we were there so nothing was every vacuumed. Indoor pool water was cloudy and ice cold.

The room had a lot of wear and tear. The couch in the room was old and sunk in. The cabinet where the fridge was located looked old and had many wear marks. The white comforters had red stains. The exercise room was out of order. The bathroom sink was clogged. I notified the front desk about the clog and they did fix it later that day. Breakfast was to start at 7, however, many items like the eggs, sausage, drink machine were not available until closer to 7:40 am. We had to leave for an appointment so we really didn't get breakfast. I feel like I paid too much for my stay, for the small amount of amenities that were available.

The room was nice and clean. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train coming through the room everytime it kicked on! There was no hot water and I literally mean none! The tub wouldnt drain so when you did try to shower yoi had to stand in cold water. It was aweful.

Hotel staff was friendly and ease of check in. Room was clean and ac worked. Had a ceiling fan. Lol quiet location was great for our stay needs. Pool was dirty for an inside pool and water was cold not heated. No hot tub. Breakfast was typical continental and was ok. Ice machines worked. Gym was out of order. After hours noise policy was none existing around 1-3am for ppl.

Arrived at hotel after 14 hours on the road only to be told there was no hot water and they did not know went it would be fixed. Asked about another Comfort Inn in the area. Desk staff person connected us by phone to another Comfort Inn 4 miles away that said they had a room. Told the second hotel we were on our way and to hold the room.. Back tracked the 4 miles to the second hotel only to be told they did not have a room. Found another hotel chain finally to get a room for the night.

This location had pretty good reviews, so we went with it. Our daughter was especially excited about the indoor pool. However, the first night we had unpacked and were getting ready to sleep I noticed a few small dead roaches in the bathroom floor. The next morning, I had also noticed along the side of the mattress my daughter had slept on had small curly hairs (DEF not from her body or from our family at all, who had not been on that bed). Because of my obligations I was too busy to request a new room, so I didn’t have an opportunity mention anything to the staff until we were requesting more towels at the front desk. She seemed to be unconcerned and said that if we need them to come and spray they would do that. I walked away thinking that I don’t want fresh pesticides in our room. No other options were offered. The walls were also pretty grody, and around the beds against the walls had dust, hairs, and crumbs. The pool was far from inviting. It was murky and freezing cold. My daughter was adamant about swimming so she stayed in 5 minutes before giving up on any hope of enjoyment. I told her to not put her face under water at all because it seemed questionable. Not to mention the loud fan haphazardly placed in the wall drowning out any hopes of enjoying a conversation with your company. I’m usually not one to give negative reviews but I was actually very disappointed in this stay.

The hotel was pretty dirty from the elevators to the room. Our room had musty smells. The bathroom seemed to have been cleaned in a rush and the shower curtain had some gross stains that were either mud or blood. We took our son to the indoor pool, the reason we picked this hotel since the weather is still cold, but our key card didn't work. When we finally got in with the help of a family that was leaving, we saw that the light switch had to have tape on it to keep the lights on. The pool was cold and the chemicals were so strong, my son's swimming trunks changed color. He had a sore throat after swimming for a few minutes. We had to take him back to the room to shower immediately. The next day, the breakfast room was closed off until 7:30. We were in a hurry and had to be somewhere, so we had to ask the front desk what time was breakfast after waiting for 30 minutes. The food was already there, the room just had not been opened. The eggs and sausage were cold and just sealed the deal for us. Sadly, we won't be staying here again.

When we arrived they had no more king rooms which is what we’d booked ahead of time and paid for in full. We were given a double bed room and it was NOT clean. The bed skirt had old food stuck to it. There was hair in the tub, the chair in the room looked as though it had never been cleaned. There was stuff stuck to the walls. Overall the hotel is disgusting and outdated to say the least.

The room was filthy. We found at least four insects. There was mold in the shower and it was dirty. Floors were distrusting. cobwebs hung from TV, ceiling, and ceiling fan was so dusty it looked like it was suede. There was unidentifiable sticky substance on night stand. There was hair in the sink. There was dirty tips behind the bed. I would not let my bare feet touch the floor.

The hotel has obviously had water damage. Smelled like mold. Felt damp. The ceiling in our room had been somewhat patched. Wallpaper was peeling. We left and found a room elsewhere. The mold smell was terrible.

From my wife: Our visit to this hotel was DEPLORABLE. My son and I traveled to San Marcos for a college tour 11/2 – 11/4 and checked into this hotel. That night, right after my son fell asleep, I started finding roaches on my bed. When one crawled across my ARM, I freaked and tore the bed apart. There were more roaches under my pillows! Went to the bathroom to wash my hands and turned on the lights to find roaches EVERYWHERE! At least a dozen on the bathroom counter, some crawling around inside my son’s toiletries bag. I’d had enough. I woke up my son, we packed our bags, and went to the front desk. We were moved to a higher floor. My only other options were to check into another hotel in the middle of the night or sleep in our car if our new room wasn’t better. We were given a room on the 4th floor. The room seemed nicer but I still spent time looking for roaches before I could sleep. On our 2nd/final night, it was late and I was on my bed when another roach crawled across my arm AGAIN! I tore apart the bed and didn’t see any more. After not finding any more roaches, I put myself into a Melatonin coma so I could sleep. We of course skipped the free breakfast and checked out the next morning ASAP. During our stay, I made multiple attempts to speak with the day manager. Either she was (conveniently) gone or too busy and she never returned our messages. My advice: DO NOT STAY HERE. This place should NOT be allowed to rent hotel rooms to ppl.

Absolutely terrible stay. Room was not cleaned at all. Dead cockroach found in window, microwave had old food left in it, a/c unit so loud we couldn't sleep. Checked out early and staff has been uncooperative regarding these issues. Would never stay here again.

Please do not stay here until you verify your room is clean. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures but we found a pubic hair on the tub and dental floss on the floor.. they didn’t even vacuum the room… for the price you can get a cleaner hotel. The breakfast was fine though and it includes the parking lot

Unclean and infested with roaches. There was a live roach in the bathroom when my kid and I arrived. I woke up at 4:30 am on the second night and killed the 4th roach in our room over two days. We left shortly after. We were unwilling to even try the breakfast. If there are roaches in the rooms, there are roaches everywhere. The floors in common areas were not cleaned (swept, mopped, vacuumed) at all during our stay. Stains on the furniture (couch, chair, headboard). A/C was loud and inconsistent. I will never stay at a Comfort again. It was nasty. I tried to be tolerant because I didn't want to lose money, but I lost sleep instead.

Not a good day experience. Checked in with issues in the room (AC and a nonfunctional light) we had to be moved to another room, although the AC was working the unit was super loud, every time it kicked on you thought it was going to fall apart or explode!

Good at the start but at the moment of using the sofa bed it had a mattress that wasn't comfortable at all and the person sleeping on it slept uncomfortable and it didn't have covers or pillows for it. And when I asked for them they barely had any pillows for it

When we checked in the desk clerk she was rude. She then gave me a key to a room and it was dirty, bed was not made , there was trash in can , dirty towels on top of the toilet . Room was not clean at all. My wife and I then went down stairs and told the clerk it was dirty . She gave me another key for a different room. My wife and I went upstairs for the second time and but the key didn't work. I went downstairs again and told the desk clerk the key didn’t work. She then gave me another key for a third different room. I went up for the third time. Room also look dirty .

Upon on arrival the desk lady in the evening was not very welcoming. That same day we had trouble with our restroom. Told them the issue and she said couldn’t fix it plus I had arrived after hours. Reported it again in the morning and the lady was never nice and took care of the issue right away.

The service was horrilble from the time I walked in with no one at the front desk for 10 mintes. When she finally came to the front. Her attitude was bad...20 mins later I checked out and demanded a refund because of roaches! The room was nasty and dirty with food under the sofa chair.

Where do I start!! The staff was very nice and the AC and hot water worked so there is that. Now for the not so good part. 1st - multiple vehicles were broken into with windows busted out. 2nd - the carpet in the room and the bathroom floor was dirty and sticky, my feet were black from walking on them 3rd - the AC was leaking all down the wall and onto the carpet. The whole floor was wet by the closet and one of the beds which was giving off a mildew smell. 4th - the grounds and the inside is not maintained well at all.

We had a very good stay, all the people that work there were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good (wish they had a more selection of begels or bacon too) but what we had was delicious. My husband and son had waffles, juice coffe sausage eggs yogurt. I has bagels and muffins and coffe and juice it was very good...thank you so much

Fan was broken in bathroom, the device that holds the coffee filter was missing, so no coffee for me unless I went down to the lounge. The walls were dirty. TV only got about 7-8 channels. Morning clerk was rude. No personality at all! Night clerk was super nice. The eggs at breakfast were in a bag and steam cooked. Yuk!!! Definitely will not be staying there again.
