Prior to booking the hotel I called what I thought was the hotel’s local number to confirm the pool was open. The person I spoke with told me (in quite a rude tone) that the pool was definitely open. When we arrived, after a 7 hour journey, the first thing the front desk informed us was that the hotel was under construction so the pool and bar/restaurant were closed. The bar/restaurant in the hotel was the main reason we picked this hotel. Moving forward, the staff were friendly and courteous. We decided to extend our stay by 1 night due to weather/travel conditions. Hotel was happy to accommodate however our room was not serviced once during the 4 day stay. No new towels, no garbage emptied, etc.

It was confusing to be told there would be no dining room service and no pool service but see other patrons. Having used the pool and dining. We would have planned differently if we had known the description was not accurate. We understand that the property is under renovation and that was totally expected, but it would have been nice for the email that came the same day as checking in to be more accurate. The noise was limited to daytime hours and we were pleased by that. There was very little inconvenience due to the renovations otherwise and the lobby was beautifully kept. Coffee service was lacking and that was a disappointment for my family.

an old bar of soap was left in our shower and there were 2 dogs in the room across the hall that were barking at different times. There was also construction noise on Saturday morning. Meals were great. Pool was cold- we did not swim because of it.

The property is under complete renovation. No lobby, no gym, no pool, the morning bfast was available for a fee. We had an entire team that stayed there with all of their families. There was no gathering space offered... so everyone was stuck in their rooms. One room smelled of cigarette smoke and weed.. workers were coming and going from one of the rooms (high school girls team). There was no notice of these renovations and zero concessions... not even complimentary water. If we had been made aware of these renovations we would have stayed elsewhere. This is a special trip for these girls many are seniors so this was their last trip together. Unfortunately, this was a sad experience that could have been avoided by staying elsewhere.

Great customer support and Ryan (kitchen) goes above and beyond. Overall, the hotel could be more clean. The elevator, hallways and the rooms were clearly littered and visibly not cleaned.

Stay was nice! Carpets could use a nice cleaning. My only real complaint was there was a smell to the room. Musty or wet dog like. Can not pin point exactly what it was but it was funky. Other than that it was a very pleasant. Staff was friendly and we were able to check in just a bit early which was fantastic.

It took two days to get poly-fill pillows (allergic to feather). Our reservation was for four nights, and our room was only cleaned on the afternoon of our last night. We didn’t get fresh towels until the last night, and there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling from the room above that happened every day starting on the first night. We used our towels to save the floor (and the room below us) and they didn’t replace our towels even then. I had to complain multiple times to several people, making me feel like the jerk for pointing out the leak and needing fresh towels. One night manager promised a one night credit, but the desk person the morning of check out told us no. That any refund due to “inconvenience” was the responsibility of Hotels.com

Everything was fantastic! The front desk person, Jackie, was fantastic! My sister and I ABSOLUTELY loved her. So helpful and cordial. Breakfast was awesome. The waitress was so helpful. The room was spectacular! Loved the beds. Super comfortable. I have stayed in this hotel on three separate occasions and always been extremely satisfied.

I showed up to find that 3/4 of the hotel was under construction, which I have not been told. There was no Wi-Fi and when I called the front desk, she was astounded to find that she didn’t either. Had no idea what to tell me. I also found out that because of the instruction, the gym was closed. It was very nice that they offered free passes to the Y across the street, but I definitely would not have stayed if I had known I had to go elsewhere to use the gym. On the whole, very disappointing.

I have been waiting to write this review because although I had some issues during my stay, I tried first to talk to the general manager Kayla Garcia about my concerns. I have left multiple message on her voicemail but have never received a call back. I booked a stay in October and arrived a bit early to check in. I was given a key to my room at that time but told that the room was not ready yet. My husband and I walked to a nearby store and returned around 3:30pm. Check in is posted for 3pm. I inquired at the desk to see if my room was ready yet. But Faith, a front desk employee said it was not. When I asked why it was still not ready even though it was after 3pm, she rudely told me that check in is not actually at 3, thats just when they are allowed to check people in, not an actual check-in time. Excuse me, what? Well finally our room was ready and we checked in. However around 7am, someone opened up the door of our room while my husband was just stepping out of the shower. We shouted at them to get out, I went into the hall to discover a young couple there with all their luggage. They said the front desk had just checked them into this room. I went immediately to the front desk and was told that they had no record of my stay at all or a room being assigned to me. What kind of a hotel operates this way? I feel totally violated and to make matters worse the manager will not even return my call to discuss concerns. Unacceptable for a Hilton property!!

We purchased our stay online a month before our event we were attending and when we arrived at check in they said we had to pay the amount we already paid because it wasn’t paid for. We knew that was incorrect but the line was backing up out the door and they only had 1 inexperienced person running the front desk. My husband then put his card in to cover it and we would figure it out after the event. We got to our room only for our credit card company calling us to tell us that the hotel charged us twice for the room. For 1 night and one basic room we had almost $700 tied up on our card to say the least we were frustrated and it put a damper on a fun exciting night that we had been looking forward too.

The staff was very friendly however the hot tub wasn’t working during our stay. The neighborhood isn’t great, and there were items and money stolen from my vehicle. The room was clean, but some of the towels were so old and worn they had stains and were very rough.

The view of the falls is fantastic! I really appreciated such a unique view. It was really cool to see it flowing pretty hard! Overall, the area around the hotel is okay, lots of homeless traffic but in a good location get to anywhere in Auburn or Lewiston. Good food and great service at the restaurant in the hotel. Gritty Mcduff's across the street is a cool spot and Cibo pizza just up the road is the best pizza I've ever had!

Great hotel, convenient to Bates College and downtown Lewiston and Auburn. Kids had a blast in the small, clean indoor pool. Front desk staff very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor sitting area behind the hotel.

The hotel was undergoing construction and the pool was not available. Our room was nice but the bathroom was not clean. There was no free breakfast and honestly the food was not great considering the price. Overall it was a big bummer that we paid so much for so little as far as accommodations.
