The one thing that we found disappointing was the heated pool which was more of a cold pool. Otherwise a love clean apartment that made for a very comfortable stay.

Clean spacious rooms. Do not stay here if you are after a gym. There are 6 machines (and nothing else). Of the 6 machines the 2 treadmills do not work (1 is stuck on incline the other cannot 'get up to speed'). The rowing machine barely functions, the cross trainer won't power on and I didn't try the 2 stationary bikes.

Restaurant looks amazing but unfortunately booked out when we checked in - room service was the perfect alternative.Be careful in high vehicles as undercover park roof quite low. Check in very efficient and lovely friendly receptionist. Will stay again when passing through Dubbo again.

Apartment room presented as tidy but on further inspection, cleanliness was lacking- the bedroom glass sliding door was covered in handprints from a toddler, the plate on the top of the pile of plates in kitchen cupboard was dirty, and the bedside table had smear marks on it. The room only had 4 pillows in it, despite being advertised as sleeping 5 (luckily we had brought one of our own which the 5th guest used).

The staff were amazing and friendly. However, our room was so dusty that it flared 2/4 of us up with dust hayfever. All three pools were very dirty full of slime and unable to swim in during our visit. Rooms could do with a deep clean to remove significant dust.

Reception staff were very friendly and seemed lovely but the room didn't appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. There was a dead squished bug in the kitchenette cupboard, and the renovated bathroom looked great but was poorly designed where the bathroom sink tap was too long for the basin and water splashed out and over the nasin every time the tap was used. Room set up itself was fine and staff were great but room could've been cleaner.

Nice room. Super easy and fast check-in. Room was quite nice for the price. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Good A/C and heating. Only minor issues with the room. The towel rail in the bathroom was falling down and there were no obvious power outlets in the master bedroom. Would definitely stay again.

It was good apart from the bathroom having quite a gross sewerage smell coming from it. Also, housekeeping knocked on our door before checkout waking us up. They then did not wait for our reply before entering. This has happened to us twice now when staying at Cattleman’s.

The property was located a short 5min drive to the zoo so perfect if that’s the reason for your visit. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, it was clean and spacious for a family of 4. There was a great coffee shop and Thai restaurant directly across the road. Would stay again if going back to Dubbo.

Access to the property is unclear as there are different entrances to get to allocated room. I went out and returned at 8pm to find the entrance locked . Had to park the car in different location. Room was comfortable enough, however too close to the main road and heard trucks all night and people talking. Reasonably priced but unfortunately too noisy for me. Check in was quick but that’s about it.
