Quality Inn Dubbo International

Was a nice place, located well within Dubbo. Facilities were nice, wifi was not great but tv and what not were great

Family room was great with kids, they had their own space and TV. Pool area comfortable for a lounge around. Used the guest laundry and worked well. Reception was friendly. A little out of the main action for restaurants but the golf club behind the hotel had meals and drinks at a good price.

Comfortable family room, 2 rooms with 2 single beds for 2nd room. Rooms still fitted with window rattler air-conditioning units.. Disadvantage of our family room is it is at the front of the property so traffic noise is loud being on a busy road. Pool is a good size and well maintaned. Also have pool towels for guests to use. Tennis courts also on site, and have racquets available for the use of the courts. Good for our short stay of 2 nights

Staff were helpful & friendly. Restaurant was wonderful. Pool was very refreshing after a hot day. Rooms were clean. It might be time to update the beds..

Always great the ONLY negative is they have very slow WiFi, I often have to use my mobile phone instead.

Good Restaurant, Easy Parking, Friendly Service

I was disappointed that the restaurant/bar weren't open during our stay.

We were really happy with our stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and the facilities were great! We were able to play a game of tennis which our kids loved. The hotel is super close to the zoo and very easy access to the town centre.

Our room was a good size, clean and tidy with a view out to the golf course next door. The location was on the edge of town but close to the Western Plains Zoo entrance. TV was SD only without the ability to stream. The WiFi was slow and almost unusable, we hotspotted from our phone to an iPad.

The staff were amazing. It was a great property with ample parking for our ute and trailer. Nice pool area, will definitely stay here again

My bathroom had black mould on the ceilings and on the tiles and staff weren’t overly friendly I won’t stay there again.

The bathroom grouting was dirty. Bathroom bin was rusty. Wall ( not tiles) in bathroom dirty. Walls and door frames dirty. Room very gloomy. Brown decor and low lighting. The air conditioning unit blew straight onto the bed and was very uncomfortable.

The room hygiene was excellant.

The room was not cleaned When they made up the room beds were left they only emptied the bin and replaced towels couldn’t even give us coffee. Had mold in the shower and fan in bathroom didn’t work The doors were unsafe for having little ones the security chain was way to low and the locks didn’t lock

Shower roof was littered with mould. The shower was that tight and pokey that the glass shelf was hitting into my back.

Very basic and didn’t seem like my room had a proper clean, basic facilities and condition overall very disappointing, bathroom and overall room poor condition.

Sadly I did not enjoy the stay. The room was not clean. Things from previous people were there. No soap or body wash. Hair all over bathroom walls.

The rooms were not serviced properly, we stayed 3 nights and bathroom towels were not replaced, bed not made each day, garbage not cleared. It was very average.

Our king size bed was a medium firm and comfortable enough, however, one side did like to make a wire popping sound when rolling over. Shower had excellent hot water flow, and was very clean. The air conditioning functioned well, but as with many, the power LED light makes the room less than dark during sleep. TV channels had great reception. Would be nice to have at least one sitting chair in all standards of room. Plenty of robe space. The small gym room had a functioning and bluetooth connected treadmill, elliptical and cycle; plus a small cable weights machine and a few small kettlebells and dumbells. It was clean, with a functioning air conditioner and the window overlooked the scenic golf course. Unfortunately, as with many motels of this style, the window side of the room receives a lot of traffic noise from the Newell Highway's constant heavy truck traffic; and without double glazed windows, you hear all of it. It is easily within walking distance to the fantastic Western Plains Zoo; and if you don't ant to drive anywhere, the golf club restaurant made high quality cantonese and malaysian dishes of very generous servings.

While a great place to stay . Pillows were flat and seemed old and the bed was far to soft and had definite body dents. I had to sleep on floor due to back issues the soft bed caused.

This was my second stay here and while it was a spacious room and generally comfortable, although carpet was stained and probably due for replacing and curtains did not fully cover the window, nor are they blackout curtains. it unfortunately was near the highway again, with a lot of road noise. If planning on staying it would be wise to request a room further off the main highway

Nice and clean motel that's very close to Western Plains Zoo. My request for a late check in was accomodated without issue. Bathroom was very clean and spacious. Noise isolation is not the best and you might hear some road noise, but we were able to still get very good sleep.

This was just my experience don’t let it put you off staying here as they seemed very busy so this is just my thoughts I went to check in at 545pm only to be told by the receptionist that my room had been given to someone with the same surname big fail for me -as it was school holidays there was no where else to stay so i was stuck with this. They offered me another room which was lower grade than what i had booked with other offers thrown like free breakfast or dinner - no thanks !! They gave me a partial refund .I questioned whether they could actually give me my correct room but not possible as someone was already using it - if they had given me my chosen room that would of been the best outcome but i was told no ! I stayed in a ground floor room very noisy with the main highway next to it . the room was cheaply furnished and the bed had a big lump in the middle so an uncomfortable nights sleep . The bathroom was dirty with hair in the shower along with mould.The bathroom mirror was highly damaged not sure what was going on there it had big black marks on it . This room hadn’t be cleaned for a while it seemed even the light switches were thick with filth and something was going on with the front door handle . Tv was limited to one channel ABC . so i lay in bed and listened to the people above me showering instead .I couldn’t wait to leave and i would look at other accommodation in Dubbo in future .

The Lady at reception was so lovely and she made it very easy to get checked in and settled for the afternoon. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff

Staff very friendly, when asked for a downstairs room they accommodated us but the issue was Wotif had already taken our room payment and our new room was cheaper by $22 but Wotif hasn't refunded that money.

From the moment I arrived until departure. I had nothing but exemplary service. Our host was extraordinary. Rooms were clean. Location. Excellent. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

We were placed in a room directly facing the Newell Highway. All night we were subjected to the road noise of interstate semi-trailers, trucks , road hoons and sirens. Hardly much sleep. At check-in asked for wifi connection, was given square code to copy, later that night could not connect wifi as required password. As no phone in room to contact reception waited till following morning. Next morning on toilet found it would not flush, cistern empty. Go to reception to complain, sorry they said had plumber cutting off water. Why were we not advised accordingly, stupid look but no answer. Why were we not given wifi password when checking in when we particularly asked for in, again stupid look but then gave us the password as we were about to leave. Left toilet full and told them ... this was not our usual way of leaving a room. Whole experience totally disgusting and third world level .Give it a miss!!

Good location for Dubbo zoo, observatory and club and hotel nearby. Easy walking distance. Staff very friendly at check in.

Excellent stay, quiet room up the back away from the highway, close to town, comfortable bed and a coffee machine. Staff very helpful

Great location for visiting Dubbo zoo. However very noisy with big trucks on the main highway into & out of town.

great location close to town and the zoo . Unlike other hotels in Dubbo set off the main road so it’s at night . Supplies available at reception which is very handy and backs onto the golf course you you can enjoy a drink and meal at the chinese restaurant

Very happy with the room. Dinner was excellent. Staff well trained and friendly.

Reception staff were really nice and friendly and the restraunts food was really yummy. The steak pasta was amazing. Cleaning lady was super lovely and friendly when chexking on room service needed. Reccomend its very close to the zoo and the RFDS is a must visit

Bathroom lights didn't work (not even bulbs in them). Was put in a room when the hotel looked less then half full right on the main road where struggled to sleep with trucks going by. Dinner was terrible. Dumplings were frozen in the middle. Not an enjoyable experience unfortunately.

Rooms very basic for the price you’re paying, restaurant service is not what it used to be. I waited 1/2 hour after ordering my meal to be told it wasn’t entered so waited another 1/2 hour.

Room was pleasant bed comfortable. Restaurant not open. We had upstairs room. Stairway was very unclean.

Overall the property is good. On site restaurant meals are expensive but nice. The room i had, 40, had a glass shelf in the shower which was at an inconvenient height, shoulder height, resulting in multiple hits with my elbow. Shelf needs removing or a rethink on location.

Reasonable quality conventional motel accommodation associated with excellent restaurant with poolside bar. Easy access at edge to town and close to zoo.
